They have good flavors and it's real ice cream not the soft serve shit you get at mcdonald's which is also good but I need more flavor choices which they have. I usually get Strawberry Cheesecake. This is regarding pharmacy only. The evening staff under Michael seem a bit slow. After calling my doc and they verified prescription was approved I went to Rite Aid after Six days of waiting. Still Rite Aid has no record of this medication then the pharmacist Michael tries to imply it is a refill that they are calling about. When I specifically told him this was for a new medication. Does he not know the difference between a refill and a new medicine just prescribed from the doctor a few days prior? He became very unhelpful to the point where he did not want to solve the issue. He blamed everyone the doctor the ins company. The insurance company called him and after waiting a long time on hold he gets the call... get this- he then says she is calling to approve a refill I already have on file. He never verified generic name of drug just be cause it sounded like a refill I already had there. This was one of the most epic crock of BS ever presented to me. I had to speak to management and call my doc whom I had to be transferred to by after hours emergency and he said he will send a new escript. After talking to MOD on duty I decided to come back in the am to deal with new pharmacist and give new escript time to get there....to be continued going to pickup today. I'm already experiencing so much anxiety from this experience and that is one of my health issues. I hope this does not turn into a lawsuit! read more

Had to change my review...they still are a horrible place to shop...Won't even bore you with the details... I have occasionally stopped by here for items needed in a pinch. However, the staff seems friendly but is more preoccupied with each other, their phones and friends they seem to neglect the customer. I came in last week to have a prescription filled for my cat. The pharmacist was helpful and he even signed her up for some discount plan they offer. However when my husband and I picked up the prescription, the bottle was HUGE!! I asked him why he gave us so much and he said he had to. I told him the script was for 2 weeks not two years!! They were not willing to reduce the size of the bottle and medication. SO I paid for the years supply ($65) and when I asked for a dropper to give the tiny amount prescribed they gave me something that didn't even have a dosage amount that small and told me to guesstimate!!!! I will not come back to this pharmacy. The hours are convenient and they are always open but I prefer someone that actually LISTENS to me. read more

I did not know there are 2 Rite Aid on Yelp for Hercules area. Whenever I have gone to this store I have just great experience. The new store looks amazing and real clean. Of course they moved some of their products around so it gets harder to find but then their ambassador shows up out of blue with a big smile and her sincerity to help, all my frustration disappears. She comes and helps me personally.I heard her speaking with Filipino customer, Spanish customer and Indian customers in their dialogues. I was there yesterday and I saw her greeting some couple in sign language. I am just simply amazed by this employee. If Rite Aid has a customer service like this, I would skip all the other stores. read more

Good grief. How hard is it to fill prescriptions? What's the point of dropping off my prescription with insurance information if I still have to wait for them to verify with my insurance when I'm there to pick up? And when you tell people to sit down while you do the work that should have already been done before pickup, don't forget about them! I sat for what seemed to be an eternity when I finally had to interrupt. Everything was ready to go and just sitting on a table. Get your act together, pharmacy! I was browsing around this store when Shilpa Rivera, the Wellness Ambassador came and asked me if I need any help. She showed me all the sections around the pharmacy. I came to know that the store's management had changed way better to serve the customer. I know now about the Shingle shot for my parent which is one of my major concerns.
