Tried this pizza because my nephew loves it. The cheese pizza was solid. Meatball pizza was also flavorful. I ordered the high maintenance which is a build your own pizza. It was good, but I wasn't a fan of the caramelized onion sauce. I wanted plain caramelized onions. The cauliflower crust also made it home, but it had a weird sog. Overall, I liked this pizza, but for the gluten free options, I've had better and don't think I'd go back for that crust. read more

Didnt know what to expect. I went looking for Pizza and a beer.and here is where I ended. A small spot open kitchen w a lot of young people making pizza...small like 4-6 tables A 35 mins wait. This is now our favorite pizza spot in Ellicott City! The pizza is fresh, crispy and sooo tasty! Love that you can build your own in a more personal size so my husband and I can both get our favorite toppings. The staff is also super friendly and there is some indoor seating which was nice as we got to enjoy our pizza right away. We will definitely be back! read more

This place has amazing pizza! We've been there a few times now, and it's always great! I like that they are able to customize the pizza toppings. My son likes meat toppings, I am so surprised that they would put mushrooms and peppers on just a couple of slices. Other places only would do half pizza toppings. The service is always nice and helpful. They have a small space to eat in, and you can order online and get it to go also. Wonderful overall, we will be back! read more

Probably have had 10 pizzas from here. All good except yesterday. Ordered early afternoon and The pizza wasn't totally cooked and the pizza sauce was glopped on it. Not very good. I hope they haven't changed pizza chefs. My rating of them went from 5 star to 3 stars. read more

The food is excellent here, but make sure you're getting takeout and eating it sooner than later, because it's best eaten when warm and fresh. This place is one of my go-to local spots ideally for pickup; it's a small joint, so not ideal for eating in. 8.9.22 My husband and I ordered and split a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a Italian Sausage and Spinach Lasagna. My husband really enjoyed the pizza. He would rate it a 8.5 or 9 out of 10 or which is rare. I would give it a 3 out of 5. I thought it was kind of bland. I had to add salt, pepper, and sprinkled cheese. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more if it were a thicker crust as it is served thin. I preferred the lasagna, which he didn't enjoy as much since he doesn't like Italian sausages. Food took a bit long to prepare in the kitchen. There are a few tables inside and on the patio, but it appears most patrons may do takeout. I prefer Ocean Garden Pasta, but this place is really good too. Pizza here is affordable and unique and delicious. I don't expect much in Maryland, so this was a delightful surprise and treat. River House quality has fallen off significantly. Not sure what changed, but the pizza is now barely edible. Last time I was there, I ordered 4 pies, and when I picked them up I had to take them back in and ask them to put them in the oven again because they were soggy and undercooked. Even after that, I had to toss one of the pies when I got home. I'd ordered another time before this, and they just completely forgot to tell me my order was ready and gave me pizza that had been sitting there for who knows how long. I had to toss those too, although I did get a refund. Disappointing because I used to love these pizzas, especially when they served them from their truck at the farmer's market. I like the "not your everyday" toppings choices and how you can get a certain variety and then customize even further. The sauce is zesty and the crust is good. Not overly charred nor big bubbles ( I hate that!) We got two individuals and headed to nearby Centennial Park to eat al fresco. They seem to have a safe carry out protocol during COVID. I'm always searching for new pizza places to try. RIver House Pizza, a new casual pizza eatery, is located off Rt. 40 West, within the same shopping center as Glory Days. I typically order the Plain Jane and customize my toppings. They have a lot of specialty pizzas that sound delicious! Pizza are all cooked in a wood-fired oven which makes all the difference. The crust is superb, thin but chewy and crispy on the bottom. Their toppings are of a high quality with sausage being my favorite. RHP is the best pizza I have ever eaten. I would drive an hour for their pizza. I talked to a coworker and she said they catered her daughter's rustic wedding. Pizza were made on-site at a farm. She raved about them too! read more

The good: friendly staff, excellent crust, great melt on the cheese, fun outdoor seating, easy ordering, some great pizza combos The bad: you are stuck with their pizzas...which isn't terrible but none are very inventive other than the special of the day, no actual bathrooms (portajohns), the white pie was pretty greasy...had to use two napkins per slice to keep it from just sliding down my throat. BEES!!! So many bees! We will probably go back when it is cooler and the bees are gone...I think the idea of sitting outside in a winter coat and eating piping hot pizza at a table is charming. I'm so glad I found river house pizza and I was extra glad when they started delivering. This place can do no pizza wrong. The crust is delicious, sauce dollops add texture, and the toppings are fresh. I also love their specialty pizzas. I recently tried the fiesta. Who would think sour cream and chicken would work on a pizza. But it does abc it's delicious. My husband loves the dry spiced baked wings. They are generous with the blue cheese too.
