I did the mistake of not reading the reviews before taking my truck to this place! It was the closest location to my home and that is where I went, but I must say, I am not surprised at all to see so many negative feedback. I dropped off my truck on a 9/6/2022 and it took them a full week to get to it, I called on 9/13/2022 and finally someone was "working on it". They had no rental car available for me so I had to pay out of my pocket to get a rental car. My truck wasn't "Ready" until 9/15/2022 I say "Ready" because by the time I jumped on the FWY I notice the truck was returned with the same conditions that I had reported. I was already on the FWY when I notice these issues. I called over and over again, must have been about 750 times and no one answered the phone. The service provide kept giving the me "our phones are not working" BS just to avoid talking to me. She then moved the conversation to a text message system and it would take her hours to reply to each one of my messages. RIDICUOUS! She would continue to tell me she was busy with "other customers" like I wasn't one of those customers. Something I found to be funny was that the times I was there the phones would ring and ring and ring again, so the phones did work, just that they don't like picking up. Very Long story short, I took the truck back again the following day, again it took them a full week to get me back my truck. SAME STORY..... I showed up and they tell me they couldn't find anything wrong with the truck. When I asked if anyone had test drive the truck, she said NO, that nobody took my truck out to test drive it to try and see what I was talking about. I reported the truck swaying more than normal when going over bumps. I almost had a car accident a few months back, while driving on the FWY because of this issue. But apparently they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I think the reason why they couldn't find anything wrong was because the truck was left packed in their lot and nobody drove it around. I'm not an expert but things like this don't make sense to me. I also reported an issue with the oil pressure not reading correctly. My check engine light kept going on/off multiple times and since the light went on, the oil pressure continued and still continues to read low. As of this day, it still shows low oil pressure, even after doing a complete oil change. My "advisor" told me this truck is equipped with a dual stage oil pump and that marking low oil is considered "normal" However, this only started happening after the check engine light turned on. I asked, what causes the truck to choose between normal or low reporting, her answer to me was "Not sure, but is normal and there is nothing for us to repair". I also reported that when going in reverse then to drive there is a delay, the truck then clunks into gear. The response was "unable to duplicate customer concert" Again, I am no expert BUT how do you know these answers if you DID NOT TAKE MY TRUCK OUT FOR A TEST DRIVE??? It gets better: I was upset and didn't want to leave the premises without getting an explanation, she got one of the mechanics to go out for a drive with me so we can test drive the truck. Now, the mechanic had me drive the truck.. call me a dork, but don't you want to drive it yourself to see what you feel? To feel how it runs? Maybe it will help get an idea of what I'm complaining about??? But no, I drove the truck around for about 10 mins and dropped him off. His evaluation to me was, "The Truck is Normal, that is how a truck should feel. That is how it feels to go over bumps, and he cant repair the road for me" He went on to say that "they cannot guess-repair anything or work on anything unless it is broken or not working because they will be unable to collect the warranty reimbursement from Chevrolet" That was a good one! I honestly felt so stupid to be there! This is not my fist truck. this is not my first vehicle. I have been driving for over 15 years. I know how a truck runs, I know how a truck should feel going over bumps on the FWY and believe me, it should not be doing what my truck is doing now. I should not feel like you're about to hit the car right next to you while going over a bump. That is NOT NORMAL! I took my truck and left. I am in the process of taking my truck to a different location, hopefully I can find better service. I have not been contacted by anyone ever since. Mr. Garcia ( Testimony) : First and foremost hands down the best Auto dealer I've ever gone too that works with one and goes out there way to make sure you leave there satisfied! Previously , we went to Moss Bros Chrysler , dodge and jeep , which is down the street to get a truck and they gave us a little hard time and it seemed like they didn't really try to get us a truck or try to help us out with the process. We told them I had a big negative equity and I told them that which ever truck paid the highest rebates that I'll take it and the rest of the negative equity I'll just roll it over which was about 10k. Which in the past I did a trade it and had 13k of negative equity and they didn't make a biggie either . But when I told them that they right away said we can't do that no banks will allow us to roll over a 10k negative equity and demanded 10k down payment to even get close to a $900 monthly payment . So my wife and I left because that was a ridiculous number without them even talking about it or even negotiating it with their managers. My wife and I decided to take our business elsewhere and that's when we went to Chevy because they had told me they had a couple trucks that paid good rebates. When I got there Juan received us and I told him everything and what I wanted to do since I had a big amount of negative equity. He told me no problem we have a truck that is paying high on rebates and will take care of that! He was phenomenal with us , I told him I wanted to roll over the left over equity and he said no worries that is all possible . He never asked for 10k down or any other silly number. He was amazing the whole time we were there! We felt super comfortable with him as if we knew him for years, he was outgoing throughout this experience. He also went out his way to explain the whole details on the truck and also set up Onstar and other cool features that the truck came with! Hands down a man that deserves all business because he went out his way to do whatever he could to get us that truck even when the bank didn't approve us for the full amount he still went out his way with his managers to work some magic and was able to get us the truck! These guys are amazing people to work with ! I will recommend all family, friends , neighbors, to go with Juan for trucks or cars! My respect for him is high up there! Great Experience ever! I hate dealing with auto dealer sales persons, but this guys are the exception. Orlando Bautista and Raul Melchor makes my day, no my day... my year! I began negotiating online and by text with Orlando first, the purchase of a sitck shift Camaro RS 2021 model for my son. Orlando was honest with me since the first contact. No BS scam tactics, and able to give me the final price (OTD numbers) up front --to avoid surprises-- and I like it. I was looking a new vehicle for my son, and ended buying 2 cars. A nice Camaro RS with manual Transmission 2021 model, and a beautiful Red Corvette C8 Stingray with Mid-engine for me, my dream car So far. Raul was the Manager in charge that day, and he gave me an excellent price on the 2021 Corvette Stingray C8 LT3 that I cannot refused. He also paid a top price for my Trade-In, a 2021 Supra. I can't get a call back from them to answer even the simplest questions and the financial department is unorganized and couldn't proDuce copies of documentation for the corporate office when they requested documentation for the buy back of said truck I recommend buying elsewhere and buying a different brand all together as my 2023 Chevrolet Colorado truck died in July with less than 500 miles on it and it is still to this day sitting in the service department... it is October 31st And no parts in to repair it yet read more

