I Have problems transferring prescriptions from retail pharmacy to mail order, the patient is obligated to supervise every step of the process or the prescription won't get filled, your better off not transferring meds if possible. read more

I came in to get a flu shot with my 4 year old today and the staff was rude and unprofessional. My daughter was terrified and nervous as it was, and the staff "administering" the shot did not help whatsoever. the first lady helping us walked away saying "i can't do this." and the second guy came in and told us the same and that we needed to go to a pediatrician because they were ill equipped. are pharmacists not trained to work with kids? even the slightest bit of patience would've made this experience a tad bit better. please do yourself a favor and do not bring your kids here. I've been to this location before with different staff and had a completely different experience, same child. it's a shame your experience changes depending on who's on shift that day. read more

As pharmacies are closing more and more pharmacies are absorbing the burden of filling prescriptions, they are super busy and like all businesses, short staffed. It infuriates me to hear these trivial complaints, and probably from people who don't work. I have used this pharmacy for years and never had a bad experience. Impossible to get ahold of anybody using their phone number, they just straight up ignore calls. You come in for a prescription and they will tell you wait an hour or call next time. Next time comes around and you call, and call, and call and not one call is answered. Come in and wait an hour. Try using their app and the prescription won't be found. Have a set pick up time that you come every month, and they STILL won't have the prescription ready. Always only one person working the register, so lines are long too. Might be time to switch pharmacies. Coming to Rite Aid for anything other than prescriptions is illogical since their prices are usually 2-3x higher than others and even higher than convenience store prices for non-prescription items. read more

Very friendly staff clean store a lot of parking. Accessible from several directions also good prices. Dirty bathrooms. They should be ashamed of themselves. Corporate needs to replace those nasty stained sinks. The pharmacy is open until 10 I came in at 9 had a 40 minute wait but it's whatever. Always good sales and pricing. I was going to the pharmacy. I went back to counter and there was a lady that walked in front of me at same time. I moved about 6 feet and the worker told me to move back. I had walked past a set of signs I which the middle said start there (I did not see it worker had to point it out). I am all about privacy of medical issues. Why doesn't Rite Aid put a little more signage to inform patrons maybe at the open counter, markings on floor. Signs bigger than a 6inch by 3inch in the middle of two other signs. I went to the pharmacy to pick up my medicine like anyone else would... drive thru is closed due to short staff so I go in... waited in line for about 25 mins... it could have been worse but the thing that got my blood pressure up was that he could gossip with an employee who was "on break" and supposedly "doesn't work in the pharmacy " and when I told him I was here for pick up I got a very snippy "hold on" so future advice to this very heavy set man working in the pharmacy, the least you can say is "I'll be right with you." Well organized and competent staff. Stopped in here quickly to buy halls cough drops and while there was a super long line, the cashier called for backup and a few other cashiers came to the rescue and it allowed us to finish our transaction quickly. Prices on drinks were pretty steep and I felt a lot of the stuff was over priced. One thing I recommend is to check out the clearance seasonal aisles as they had tons of Christmas decorations and trees on sale for very cheap. read more

