    Butterscotch pink peppercorn latte
    YangHwa P.

I have been coming here for over a year now. I used to go to one in center city, but this is much closer for me. Elixir always have great coffee, and also seasonal drinks which aren't super sweet. My favourite is Kabocha latte in the Fall. Service is always friendly, helpful, and efficient. Since this location is inside a high rise building they are closed on weekends (which is a pity, but not too bad). I have been getting their winter seasonal drink - Butterscotch Pink Peppercorn latte with almond milk. It has subtle butterscotch flavour, a very nice pink peppercorn highlight, and subtle sweetness. Win win!

I got an iced strawberry latte (seasonal flavor), and it was so good!! The coffee was very smooth, not too overpowering, and the strawberry was a really nice touch - not too sweet. This is also next to the Quorum, which is an amazing place to do work. Lighting is amazing, so much table space with chargers, and free wifi (password on walls). Can't recommend this coffee shop enough.

I've been going to Elixr for sometime now and I always enjoy getting their Iced Strawberry Oat Milk Matcha as well as their other espresso drinks. The flavor of the strawberry is apparent and goes well with the matcha. The staff have always been friendly here. I also enjoy that there is ample seating right in the area at the Quorum Lounge if you wanted to get some work done. I'll definitely be coming back sometime!

Came here because I was looking for an alternative to sitting and working at Penn and this was right nearby on Market Street. Easy to miss because there is no signage on the outside and is located in the lobby of a larger corporate building. SEATING There is ample and a variety of flexible seating: - a communal table with outlets built into the table - sofas - secluded chairs DRINKS They ran out of the strawberry milk latte, which is what I came for. I got their matcha lavender latte & I don't know why I didn't think of this combo of flavors before. The floral lavender offsets any potential bitterness of the matcha. And as someone who is big into subtly sweet drinks, I appreciated this drink. Great place to work if you're looking for free wifi and to be surrounded by really bright colored furniture/walls.

Hit this place when I was in Nashville on business, coffee is quite exquisite and flavorful as opposed to all the generic chains that I won't mention in this review as to tarnish its credibility. I will definitely go again.

Loved doing some work here. Don't get confused if you can't find it right away as it's hidden inside the 3675 market street building which looks like an office building. It's straight ahead once you head inside though. The day I went the service was nice but I have to say it's better at the location in Rittenhouse. I got the butterscotch pink peppercorn latte and it was fantastic. Very buttery but balanced out by the slight spice of the peppercorns, not to mention it was also very pretty. Great place for getting some work done. There's some small tables with charging stations right by bar as well as accessible bathrooms. But there's also the Quorum, a working space right next to it with even more tables. The building also gets lots of sunshine so it makes being productive less depressing. Also free wifi, what more could you need!

Great little coffee spot with some limited seating when you enter the 3675 Market St building. I tried the strawberry oat milk latte with matcha and it was delicious! It's not a quiet spot to do work since it's in the lobby where a lot of foot traffic is happening, but it's an innovative and new space in the heart of university city.

Bad. Worst matcha latte I've ever tasted, though I suppose most people come here for the coffee. Staff was rude and chatting with their friends while I was trying to get help ‍

This coffee shop is in an office building/apartment building. Their packaging is quite cute. The matcha latte that I had was okay. There is a large study space free and open to the public right next door. However, there's no free WiFi, so you'll have to use your own hotspot. Also no restroom nearby that I could see either.

Iced latte. Go in the doors here and the elixr coffee bar is right there.

Even though you get major hotel lobby coffee bar vibes from this place the drinks are good. I got an iced latte and it was solid. I just wanted something quick in ucity and this was it. The other clientele were nice. For such a weird location, I'm glad it's here so I can grab something tasty. Definitely will be back.

First timers and will definitely be second-timers! The matcha latte was beautiful and tasted the same. My friend, a former barista, loved her latte. Cannot wait to try the coffee for myself

We ordered our drinks on the walk there and we hoped they would be ready when we arrived. When we walked in the time changed to add about 15 min on which was a bit annoying however we were not in a rush so we calmly waited. I got the hot matcha latte and it was really good. I like only a drop of sweetener bc I like to taste the matcha. I like it served temperature hot (not warm)- and this drink arrived exactly the way I like it. Would def come back for another one. My bf got some kind of coffee w cardamom in it (sorry I forget which kind - I'm not a coffee drinker and they all sound the same to me ha). He really enjoyed his drink. He had a BOGO coupon so we each actually got 2 drinks. I planned to take my second one home but the drink was so good I drank both of them ha. Will def be back again.

