Enjoyable time on a good golf course. Glad that you switched the nines from previously. Number 18 is a good finishing hole. Greens in good shape and roll true. Surprised that there wasn't a single person in the restaurant when we finished at 5 PM on a Sunday. No umbrellas out so it was too hot to eat outside. Also surprised at gas carts. May want to consider switching next time your lease is up. read more

We had a great experience here the other day. The greens at this course were among the best I have seen at a relatively inexpensive course--quick and true. I can't say enough about them. They were awesome. (Early July) Flying down from Seattle for the round to the Chehalis airport (KCLS), it was fun to have our own personal stairway to the course from the airport. I finally got to play the course after hearing such positive reviews the past couple of years. It is a great value - premium course with reasonable green fees. The staff is courteous and helpful. The course is in good condition and has challenging (tight) but fair fairways. The greens are awesome - smooth and fast. My golf group wants to play it at least once a month even though it is an hour and a half drive. read more

A great setting with a great view during the spring/summer/early fall seasons. The staff is super friendly and takes the time to get it right. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to unwind and enjoy a good meal. Also a great date venue. They often times have live music or comedy nights. Always a good time. The golf course is on the shorter side, so leave the driver in the bag, but make sure your putter is on point. A fun course that's easy to walk. read more

I want to give this place only three stars, but I'm adding a fourth for the bartender. I'll explain later. I ate in the bar. Apparently you can eat downstairs (which really looks more like a "relaxing room with tables" than a restaurant) or in the bar. Now, the reason I wanted to do three stars: I ordered the Grilled Salmon in Citrus. Sounded interesting. 1. Ok, the salad you got with it was a complete joke. I would only award two stars for the salad. It consisted of: Lettuce, croutons, a slice of cucumber (wow....), and a small spit of grated cheese and....... WHOA THERE, is that a slice of pickled beet I see peeking under the salad? Let's just say, it was a BARELY QUALIFYING salad. 2. The salmon was fantastic! Not worth the $20 price (I would have paid $15 for it), but it was delicious, and served with cooked sliced zucchini and onions. This was worth FIVE stars. Thus, I would have split it and gave three stars, but something the bartender did kind of tickled me. My total bill was $21.60 to include sales tax. I handed the bartender $25 (which means $3.40 back to me) and said, "I don't need the change." The bartender gave me $3 exactly. I again said, "I don't need the change." The bartender turned red and kind of giggled and said, "Oops, I thought that 'change' meant the COINS!" I loved this, it showed the bartender was humble and non-pretentious about whether or not he got a tip. Thus, I'm awarding the fourth star for this. There is an RV park nearby that is part of this establishment. I stayed at the RV park and walked over. read more

Food is really hit or miss. I've had really good steak, and almost uneatable. Really nice bar upstairs Service is slow, but the atmosphere is nice and plenty of outdoor seating. And the golf course is great, super fast greens, well maintained. read more

I drove all the way from Belltown to this wonderful course, and I was not disappointed. Joe was super friendly when he checked me in...the greens were in top shape...and I love the par 4s....not too long....but beware of the water holes....the scenery is amazing....but I was just surprised that they allow 6 people to play...most of the golf courses I play on allow a max of 4 people...but all in all, it was worth the drive, and I will definitely be back! read more

I would not play this course again. There were no yardage sticks on any holes. You had to blindly guess yardage on every shot. Also this round was too expensive. I prepaid (over $80 for two golfers) but there was no option online to reserve a cart. All it said online was first come first serve. The website didn't say anything about an extra fee for the cart. I tried to call prior to the tee time 5 separate times to ask about the cart availability and no one answered. When we show up our tee time was bumped back because my playing partner wasn't there early. Yet everything says not to show up early. We were ready to play at our tee time and that was not honored. When I asked about the carts I was charged an additional $40. The starter also had us tee off on the back 9 first, but didn't say anything about that either. When trying to guess the yardage, it was pretty much impossible when you didn't know what hole your on. In the end, this course is too expensive considering there is no yardage sticks and it sits next to a trailer park. read more

Just fantastic! Even after a very dry summer, the course was well-maintained and fun to play. Some very long par 5 fairways and a couple of challenging par 3s. The hospitality was excellent. No "indifferent" staff members-- everyone from the pro shop to the restaurant were friendly, happy, and courteous. Little touches-- i.e., free coffee, quick food service on the 10th tee turn, and helpful marshalls really made it a cut above. Truly a "rural" golf course with beautiful vistas. Not too far to drive from Portland or Seattle-- just about midway for meeting up (1 of 4 from Seattle, the other 3 in our foursome from Portland). One recommendation: a drink cart out on the course. Easily could have paid for itself with heat and long round we played. read more

We had a great time staying at the RV park at this golf course. The site was fine, flat with W/E/S. The golf course was very good. Our burger at the restaurant was excellent. The price of the RV site was a bit high, but it gave us a discount on the golf course. That made it worthwhile. Everyone was very friendly. read more