We were pharmacy customers here for years. After receiving someone else's prescription in error and then the pharmacy giving our prescription to someone else in error, we left. This pharmacy is super busy and Rite Aid doesn't offer as many prescription management features as others. I would have to make multiple trips and a lot of waiting to get our prescriptions filled so we transferred to a new pharmacy close by. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would! They will not answer the phone and have lost so many script's I can't count. I am NOT using them anymore. I've had it. Three weeks ago they lost an anabiotic script. I came all the way on a ferry, then drove to this pharmacy. Then they said they did not even get the script, which I called my doctor twice and they said they did send it. Now, they've lost the pain script that my doctor sent in and I have to go without it until tomorrow. My doctor has to re-send it to my Kaiser pharmacy on Steele Street. Do not use this Pharmacy! Ahhh Rite Aid. We meet again. If my insurance were not contracted with Rite Aid I would never go there again. The doctor wrote a prescription the way they always write the prescription that Rite Aid fills but this time Rite Aid decided to be helpful and call the doctor and let them know that it could "appear fraudulent" to the insurance company the way she wrote it. We had Group Health! The doctor works for the insurance company!! This caused me to have to spend 45 minutes on the phone at 5:30 on a Friday trying to get it written a different way for the exact same thing because the doctor's office would be closed the next day. the experience at this store's little clinic was excellent and was very impressed. However when I went to get some stuff and pay the Cashier, She scanned one time twice. seeing as how it was on a Visa Card I explained to the Cashier by the name of Sandy. That I didn't care how long it takes for it to be put back on the card. I just don't want to carry cash on me because it easier to lose and then you have no way of getting it back. both me and my close friend felt that The Cashier was making the claim that it was my fault for Her ringing the item 2x. She said that the standards and regulations of Rite Aid forced Her to do it by cash because if she does a credit it takes up to two weeks. Dear Store Manager, it wasn't that she rang up the item 2x or that She refuse to put it on my card. The issue is everytime I come in here there is always an issue when I use Her to ring me up. I also ride the bus for the last 15 years and one of the things I have learned from having done so is that you never carry cash because once its lost there is no way to recover it. it should be up to the customer to decide if they ultimately get cash or credit onto the card. not up to the employee and then make it sound like its the customer's fault read more

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever used. They never answer their phones and they lose your prescriptions. Avoid this store at all costs! I've been trying to get my seizure meds transferred because I moved and thank god thought I wouldn't have to deal with this place ever again but they literally didn't send them to my new pharmacy. My new pharmacy tells me they can't get ahold of anyone in the pharmacy. When I try calling again nobody answers. I dialed the front of the store and asked to speak with the manager she took my call directly to them. The person was extremely rude and told me there was nothing to be done. I told them this isn't funny this is my seizure medication I have to take fix this send it to the pharmacy well we already sent it. Then put me on hold in the middle of speaking and then told me they'd send it again. Absolutely Zero help. I'll never use this place again. Don't go here. I had a bad experience with a pharmaceutical tech, I'm not sure of the title because he was not wearing a name tag. He said his name was "Nick." My issue was that I checked on my prescription from my doctors on Monday. I was told it was not sent. Tuesday the 8th I called my doctor and they said they sent the prescription on Monday. I called again Tuesday and spoke to who was was admitted by him to be "Nick" that my prescription was not in and that it was on hold because they were not insured. I went to the store and spoke to Nick in person and asked him why I was not called and that I was good to pay for the prescription without it being insured. He said that "My phone number was not on file." I have received 2 phone calls from the store when my prescriptions are in, so that was a lie. I gave him my phone number, again, and told him I wanted my prescription. He said that I would receive a phone call. About 3 hours later I return since I did not receive a phone call and the store had less than 40 minutes before it closed for the day. I spoke to Nick again and he said that "it was on hold because it was not insured." I asked him why I did not receive a phone call since I gave him my number and asked him if he remembered me telling him that I was good to pay. He said it was an issue with "the system." I told him I needed my prescription and I waited about 15 minutes. I went to pay after asking for his name and he said it was "Nick" and that it would be on the receipt, which he did not give me. He had "issues with my debit card due to the chip reader" and questioned if I had cash, which I did not on me. I went to my bank down the road and got cash and returned to pay. "Nick" would not deal with me and the pharmacist apalogized for him, not Nick. I will not be receiving my prescriptions from that store anymore due to the lack of communication, lack of customer service nor regard of their patient's care and needs. "Nick" is a terrible employee and should not work in the healthcare field. read more

