From the receptionist to the medical assistant and the lady who performed my X-ray, everyone was friendly, helpful, and smiling, which made the visit very comfortable. Barry Graeme was absolutely amazing. He took the time to thoroughly discuss my condition, explained everything clearly, and answered all my questions. After that the Riverside Family Physicians have taken care of me. I had no idea what bad shape my body was and still is, and they are helping me navigate through it all. And there is a lot, I mean a lot of doctors appointments to keep track of. All of the staff from the Call the Car to the phone center, receptionist, nurses, doctors, interns are so good at what they do. Not only that, they have good bedside manners. They are always ready to help and very knowledgeable. I am so surprised at how nobody loses their cool. My team (there are many) that I deal with weekly are awesome. I look forward to my visits. I have referred some people to RFP. Thus location us nice but there is also a location at 4310 Orange that might be closer. I'm not sure they offer all the services there though. I've been seeing Dr. Chen for over a year as my Dr. was not comfortable prescribing any pain medication even though I have been on it for over 19 years. My last appointment was in December. I was supposed to have one in Jan 26th, however I was called and told that I would not be able to get one until March so they gave me a refill till then. April comes and no appointments. I called twice to let them know I hadn't been seen, and my medications were nearly depleted. I was told that they best they could do was give me an appointment July 15th. I explained that one of my medications side effects was a mood booster, and that I have been warned multiple times, by multiple doctors not to stop it suddenly. Well that didn't matter to the scheduling department. July 15th was the best she would do for me. This staff happily let and my family suffer though the misery of the withdrawal symptoms that led to 2 urgent care and an emergency visit. Again Dr. Chen is amazing. Scheduling staff couldn't give a care if you died.
