Mmkay. Coffee: fantastic: I got a flat white with almond mylk and it was good n' strong. Pastry: fair: spinach-feta deal would have been elevated had it been warmed. I saw a toaster but woman who helped me said 'we don't warm pastries, but they are delivered fresh daily'. Normally, I'd pass on a cold pastry but I'd done my research and knew they came from Machine Shop thanks to yelper, Hugh H. (*Salutes*). It was good despite the temp. Feels: fair: it was warm in temp (friggin 33 degrees outside!!! Take me back to Texas!); tepid in atmosphere. Two word review: solid beans.

Th philly coffee scene reminds me of the Austin coffee scene in some ways- very well roasted beans with unique flavors that pair well into a well executed drink. My husband and I came in for an afternoon pick me up. I ordered their strawberry rose latte (all their syrups are made in house). The bartender seemed very experienced and recommended an oat milk pairing with the drink. At first, I honestly rolled my eyes inside because I normally hate when oat milk overpowers a roasted bean flavor to create a more "creamy latte", but I gave it a try anyways. Let's just say, I'm really happy I listened. All the flavors of the drink enhanced one another- the bean, strawberry, rose, and even the oat. It was absolutely delicious and had great mouth feel. I loved it. The drink was also very pretty. The interior was a bit small, but there are enough tables for people the camp out and do work. Overall, highly recommend!!

I wanted some coffee on a late Sunday afternoon and decided to try a spot I have driven by multiple times. Rival Bros coffee was actually quite busy. It's a small super cute coffee shop. I ordered a regular coffee.

This is a really nice spot to chill and have a great latte. Plenty of seating. I love their espresso based drinks and the freezo was good too.

An easily accessible cafe on E Passyunk right on the corner! I think the exterior looks way prettier than the real interior. The seating area is lackluster, a few wooden tables scattered around the back. There were a few people with their laptops when I went (not sure if there was an outlet but I think there was one by the couch). For decor, there's a Christmas tree by the couch at least! The service was alright, nothing outstanding. I got a maple tahini latte, and to my dismay, it tasted like a regular coffee. It's supposed to have pure maple syrup, vanilla, tahini, maldon salt, and spiced sugar garnish. Maybe if you like subtler flavors, this might be up your alley. I couldn't taste any of the winter or holiday flavors. This is probably why they didn't list their holiday drinks out. At least they made it with some latte art! I also got a cinnamon roll and ham and cheese croissant. The cinnamon roll was nothing out of the ordinary, but I wish it were soft and warm. The ham and cheese croissant was interesting because the ham is cooked into the croissant dough with cheese on top.

This coffee was fantastic! I absolutely adored the creative flavors for the summer / spring and I really enjoyed my accompanying loaf cake. It was tender, moist, and delicious. There were seats outside and indoors but it was pretty crowded on Saturday afternoon.

Found this Nice little coffee spot just a few steps away from the Airbnb I was staying in. Owned by 2 Friends and Philly natives, they roast their own beans and craft some great coffee. Cappuccino was very good but the roasted drip was even better. A choice of two blends, I chose the revolver blend- smooth cocoa with warm spices. It was a nice way to start the day. Staff is super nice and friendly. Just an overall great neighborhood spot!

It's always just great. It's always one of my favorites. Great staff. Great vibes. This spot might be a little hard to do work but always a solid place.

I am a coffee enthusiast so I love visiting coffee shops around the area. This coffee shop was lovely. I was in the area for an errand and came to this location. I was going to get a coffee but decided on an iced lychee jasmine tea with lime. I actually really really liked this tea! It was a unique drink and was so refreshing. I would honestly go back just for that. If my tea was good, the coffee must be even better. As far as the inside of the shop goes, healthy amount of seating for yourself or small groups to chill! Come do your work here for hang out.

Great lil coffee shop! Fair amount of seating inside (head to the back) and outside. I've been here twice and it wasn't too busy either time, but I do usually come in the late afternoon. Really appreciate that this cafe is open later than most. Got a chai tea, reasonably strong and spiced which I liked (I've had stronger, but this is still decent!). Just a little sweeter than I'd like, but overall pretty good. Wifi connection was really weak, if that matters to you.

Very cute coffee shop with delicious bites. Some sitting both inside and outside. Great atmosphere and service.

it's a small cute space, not too much seating. The service is good and the pricing is fair for the area. The coffee is quite average but consistent

This coffee shop is pretty popping. I love how they have an outdoor sitting area. I wish there were more seats inside the coffee shop. The service was pretty quick which was really nice. The coffee there was average. I felt like the coffee was pretty bitter which I am not a big fan of. Overall I would rate this a 3 out of 5

I don't think I've ever visited an an hour where I've seen it not. Often a line going from the counter, down the stairs, all the way to the bathroom. If you're looking for a quick coffee stop, don't expect to be in and out of here. That being said, they've got some kinds of seating not typical of coffee shops, including this nice long U-shaped couch seating. You'll be around with other folks reading or enjoying their joe, but it's a nice change of pace. Working-wise, wi-fi is solid. Outlets are sparse. Hard to stay a long time here. Music is at least at a tolerable level to tune out and is not usually too bumping. Staff here are quick, but won't be the friendliest. They won't be rude either. They're just trying to get through the line so don't take it personally Overall: would much prefer other places like Capital One Cafe for the reasons I visit cafes, but I can see this being a nice place for other more leisurely-natured visits!

It ended up taking about 45 minutes just to place our order, although the drinks themselves came out in around 10 minutes once we ordered. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the egg foam coffee, which was the item I was most excited to try. Instead, I ordered the Salted Brûlée Cà Phê, and it was excellent. The coffee was rich, flavorful, and tasted like a truly authentic Vietnamese iced coffee. Easily one of the better cà phê drinks I've had. The interior is beautifully designed with plenty of seating, and it seemed like a great place to hang out and catch up with friends. We would have stayed longer, but the wait took up most of our available time. Their snack menu also looked really unique, and I'd love to come back to try some of those items. A couple downsides: parking was a challenge since it's mostly street parking, and the location is a bit out of the way from Center City. It's not the easiest place to get to unless you're driving. Overall, the drinks were very good and the space was welcoming, but I don't think the experience was worth a nearly hour-long wait. I'd definitely consider coming back once the hype settles down a bit, because the coffee itself was worth trying.