When i went to this rite aid pharmacy in October i dropped off my prescription, and was told it would be but 15 min. Now My House is across the street from there Parking Lot. It takes me 3 min. To Walk home. But being told the wait was Suppose to be Only 15min. I decided to Just wait in the chairs until it was ready.. i waited patiently thinking it must be Busy and trying to be understanding. After 30 minutes of waiting tho i Asked how much longer it was going to take. And It turned out they forgot About me. And apoligized and asked Me to wait the 15 min. Again -.-So i wait another 20 min. Until i ask WTH and they Pull out my prescription and say its ready. I'm siting right there in front of them for An Hour. The least they could do for me, Is atleast call me up to the counter as Soon as its done. They literaly had me Wait an Hour in the chair, because they Forgot about me. And they hardly Apoligized. It was so Rude and inconciderate. It wasnt a rare prescription. Just some common allergy medicine. .....and Fast Forward a Month & now its November So I return to fill my Allergy Medicine. And i Shit You Not. THE SAME GIRL. Forgot About me again, After 25 minutes and So i waited for 50 minutes all over again. I Will not Ever Go Back!!! To this Location!!! I first was called that my pharmacy order was ready as I was a customer transfer from the DuPont Health Mart to this Rite Aid location in Lakewood. I went to go pick up my order, and the guy with metal studs all over his face first told me to wait behind an open cash register, but I saw he was still helping another pharmacy customer next to the open register so I waited behind the sign to protect her privacy. He then yelled for me to wait directly at the other open register, and I then proceeded to hear the other ladies entire Pharmacy transaction and broke HIPAA privacy rules because of him. He then finished and asked for my information and I told him I was picking up my new pharmacy order for a new Glucose meter, test strips, and hand braces for carpel tunnel. He proceeded to chuckle, then said there was a problem with my order. But if I had a seat he would call me when he sorted it out. So I sat for 30 minutes waiting with no further word from him. I finally asked another person about my order and he then proceeded to tell me that my glucose meter was not in stock but the test strips were. Also, that my hand braces were a "medical device" and not a medication and needed a separate form filled out when I had dropped off my prescriptions initially the day before. Further the initial worker who took my information and looked up my order could have told me this at first rather than having me sit and waste my time. They knew full well my items were either not in-stock or needed additional paperwork, and yet they literally chucked at me and proceeded to waste my time! The other co-worker tried to make an excuse but when pressed he could not give me an actual answer as to why I was not told this when I first tried to get my order. He then went to go talk to a pharmacist who told him that it was not entirely true about my wrist braces, and he could go and grab them off the self for me to fulfill my prescription and assist with the paperwork asap. The guy who helped me didn't bother to do this after I HEARD the entire conversation! I then proceeded to tell everyone that I refused to be a customer of Rite Aid, bought the test strips (with no glucose meter...thanks!), and then proceeded to immediately go to CVS who had everything IN STOCK and ready within the hour of my transfer. If you are a former customer of DuPont Health Mart, then BE WARNED! Transfer your prescriptions as soon as possible or else you will be laughed at and treated like total trash by this location. The Pharmacy staff was terrible, inconsiderate, and downright MEAN in how they treated me. I will NEVER step foot in a Rite Aid ever again. Period! read more

I had scheduled a covid test at this location. Arrived 20 minutes early and the drive thru says closed due to staffing shortage. Okay I thought I'll just call. No answer. Just kept getting a beeping like the phone had been disconnected. So I waited at the drive thru honked and tried to wave a worker down. He looked right at me and walked away so I masked up and went inside. Got to the counter and shared that I had covid test scheduled. The worker with so much attitude told me it was going to be another 15 minutes or so because they were busy (one person in line but whatever I'm patient) and that I needed to go back outside because that's done outside at the drive thru. NO SHIT but your sign on the drive thru window doesn't say ANYTHING about waiting for someone to come test you. So either fix your phone or change your sign. AND DONT GIVE NICE CUSTOMERS RUDE ASS ATTITUDE. Like sorry everyone is busy and we ALL have jobs to do. I had no problem waiting but don't be rude AND make me wait. read more

Horrible customer service. The pharmacy is a joke. If you have an automated refill, the automated line calls you twice the day before, then when you go wait in line to pick them up, they are not ready. This has happened every month the last 3 months and no one will fix it. Today happened was the last straw as the chick working the pharmacy drive through ignored me for ten minutes and when I rang the call button 3 times, she proceeded to argue with me that they are short handed even though I could clearly see into the store and there was no one in line. Told her instead of arguing give me my prescription, and she said it wasn't ready even though I got two phone calls the day before. I moved my RX's to Safeway hassle free. read more