If I could leave "NO STARS" I would! Service department is a joke. After making an appointment for a free oil change for my sons first new car we purchased a few months ago (he's 16) we were told that it would take no more than an hour to complete as we had an "appointment". Ok, that's understandable and fair. As a lesson for my son, we sent him alone to deal with his first oil change... should've been relatively easy. Well, 3 hours later it's still wasn't done and all of the service people went out to lunch. No one informed him of any delays or changes in the timeline. No communication, no apologies, just an "oh well" attitude when asked about it. We let them know that we were dissatisfied with their lack of communication and service, and would never be coming back here due to lack of communication. Their answer was "ok". Listen, I get it, things happens we all make mistakes and things happen in life but it's how you FIX those mistakes is what matters the most! Next time I'll just pay a jiffy lube the $50 for an oil change and save my time. read more

The service department at Riverside Chevrolet lacks tremendously. I've brought my 2022 Chevy Tahoe High Country in 3 separate times to troubleshoot and repair the Blind Spot Warning System and rear Criss Traffic Alert System that is not working. The first time, they stated it was in need of a new battery. Replaced the battery (which was in fact faulty), but the problem persisted. Second time I took it back, the check engine light tripped. There was a faulty coolant valve the needed replaced. They replaced this and apparently a module for the Blind Spot Warning System. They had my Tahoe from June 6th to July 7th. They indicated that the issue(s) has been resolved. The issue was not corrected and the Blind Spot Warning does not illuminate, nor does the Rear Cross Traffic Alert work (same sensors). On Saturday 7/22, I made an appointment for Wednesday 7/26. When I showed up, the conversation went south and Chevrolet took no ownership for a defective part.... Still under my 100,000 mile warranty (by about 80k miles). I shared that this needs to be resolved. This is a $100k car that has a fairly common feature not working properly and the technician never validated that the concern was solved. He stated that nearly all cars today are $100k and it was a moot point (really?!) and that his technician was incredibly smart, but that technology is coming into these cars faster than the techs are learning (hasn't this tech been in cars for nearly a decade now?). He then told me that he couldn't work on my car until Monday because there were too many vehicles in queue even though I made my appointment 4 days ago and that he can see me Monday 7/31. I was also told that I'm welcome to take my vehicle somewhere else. When I called GM support, they looked into my service history and there are no notes indicating that this technician reached out for product/software support with the GM team, as is commonly done with items that may be more complex. Overall, just a very frustrating experience and a vehicle with features that are unusable after several months of seeking support. read more

I purchased my 2019 Chevy Bolt from them a few years back, and while the initial interaction went poorly, they did right by me in the end. With the Bolt now under recall, I elected to do a vehicle swap through GM. However, GM requires a dealership to facilitate the swap. Basically, it would just involve them taking my order for a new GM vehicle, and processing the paperwork on behalf of GM once the vehicle is produced and delivered to the dealership. Since it is a transaction between me and GM, the vehicle does not affect their allocation in any way. GM even pays them (albeit a small amount) to facilitate it. When my GM rep contacted them, they refused to host the swap. I get that they don't make much money by doing it, but it would be nice if they showed some loyalty toward a previous customer. It's clear to me now that they only care about the sale and don't care about showing any goodwill after that. read more

Don't bother calling the service department! Half of the numbers I found for service did not work and when you ask to be transferred you get disconnected. If you do happen to get through to the answering machine and leave a message they don't call back. Even if you get a human they don't call back. My new chevy Silverado 1500, trail boss had the engine light come on at just 6k miles. My truck also had an issue with my ac air compressor not working and failing to blow cold air. Fortunately I was assigned to service advisor Tanya C, whom was very professional and friendly. I was worried the truck wouldn't be fixed on time to drive out to Texas to visit my brother (active in the military), but Tanya was very empathetic and understanding. She kept me updated constantly and addressed all the concerns and even went out of her way to do extra software updates. Honestly horrible experience, I went in at 7am with an appointment to get my oil change and get something else checked out. Throughout the day I tried messaging the Service advisor on any updates on my vehicle because he had told me they might need to keep it in for another day to do a diagnostics on it. I tried call him 5x and the service department 5x and no response. I guess my complaint would be lack of communication and lack of common courtesy to the customers concerns about their vehicle. I also know this isn't the first time someone has complained about communication skills. My recommendation level would be -1/10. At least for the service department. Maybe I'm just extra but come on you base your service on customer trust and loyalty but can't even bother to give someone a response. It's kind of pathetic. read more
