The bubble the owner said would go away but it is actually blue lint left over from their towels

I wish there is a no star option. Horrible place. This is the most horrible tint shop. They had to redo the driver side window three times and still couldn't get it right. A lot of bubbles and blue fabric from their cloths. Had a bubble in the passenger front and was told it needed to cure. I took it back again and they once again said it needed to dry where in reality there is blue fabric in there. Owner said you can keep looking at the window and not find defects. He also said "if I would've known your this type of customer I would not have taken the job" get the job done right the first time and there would be no issues. Don't waste your money here. They don't even stand behind their work or lifetime warranty. Needless to say they didn't provide a service they charged for so I am putting a claim for this with my credit card company. Horrible work sloppy and no customer service

This is the spot to go to, I called to get a quote on my 2025 Acura Integra and Sammy he was so easy to talk to & had great customer very well spoken & got an appointment the same day. Went to RPAT and everyone there had a great attitude, service was remarkable. My vehicle was done in a timely manner . I was so impressed how the tint made a difference on my Acura and they did a great job. I been getting lots of compliments. I do recommend this spot , very affordable & great people. I have gotten 2 of my cars tinted here and both experiences were amazing! The owner is nice and easy to talk to, he communicated very effectively. I got my entire car tinted and it looks great. The prices were low and affordable. The availability was also very open, I called in the morning and he got me in right away. I have been taking my vehicles to Ahmad and Sammy for almost 10 yrs now. They are the absolute best. Clean, fast effective. Cost is reasonable. Wouldn't go any where else. These guys are the best.

I couldn't reccomend this place enough. Ahmad is such a honest man and makes you feel like you can trust him with your car. I was anxious about tinting since this is my first car but he eased the stress i had. To my middle eastern folks Ahmad and his workers felt like they were your 3mo's. they're so nice and kind. They even offered their car for my father and I to use, so we didn't have to sit in the heat. they're customer service is AMAZING.

I came here about 3 years to get my C5 corvette tinted all around and they did a great & quick job. That tint has lasted without any troubles. Now today I came in to see if they could get an office window tinted for me & although it's not what they specialize in (office tint) Ahmad was able to help me out for an affordable price. He went out of his way & did a great job! Ahmad is upfront & honest. I definitely recommend this place to anyone needing window tint. read more

I recently bought a car and an employee at the dealership -while taking the paperwork off- tore a large chunk out of the tint. They sent me over to this tint place to speak with Ahamed about getting it fixed. He was super busy, but looked at it and said "I'll take care of it right now." He pulls my car in, takes care of it quickly and beautifully and I'm on my way. And their beautiful shop cat kept me company! read more

I've had all my cars (+10) tinted at this shop and have been referring friends/family to "R.A.D." since the mid 90's. I have always received great service and top quality tint for a very fair price.....Just recently I had a 2014 Toyota Camry and 2014 Toyota Avalon tinted for only $260 and as always....VERY SATISFIED!.!.!.! I've NEVER had tint peel, fade, or bubble in nearly 20 years. Unlike those cheap tint jobs advertised for $99, which start to fade and turn purple or bubble in less than 12 months. Highly Recommend ask for Sammy. read more

This is the second time I bring one of my vehicles to R.A.D. The reason why I came for a second time is because I brought my Malibu in 2010. 4 years later, no bubbles, no peeling nor cracking. I recently brought my Chevy Volt to have all the windows tinted, they don't care if you're tinting 5 windows or 10 windows (as my car does), they will do them all with care without ripping you off. They took approximately 2 hours, I was able to watch a movie in their lobby and the staff were all very friendly, approachable and courteous. Upon completion of me vehicle, I'm impressed once again and happy I came back to RAD, where they guarantee their work! Look around, but I'm pretty sure you won't get the job done with the same quality and price. read more

I've been coming to this place for years this is my 4th car having tinted with Sammy and they are the best. Tint is great it's not the cheap low quality tint and the work they do is perfect with great pricing as well. They treat everyone like family and have great personality. I just got my BRAND NEW TeslaModel 3 back from Riverside Performance Auto Tint. The car was flawless until they did my tint job today. Right along the window ledge, they scratched the black paint trim (where it meets the window.) Several places along the bottom of the window were scratched where the technician ran his squeegee on the outside window during the fitting process. How do I know? Because I watched him do it to another car. No masking tape, or other protection used to keep his metal squeegee from damaging the trim! I noticed this immediately and brought it to the owner's attention. He was unwilling to take any responsibility. I can't even believe it! This was the 4th car that they tinted for me over the years. I'm a repeat customer! If they had tried to make the situation right, I wouldn't be writing this review right now but the owner insisted that they couldn't have done the damage because they use no metal tools. Obviously, that was a lie. I watched his tech use a blade and a squeegee with a metal spine! If you have a gorgeous car - don't take it to this tint shop. It's shocking how unprofessionally this owner treated me. He's lost my business for life! read more

