Great deli. Delicious food. The service was awesome. Catered a luncheon with 25 people. The pricing was great, they delivered, and it was on time. The bread and cookies were made fresh and the guests loved the assorted sandwiches and homemade potato salad. Located deep in a out of the way industrial park. Can't be seen easily from the street until you pass it. Ample parking. Clean restaurant. Came in last week and tried their veggie sandwich and stuffed avocado. I love squaw bread as well as vegetable sandwiches so whenever I see them offered, I always get them. I ordered it with provolone and added mayo to it as well but, I found it underwhelming. Nothing stood out. The Italian oil was barely noticeable. No vinegar that I could really taste. As for the stuffed avocado, comes with a whole avocado and was perfectly ripe and then stuffed with house made chicken salad and lightly dusted with salt and pepper. It was under seasoned and really needs more then the "dusting" and they have no salt and pepper on the tables. The chicken salad was clearly freshly prepared but, needs more mayo and seasoning. I added more mayo. Today I went back in to try the house made pizza and a cobb salad with homemade ranch. For my pizza, I choose one from their composed pizza list, the vegetable one, but you can also create your own as well. I added garlic butter, pesto, and spinach to mine at additional cost. From the time I ordered, until the time I got the pizza was around 40 minutes, and, the red sauce was forgotten. I asked for some on the side and they gave me some, ice cold, after giving me a hard time. So at the full 1 hour point I packed my 10" personal sized, $14 lunch to the car so that I could dip it into ice cold sauce. The only salad dressing that make is the ranch. By the way, after I ordered, 3 people came in, ordered, ate, and left, in the meantime. They all ordered burgers on what looks like brioche buns, but, they have no burgers on the menu so they must have a secret menu?! FYI: Hours are limited. read more

Came in and had a wonderful lunch. Had the Friday Italian sub special and substituted pastrami for the ham. The sandwich was great. As my wife said about her TBA (Turkey bacon avocado), the sandwich was well made by people who care enough to not just through toppings on bread. All of the ingredients we good quality and fresh. I have now tried several items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Many customers load up on their tasty pizzas but my FAVORITE item is the BBQ steak sandwich. It is similar to a BBQ beef sandwich but soooo much better. I also am a big fan of their pastrami sandwich and I normally do not like pastrami. The customer service is consistently great. I have only done take out but there is a small dining area that is well maintained. They have limited days open - currently Tues to Friday. Google Maps wanted to take me around the back of the building. So keep those things in mind the first time you look them up. read more

Found this place on yelp and dropped in while doing some errands to give it a try. It's kinda tucked away and hidden in the middle of some industrial businesses and little medical places. Looks kinda empty when you walk in. Almost didnt see the register. It wasnt busy when I walked in. I placed an order for a sandwich to-go and it was ready pretty quickly. More people started coming in after I ordered. The sandwich itself was simple (I created my own, so I got what I asked for). Overall, this is a good alternative to making your own. Nothing crazy, just a good sandwich. They do have a menu of specialty sandwiches and salads I will perhaps try next time. read more

Today, we had a Cobb Salad and the Hot Pastrami sandwich. Both were so, so good. This was the first time I had the salad, and I was not disappointed. The pastrami on the sandwich is so tender. The roll is so soft. The employees are always so nice and friendly. I wish they were open evenings or weekends, so for now, it's a treat when I take the day off work. read more

This review is on RiverCrust Deli's service. I called from Michigan on Tuesday to place a lunch order for a 26 person meeting our company was holding in Riverside. I found Rivercrust Deli through Yelp and had no further information about them besides the reviews in Yelp. James did a terrific job taking care of our needs with less than 24 hours notice. He called me back in a timely manner, described the sandwiches, went over the different salad options, and assured me that he would have our lunch delivered on time. It's been a day after our lunch and all the people that attended that lunch have told me that everything was delicious. I was so happy to hear this since I am not there on site. We had a great healthy meal here. My husband, daughter and I stopped in today. My husband was picking up a load at a nearby company. When he was here in the past he would go to another restaurant but the quality has declined there. It was good luck for us. Everyone there was so nice. The tomato bisque was freshly hand made. I really wanted to leave a 5 star review but I couldn't. I have to be honest. The food was good and the fact that I had my sandwich delivered was awesome. As a truck drivers it's hard to get good food when you're driving around. You can't just pull into a drive-thru or park at your favorite restaurant. So the reason why I'm giving four stars is because they skimped out on the meat. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and there was a section where it didn't have meat. And other parts where there was just a little. Seriously you can't do that to hungry people. Another thing I didn't like was that they tried to compensate the meat for mustard seriously who likes that much mustard. I like mustard but that was just tooo much. Overall it was cool to have something to eat since I had forgotten my lunch that day. read more