It's the fanciest looking coffee house I ever visited, there's outside seating which is nice and the inside is lit up with warm yellow lighting throughout, very spacious with tables and wicker like chairs. It seems like a great spot to meet up with a friend or to visit, find a corner read or work. It looks like a family establishment, as I noticed there were children behind the register, a young man, maybe 10 years old took my order and did a great job doing so! Bravo! I purchased a vanilla hot matcha latte and a pistachio milk cake, the total was about $21!!! This price was expensive, visiting establishment like this often is not feasible to my budget but there's so much more I need to try so I'll be back. The matcha was amazing, actually the most authentic I've tried!!! And the pistachio milk cake was delicious, being a person who literally puts milk on cake lol, this was amazing!!! It wasn't too sweet and the pistachio gave balance! The slice is enough to share or split for 2 servings, which is what I did. Bottom line, I'll be back! I'd love to try their coffee and another pastry and possibly sit outside on a nice day. Please visit and enjoy!!!

Avril 50 was a regular stop in my patrol days and I loved walking into the shop. Always the wonderful aroma of brewing coffees and chocolate dancing with other exotic smells and the smells of fine papers and magazines. It always felt to me like stepping from West Philadelphia into a magical pocket of Europe. As it looked exactly the same, I wondered if anything had changed in the past 22 years and as soon as I crossed the threshold, I found that it was the same - like stepping back 22 years, yet somehow I was that much older. The proprietor was still there, still the same and looking no different - something that confirmed my belief that this was a magical and wonderful pocket paradise tucked away on a small West Philadelphia street. A brief catch-up chat, a shopping bag of fine teas and a perfectly brewed double-espresso to takeaway later; I stepped back into the bright Fall sun of West Philadelphia. I found myself smiling as I sipped the espresso, happy that one of the best things for me in that neighborhood has remained unchanged for others to enjoy and to continue to discover. It will not be another 22 years before I make my way back - that is for certain.

I'm still not entirely sure what the shop is supposed to be but it was an experience going there for sure. The coffee is self serve and there are several different selections, each with a short description up on the wall. My boyfriend and I each got a medium (I believe it was $2.25 per) and loved our coffee. Both were tasty and exceptionally strong. I'm not sure if they do anything fancier (lattés, etc) but I doubt it. Nonetheless, if I were a student at penn and needed a coffee this is where I would go.

Ambience was nice, and not too much noise or background disturbances. There's generally a lot of seating here, with ample outlets. I've visited previous times where there hasn't been a lot of free space because this is a student hotspot for nearby Drexel and UPenn. But that's honestly no fault to the cafe itself-- they are pretty much maxing out space without beginning to feel too cluttered and sacrificing the "vibe". Ordered a drip and a English muffin breakfast sandwich. One of my friends also completed the "Google review for a cookie" deal, and we enjoyed a piping hot freshly baked cookie! Overall I'd definitely consider this a place to meet up, or lock in while studying. Just make sure to consider the time of day and time of year academically, as this is a popular student spot.

The take-out counter is right inside the entrance, and it's a bit tight when there are a lot of people. The line was short though and moved quickly, and the barista who took my order was pleasant. I ordered an Iced Biscolatte and then tried to find a place to stand where I didn't feel like I was in the way or crowding the people at nearby tables, which was a challenge. Be prepared to have to move around out of the way of people coming and going and possibly get bumped into as you wait for your order. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my order was ready though based on how busy the cafe was, and I was on my way in less than five minutes after I'd ordered. And the Iced Biscolatte was definitely worth dealing with the crowd! It was delicious! I'll definitely be returning to order it again. It was smooth and creamy and very sweet (and I love a very sweet, dessert-like coffee drink). They also had some delicious looking pastries in the bakery case, so I'm looking forward to trying those on a return visit.