After reading other reviews, I took my car in for tinting. It was the best experience and my car looks great. I was given choices for my tint level and a very fair price. I dropped my car off and returned several hours later to pick it up. I recommend doing this rather than waiting. This place has been in business for almost 30 years which says to me they know what they're doing. Highly recommend. read more

Got two cars tinted here so far and it won't be my last! The quality of work is amazing and the price is unbeatable. I just bought a new car so decided to pop up with no appointment. The owner greeted me quickly, gave me a quote and was able to get to my car right away, even though he was working on a vehicle as I got there. The owner is a great dude, he remembered me even 2 two years later when I brought the 2nd car back...there's a reason he's been here for 29 years! I was so excited to get my windows tinted after buying my first non-mom car in 28 years. I checked…read morereviews here on yelp and received quotes from 3 vendors. I chose Mikes because they had the most thorough response and seemed really professional. However, three visits later, I have had the worst experience with the Riverside location. I chose the top of the line ceramic tint and paid $1,500. It was a lot but I wanted the best since I knew I would not buy another car in 10 or more years. The initial install was pleasant enough. I asked questions regarding a couple of bubbles I saw before I left and was assured by Erick that they would disappear after the moisture evaporated. Some did, lots did not. (See initial install photos) I went back to have the back and rear windows redone. The bubbles were worse on the back and on one of the triangle windows. (See 1st reinstall showing dust particles and bad cuts pics) Also, the clarity in the rear window was poor. (See light glares in rear window pic) I was told that it could be due to an astigmatism or the defroster lines. What?! Thinking that the 3rd time would be the charm I went back again for another fix. This time it seems they just made a complete mess of the backseat, the floor mats and carpet top behind the seats. This is a new car. It was pristine when I gave it to them. (See pics of goo and backseat mess). Also, there are still lots of dust bubbles along the back window worse than the second install . (see 3rd install pics which was Sat. July 12, 2025). I don't know what to do anymore. I spent so much money and each time I bring my car back I'm told, "this never happened before" only to leave with it looking worse! I'm beyond frustrated. It's supposed to be a 10 year warranty but I don't have it in me to keep going back wasting my time and energy. They didn't bother to walk the car after each install except the time that I asked and was assured that things would evaporate. I even walked back in after the third install and the front counter was empty. I just left and saw the backseat damage once I got home. I would never recommend this business to anyone. My daughter, my husband and my son were looking to get their cars done. They will be looking elsewhere.

I was referred from one of colleague at work as I was impressed of tint on his vehicle. I just picked up my new Rivian and needed to get this vehicle tinted as it's basically a fishbowl. I messaged the shop and Jorge replied back immediately. I texted him what I wanted and he quoted me a great price. The best thing about this shop is that they work on the weekend as it's hard for me to take off time from work to drop off the Rivian. Jorge and the team worked with my drop off schedule and had it done at the time promised even with the issue they had to redo the windshield. They kept me posted on the timeframe and professional. Me being the biggest OCD found my vehicle to be cleaner than I first brought it in that morning. I have used this shop for over 15 years I live in Mission Viejo and travel all the way to Riverside to use this shop. I got my dads windows tinted in 04 and in 2015 the tint started coming off in one of the corners I called the shop to see what they could do for me and the owner reminded me about the lifetime warranty and changed out the tint for me for FREE not only that when you use cheap tint you notice it will start to fade when they put the new tint on my driver window it looked exactly like the other windows that were done over a decade ago it shows that they use top notch quality tint. If you are looking for a tint shop where they are friendly, fair in price , and use quality product look no further. read more

Stay away from this place ladies!!!!!! There's this guy there with semi long/shaggy hair with beeeeeatyyyy eyes who thinks its ok to talk about female customers in spanish thinking they wont understand his disgusting remarks, and calls every chick 'beautiful girl'. Had my windows tinted here about less than a month ago and the film is already lifting not only that but had so many dust bubbles left in the film that I thought would go away but didn't, had them redo my driver side window, but looks worse, they half assed that window, looks like dog shit, crazy how they charging over 300$ for this kind of "quality" work. read more

Amhad knows what he is doing! All of his employees treated me with respect and courtesy, and ensured my needs were met when it came to tinting my car. They even had me come out to the shop and see if the visor tint was the right level for me. My family has used them for years, and we plan on continuing to use them! This guy is a lier. Took my show car there ended up with a huge dent in my car. Won't admit it and cameras everywhere and would not show the film. Stay away. Not to mention car left dirty with all the water streeks and scratches. Very poor and have no more respect for them read more
