So today had to have been my worst dealership experience and fastest entrance and exit from a dealer in my 30+ years of buying cars. I want to thank Riverside Honda how you treated me as I will never step foot back on your lot for anything, not even parts. I am in the market for a 2018-2019 Honda Civic EX-L for my daughter. I already knew the dealer did not have anything on the lot however since I work just down the street and pass this dealership every day I decided to stop in as I wanted to talk to the used car manager to see if he or she has a list they can put my name and phone number on in the event such a car arrives on their lot. Once I walked in the door I was greeted by a sales agent. I told him I would like to speak to the used car manager. He wanted to know what it was about and said he would go pass the message on. I did not feel I needed to tell him as he would then say I was his customer. I was not buying anything today as that particular car was not currently at this dealership. So when I did not tell him why I wanted to talk to the used card manager he grabs his manager who made the visit less comfortable and it was clear they had no interest in helping. I did tell him why I was there but then it all turned sideways very quick. It did not need to be like this, all you had to do was have a little personality and let me speak with the used car manager. This whole encounter was so uncomfortable and none of them seemed to give a care as I walked out the door less than 3 minutes from entering. What a waste of my time, no waste on theirs as they had no customers at that time anyhow. I will be purchasing this car when I find exactly what I am looking for but 100% certain it will not be here even if one shows up on your lot. read more

I do have to say they had 4 cars ahead of mine, but the problem here that they have A Porter checking in cars meanwhile all the service advisors are infront of a computer or eating, reading books etc... I did purchase a car from this dealership (the financial person) I did get all the paperwork done with was really informative and helpful. !!! However times past and every time I call to ask questions about service or something concerning me about my car - because I am a first time buyer - It is always the same thing - rude , aggressive, impatient customer service, happened to me back to back I was also warned by other staff and people how they treat customers. Which for a Huge Business should not be tolerated! We spend our hard earned money and put time aside to get there or make a call to feel discouraged, disappointed, and Bullied. Pretty bad experience. Came for oil change and safety recal Tuesday 8/12/25. The next day Wednesday 8/13/25. going to work I had to pull off freeway as splash shield began draging/ scraping going 65 mph. I called Riverside Honda and left voicemail around 3pm wednesday 8/13/25 and did not get call back until the following day, Thursday 8/14/25 around 1:00pm where I was asked to bring car in but could not cause I work swing shift 2-1030pm Tuesday-Saturday and was already leaving for work. brought back Friday 8/15/25 they just looked at it and said I needed to come back Saturday cause they didn't have the hardware that was missing. All of this to wait around on my 2nd drop off for about a hour and a half and today which is Saturday 8/16/25 my 3rd drop off for another hour and a half. Visit 3 times in one work week. Also was told I should avoid potholes like it was my fault the shield came down even when the advisor told me it was missing hardware. This is my 2nd oil change, never have I had any work done but besides Honda. Moving forward I asked advisor to take pictures of splash shield for any damage and pictures of hardware to be correctly installed. read more

I had the misfortune of dealing with a salesperson named Gabby. She was incredibly condescending and rushed me to drive to the dealership immediately, even though I told her I might be a while due to traffic and living far away. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by making her wait. Her tone was very rushed and arrogant. I was very put off by her lack of interpersonal skills and empathy for my safety because driving far away in traffic is dangerous, but Gabby didn't care and pushed me to get there faster. Gabby's lack of concern for my safety made me question her trustworthiness. I ended up not buying a car from this dealership because of Gabby's terrible customer service. So, came here to help my sister-in-law purchase a new car. Why go way out to Riverside? Was told this place has the best deals....we'll see! This Honda dealer is located within an auto mall, along with numerous other dealerships. Walking inside, the place was a newer, more modern building. Place was open & airy, clean and a pretty nice waiting area. A big plus was the drink area, 2 different coffee machines, a soda fountain machine and your ice and water dispenser, all free and unlimited. Also, 2 thumbs up on the great working air conditioning, on this 107 degree day. So all in all, a fairly good experience, friendly and helpful sales associates, and my Sister-in-law did get a pretty good deal on a new car. This place could be worth the long drive to Riverside. 4 stars from me. read more

I just purchased a Honda private party, and for the first service wanted to find a good dealership to work with over the next few years (owned my last car for 11 years and always took it to Crown Toyota). Made a 7 am appointment for an oil change, etc., and was there at 7:03. A gentleman comes to the window, gets my particulars and suggests I wait inside for an advisor to call me. I waited....and waited. At 7:20I approached the cashiers and explained I had been here now for 15 minutes, there are 8 other people people also waiting, did a service advisor call in sick? They responded everyone is here and this is normal. Just WAIT, and someone will be with me. I already drove over from Corona, need to get this done.... So I waited. After watching 4 people who had come in after me be called (one of which had already left the advisors office), and thinking my paperwork had been misplaced, I approached the cashiers again and expressed my concern. Their response (say it with me)... just wait and someone will be with me. I waited another 5 minutes, then asked them to bring my car up, and left. At 7:33 I get a phone call from the service advisor, who was completely unaware that my vehicle and I were not on the premises. When I explained the fiasco, he was generous enough to offer me the coupon price for my oil change (likely the same price I would have gotten in the first place as a new customer). If you are okay with this level of non-service, I am sure they do good work and the location is super clean. And while I don't need my ass kissed, I don't have time to stand around watching others who come in after me be served while I go ignored. read more

I could tell the difference from the beginning with a conversation about a car I was interested in over the phone with manager Derek and upon arriving to their location with Ron (sales). My experience of being heard and well taken care of was a testament to what I always heard on the radio/tv: "Happy Honda" culture. The online ads were honored and my time was also not wasted. Having a newborn, I disclosed that my time was limited so Derek and Ron made everything as efficient as possible for me and my family (a big thank you to both!). When I returned to pick up an item that had just arrived as part of my leased vehicle, I felt welcomed again by Ron and the rest of the staff working that day (1/4/25). My car got a flat tire and it didn't have the wheel lock. When you take your car in for service like a tire rotation make sure you get all of the parts back. I had to pay out of pocket to get my car towed to a different Honda. I missed an entire day of work. Worker was speaking to me like I didn't know where the wheel lock would be. Very unprofessional and dismissive. They were then trying to sell me a wheel lock kit when it was their mistake for me not having it in the first place. read more
