The nitro cold brew coffee here is the stuff dreams are made of, or in my case, the stuff my coffee dreams are made of. I had gone off coffee for over a year and this was the first coffee I've had since and still the best I've had in quite some time. It is pricey at $5 for only a 4 oz pour, but it's rich and chocolatey and nicely foamy (do not put a lid on! it kills the scrumptiousness of the brew!). You can ask for a super sized 8 or 12 oz pour which is not that much more expensive. I had this every day I was in town and it never disappointed. Opens promptly bright and early by 7:30 am every day. read more

Then, of course, not only did we -- being the considerate people we are -- wait until everyone in our party's coffees were ready, but by the time we carefully walked those large, full mugs across Oxbow Market, to our awaiting table, our coffees were disappointingly no longer burning hot. The coffee was good (if I recall correctly), had a full flavor, but not noticeably different than some of the other fine coffee establishments that are able to pour a quicker cup. The coffee: amazing! I loved the fresh taste, and everything is made fresh. And the decaf is really good :) The atmosphere: there's bar seating so you can watch them make your coffee as well as more seating in the market. There's also free wifi, which is also nice. The staff: I wish they were a bit friendlier, but they made the coffee just fine. Price: a bit pricey for a cup of coffee, but it was worth it! read more

I recently stopped by for a morning cup of hot beverage at Ritual's stand in Oxbox Market. Since I don't drink coffee I'm not gaga about going to a "name" coffee roastery. I ordered a soy hot cocoa. Hugely disappointing! First off, the barista steamed the soy milk only a little bit and it came out tepid. Yuck. Had to request a re-do. For the second try, the flavor was mostly soy-milk taste without any real chocolate flavor. At $4.50 I felt cheated; I give up. Next time I'll drag myself somewhere else in the morning. read more

Coffee is good BUT the service was horrible. I ordered a latte with almond milk, and they used whole. When I told them they messed up my drink, they wanted me to pay for the charge of almond milk if I wanted another.. the girl behind me in line paid for it because she thought it was ridiculous and she could tell I was ready to tell them off. As I waited, one of the baristas was talking to some guy and was making comments about how she got stuck with a latte because I messed up my order. I haven't gone back since. Based in SF since 2005, the coffeebar in the Oxbow Market is the only one of their six locations to be located outside The City. Their stall is in the center aisle, directly across from C Casa on one side and Five Dot Ranch on the other. We got a mocha to go and enjoyed it. Ritual coffee has strong caramel overtones, and the espresso even more so. They do pride themselves on making their drinks properly, so there's usually a line. They work fast, however, and it only took around five minutes before we got our coffee. read more

this cute spot is located inside the Napa Oxbow market which is always a lot of fun but also super busy. They have a main order station and then the side station which isn't always open (believe it closes around 2 or 3). I've always ordered from the side since they have a cute sit down nook there to sit and you can also order from the "secret" (ie not so secret menu). One thing I'd especially recommend trying out is the cup + star combo which is 1 shot espresso, a 1 shot espresso, and a cup batch brew. to be fair it is a lot of coffee but it's delicious and you can always order it and split between two people read more

I always have a very nice experience whenever I visit this location. The staff is helpful, friendly, and seemingly passionate about their coffee - which I love. The three star rating , however, derives from the costly 3/4 lb. bag of coffee I bought. Broke it open this morning to enjoy and the beans are the worst I've seen in awhile. Extremely dried out and appearing to be of significant age. Very irregular and do not produce a good smell or flavor. You would think their inventory would be rotated/dated for freshness? I order a Matcha latte with oat milk, but I got a Mocha. The server could have told me that it wasn't on the menu, but instead decided that my accent was amusing. On top of that he made me repeat my order a few times and then asked me why did I want the oat milk for. I found this to be totally unacceptable and racist. We found ourselves killing some time at Oxbow Public Market before our wine tasting appointments (when in Napa...), and promptly got in line here, lured by the good Yelp reviews and exotic-sounding coffee blends. Now, I'm really not a coffee connoisseur-- I'm just your basic Asian girl who likes her soy lattes and PSLs and doesn't mind drinking coffee at the office-- and it's been a couple of weeks so I don't remember the exact name of the blend (maybe from Ecuador?). But what I do remember is that the coffee was SMOOTH-- a distinct, fruity, slightly nutty taste which made add-ins unnecessary. It was perfect and not too caustic or acidic. My husband got the coffee blend of the day. Apparently it was so good that he told me he was still thinking about it two weeks later. Price vs. quality? Definitely worth it. Nitro cold brew costs $5 and is refreshing, bold, and delicious. Also, it is lightly creamy and leaves a Häagen-Dazs coffee ice cream flavor after taste. Which was surprising because..... If you're a Starbucks junkie who is feeling a little intimidated stepping up to the counter that will have slightly different options than what you're used to (especially in the iced beverage department), a latte is a good place to start. I've had a latte and macchiato here and both were great! I love how you can actually taste the espresso when you order a latte! With most coffee places, the beans are old or the espresso isn't extracted properly, and all you taste is milk. I also got a bag of whole beans here and it made some of the best coffee I've had in recent memory. The beans were from Ethiopia and had notes of grapefruit and home run pie. (What is home run pie, you ask? I have no idea, but it was delicious.) Pricing was decent for specialty coffee--$3.50 for a single shot latte and $4 something for a double shot. Being in the busy Oxbow Market, there's always a line, but it moves quickly. Bonus: if you're not in the mood for one of Ritual's pastries, there's sure to be something that'll tickle your fancy in one of the many shops in this indoor market. read more

This is my favorite coffee place in the whole Bay Area. The coffee is so smooth and caramelly - I love it. I usually just get a latte. One improvement would be for them to serve larger sizes. They only sell one size latte and it is teeny. It's probably only 8 oz. It's located in the Oxbow Market. There's always a line. It usually takes about 10 minutes from the time I order to get my coffee. There is plenty of parking in the back Oxbow lot. read more
