After reading reviews I'm so glad I did not go with this company. I was referred to them and I gave them a chance to give us an estimate for basement carpet. After the riterug rep showed up to measure our basement which took him 3min, I asked to see carpet samples so we could make a choice. The response I got was I don't have any samples. I said ok can you come back with some? The rep said sure and left. I emailed the point of contact I was given Susan and emailed her of what happened and her response she was what kind of carpet do you want? Via email. I replied stating not sure would be nice to see actual samples. The next email I got was out of office reply. I replied no longer wishing to go further with their company. And no reply from them. So my opinion stay clear of their business. read more

The Rite Rug team and the Rite Rug installers are terrible, terrible people. Dirty disgusting work. It was exactly four years ago when the filthy, slimy Rite Rug installers installed my floor. How am I ever going to get this fixed? The Rite Rug salesperson should have offered another option at least. They just parrot everything right back to you. The Rite Rug installers do not put care into their work. DIRTY, FILTHY, DISGUSTING, CARELESS WORKMANSHIP!!!! When Joe and Joe (the Rite Rug installers) came back in March 2016 to pound on the floor for two hours to fix the gaps, they created six more problems. I still have all those photos to sort through and post. Later, Mike (the Rite Rug installer) ruined the floor between the bedroom door by attempting to pry out one of the floor panels. There's scratches and abrasions on and around that floor panels on other floor panels. COMPLETE STUPIDITY!!!!!! Even worse than those unsightly gaps is that the quarter-round "shoe" has become separated from the molding (bottom of wall) since the Rite Rug installers nailed them on. In areas of all the rooms, the "shoe" is separated and not even installed the right way. Those separations started four years ago. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! DO NOT USE RITE RUG!!!!!!!!! We had a bit of a rough start with Rite Rug but manager Mike went way above and beyond to make things right. He met with us personally for our estimate and got the job started in under a week! Update to my July 2015 post: Well, it's been over a year since my flooring installation (April 2015) and Rite Rug still hasn't fixed my flooring! I have made numerous attempts to contact them and they keep blowing me off. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want deficient flooring installation and lousy customer service. read more

Quick update I had two more estimates and the square footage they came up with is almost 300 sf less than Rite Rug. So buyer beware if you do business with them double check the measurements as the will over measure to charge you more money read more

8/19/17 update: Mike, the marketing manager, played phone tag with me a couple of times then completely abandoned the issue. In his last message at least two months ago he stated, "I will call you Monday." He never did. I left a message for him this morning. I had 6 tiles cracked in my shower, running horizontally (after only 3 years). Called them on December 4, 2019 to inform them of this issue. They sent an inspector out to my house on December 20, 2019 and then I didn't hear back from them. I called, emailed and left messages with no answer from anyone. If I ever did get an answer it was to tell me that they had to talk to the manager and would get back to me. Again, I didn't hear from anyone. After another email asking for an update and another call, I was told that they would look into it and get back to me. Finally, on February 4, 2020, I got a call from John who left me a message to call him the next day. I called, left a message and he finally called me back on February 5, 2020. Let's just say he wasn't helpful at all. I was told that it was out of warranty, which I understand and was willing to pay for the labor of the replacement of the tiles (which I have extra in my basement). I was told that they no longer have their retail side and that they don't have a crew to do the work. Really??? Not my problem. They wasted 2 months of my time. Customer service on this issue was horrible and handled poorly. I also had another inspector come out to look at the tile and said it was subpar work at best. So glad that they don't care about their customers. read more