I had to travel hour and half from Vancouver, wa to try a different course. Let's say it was worth it, greens were in perfect conditions, best I've seen in this area. The whole course was excellent conditions and challenging too. Friendly service all around will be back again. read more

I have played here infrequently for a close to 15 years, and there have been steady improvements in the facilities, but at the same time, they have kept there greens fees low. It is a great course and keeps getting better. On this particular weekend, the fairways and greens were fast.  They have a nice bar & grill for a round of beer after that, including great outdoors seating. Can't comment on the food, as I have not had dinner there. read more

This was our first time coming to Riverside Golf Club. What attracted us was that they also have about 40 full hook-up RV sites with concrete pads and 50 amp service. With all the COVID time at home, we were ready to get away, even if just for a couple of days and being able to play some golf was a great bonus! We found the facilities to be everything we hoped for, the people very friendly and accommodating, and the course in near perfect condition. We had no issues maneuvering our 34' 5th-Wheel onto the site, everything was in good condition and we really enjoyed our stay. Right across the street is a trail along the General Aviation airport that goes for miles, so our dog was happy too. One very cool bonus was that as a guest in the RV site, we were provided a complimentary gas golf cart. Nice! We played two rounds in two days and enjoyed a special twilight rate by teeing off after 4:00pm. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the future. It took SO long to get our food. Like almost an hour... Which I could understand if they were slammed but it was a weekday afternoon and there were only two other tables with people. It's also kind of spendy for the quality of burger I got. However, I ordered a basket of sweet potatoe fries and not only were they DELICIOUS, the serving size was HUGE, so that's a plus. read more

I expected a run of mill muni...got there 6pm Saturday night with maybe 2.5 hours before sunset. Played nine alone, no one in front or following in just over an hour, so took on the back nine...at muni course green fees. Greens were faster than pace of play, and in as beautiful of condition as country club greens want to be! Very interesting layout (deceiving in places for a newcomer, but one figures to lose shots first time on any unfamiliar course...should have played with some locals, or a caddie!). Trees everywhere to keep one honest, and nervous...and enough water to make a flat course interesting. Great staff! Friendly and helpful. Tricky to find the place from town, but that adds to the "hidden gem" reputation this course has so well earned! I will play here whenever I'm in the area, and recommend it highly. read more

Being a local this is one of our favorite nice weather hangouts but after tonight's experience I am not sure when we will be back. Watching the general manager walk past our DIRTY table multiple times and not pick up the dishes until we asked was the first in a long list of troubles tonight. That was followed up with our waitress a.) not asking for our drink order for 15+ minutes b.) Not coming back with them for another 15 and c.) Not putting our order in for ANOTHER HALF AN HOUR! So at the one hour mark I went inside to ask about our dinner only to hear the waitress asking the cook about it and blaming the kitchen for 'being busy'. Funny thing is... the cook looked right at her and said 'we only got that order 5 minutes ago'. Needless to say we got up and left. Service has ALWAYS been something to be desired here but with limited options in this area people keep coming back. One would think that they would want to find waitstaff and management that knew what they were doing and how to run a restaurant. If I could give less than one star I would. read more

Ate here twice over the weekend as we were in town for a wedding. We also stayed in the RV park. The golf course is on of my favorites. The food is fabulous! Best corned beef hash that I have ever eaten! Only problem is that the service was very slow while the restaurant had only a few diners. Would recommend Riverside to anybody but they need to step up the service. read more

This is a sweet, affordable place to have a nice dinner. My partner and I shared a Harvest Cobb Salad (warm chicken breast, apples, walnuts, avocado, roasted sweet potatoes over super fresh local greens) and a blackened salmon entree. Both were fantastic. The service here is HORRIBLE. We have tried to eat here 4 or 5 times- always the same. We've gone for drinks on the deck in summer and waited two hours for service. Joke. Ok in the spring and summer months you can sit outside and take in the lovely views while enjoying a nice cocktail or beer. The bartender Krystal is very attentive and funny. She makes a amazing jalapeño margarita, or a super refreshing Moscow mule. The food is great too. I love the deep fried green beans and the Asian salad! Came here with my family for a special occasion dinner, and was not disappointed. The waitress was friendly and prompt with taking our drink orders as soon as we sat down. I was feeling adventurous and knew the chef from his previous experience at Boccata and was a huge fan of his cooking, so I told the waitress to have the chef make me whatever he felt like making that evening, and holy crap! I was given a huge portion of what he called "seafood chowder." It was cooked amazingly well, and seasoned perfectly. I could barely finish half of it! My boyfriend got the 12 oz. sirloin and he was very pleased with the results. I can't say for lunch, but if you want a higher quality dinner then the normal fair in Lewis County, this is definitely the place. Skip all those crappy places near the freeway and head down here! It may cost you a little more, but you seriously will not be disappointed. read more
