A great find. The store is a throwback to a different era, maybe the 1960's? No pretense, just good, friendly service and moderate prices. And knowledge. I dragged my errant vacuum into the tiny shop. Several years ago, I had bought it refurbished, or so Best Buy said, but it really never worked as a decent Miele upright should. Since I already had one exactly like it, I knew something was wrong. I was just too lazy to figure out why. I had tried replacing the bag and filters with no improvement. So, first thing he did was unscrew the hose at both ends. Oh my! It was plugged full of foul dirt and dog fur. But the real culprit was a whole chapstick and the lid that had separated and were stuck sideways in the hose. The dirt spilled all over his rug. He reassembled it, plugged it in, and proceeded to vacuum my dirt up with my vacuum. It happily purred and sucked like a champ. He then tossed the Chapstick and its lid in the trash, but let me keep the dirt. I paid him $20 and walked out a happy woman. You just won a new customer. Thanks! read more

I brought in for repair my $400 Henry canister vacuum that I bought 1 year ago on Amazon. John very honestly told me that I should pursue the warranty with the company because he didn't want to invalidate the warranty on such an expensive machine by tinkering with it. He talked me out of giving him money. That's an honest man. I asked about vacuums I could use in the interim. He showed me a Sanitaire canister that was a much simpler and lighter machine than the Henry. I walked out of the shop got into my car and reconsidered. I went back in to learn more about the Sanitaire. He explained all the attachments and how to keep it running well. And he said I would have a warranty with him for 2 years. I liked the idea of having local warranty service and decided to get it. John was also very personable and kind. So even though my trip there didn't result in the repair for my vacuum that I initially wanted, I was very impressed with this small business. read more

I took my vacuum in for repair because the vacuum was no longer working on the carpet, only the tile. The gentleman that greeted me (owner's brother) asked me a few basic questions and was able to resolve the issue within seconds! Be sure to check your vacuum for a reset button. As a result, there was no charge!! Love that the business has been family run for decades! He was so nice and I felt so comfortable there! I don't usually vacuum my house but have someone here now forcing me to pick things up and clean so I discovered that my Oreck wasn't working and smelled funny. I brought it in to this place and the owner found that it was clogged and needed a new belt. He had the machine completely unclogged and the belt replaced within a few minutes as his dog watched him work and now it's working as good as new. I'm not thrilled that I'm going to have to vacuum now but at least I have a quality, reliable machine that gets the job done quick. Fast, reliable service and only $20. As a side note, I recommend calling first. As another reviewer noted at the present time, the website and phone number listed by Yelp are wrong. I came here to write a review for this business as I was so pleased with the service. But I see anything I could write would be redundant since every other reviewer holds the same opinion. They are a fantastic resource for qualified vacuum repairs. I was looking at new ones on line and figured replacement was inevitable. But just before I hit that "buy now" button I thought I'd give repair a shot since the vacuum still had a good motor and good suction. They turned it into a new vacuum, replacing the worn out broken plastic parts with new ones. I got basically a new vacuum for the price they quoted up front. I brought my Shark vacuum in because I had accidentally sucked up a produce bag and it stopped working. He took a look at it and showed me where the bag was caught up (it sucked up into a trap door where one of the filters sits). He also showed me where one of rollers is missing! I didn't even know I was missing a roller! He took his time with the vacuum and and the end didn't even charge me a dime! I am so thankful and he restored my hope for humanity today! read more

Outstanding service by an expert in vacuums. I have had the pleasure of having parts and repairs completed by this shop. The owner is as nice as can be. Gave me great advice on my vacuum and the repairs that were needed. He even checked the condition and told me that I should repair not replace my vacuum. Who does that? He told me that he could put a belt on it, but it would only last about 2 weeks and I would be right back up there, for it to be fixed again. I had my Kirby vacuum serviced and I highly recommend this company. John ordered the necessary parts, notified me once the parts had arrived and arranged to have the Kirby technician at the shop when I arrived the following day. I live about forty miles away and I was able to wait while the service was performed so I didn't have to make two trips from Orange County to Riverside. I was back on the road in about an hour and doing business with John and Donny was well worth the drive. I was greeted by a very welcoming gentleman (I believe he's the owner) he was able to fix my vacuum literally in like 15 minutes. When asking him how much it was he didn't want to charge me after conversing of what I do for a living. (Social services) he told me to just continue to help others. I obviously paid but finding people so humble definitely wants me to tell everyone about this place.
