Riviera by Fabio Viviani on Fort Lauderdale Beach is a solid choice for brunch if you want beach views and attentive service. Mimosas were flowing, the bar area was relaxed, and staff was friendly. It's not usually crowded around brunch, making it ideal for catching up with friends. Prices can be a little high for portion sizes, but the oceanfront atmosphere makes it worthwhile.

We got room service for breakfast! The food was delicious! Good quality and nice amount of all the items. The only thing I wish is that they would've sent real silverware versus plastic since they sent up real dishes. The avocado toast had more than enough Avocado which was great! The breakfast potatoes were crispy! The view from our balcony made breakfast in our room phenomenal!

(This place has the best fish tacos I've ever had) So was in the area about a month ago and after having been on the beach for a few hours the boyfriend and I were hungry. Decided let's walk up A1A to see what we can find. Came across this place, looked at the menu online and decided we'd try it. Was a Sunday, brunch time and wasn't crowded at all. Beautiful view of the beach and really nice to be when the weather is nice. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had plenty of water. I specifically got the Seared Mahi Tacos which I LOVED. Incredibly flavorful, filling, and colorful which I love. Everything was cooked to perfection. I want them again but alas I live in Texas. My boyfriend got the Smoked Salmon & Bagel Board and he loved it as well. We both cleared our plates.

We were impressed with the menu options which included a lot of the "normal" breakfast items, as well as some more unique ones. We had the bagel board and frittata with potatoes. Both were very yummy and served piping hot. It's a little pricey for what you get, but service was good and you can't beat the beach view (across the street).

I was excited to come here as it's a new restaurant for me. In September it's not super crowded with tourists in Fort Lauderdale so we got a seat outside facing the ocean. Our waiter was very attentive. We ordered off the happy hour menu which has $10 small plates and drinks(various prices). I had a glass of Prosecco which was just the right balance of dryness. We ordered the tuna nachos and the clams and mussels. The Tuna nachos were good, they had a little kick, they were served on very large size homemade potato chips. Unfortunately the clams and mussels were not so great. The mussels were either fished too early or overcooked because the inside stuck to the shells and was next to nothing. The waiter kindly agreed to replace it with another dish. We had the meatballs which comes with hardy pieces of bread. I liked the Tomato sauce, the meatballs were okay, I've had better and I've had worse

AhhhMazing! Every single employee has been helpful, outgoing and downright delightful. Came here for brunch and back for dinner. The food, while on the higher price point, does Not disappoint and is presented with love whether eating in or taking to go. Beautiful seaside seating indoors and out, couches with fire pits as well! Pop in if you're walking by and If you are staying at the Maren, you won't ever want to leave

I've been here twice now and had two very different experiences. The first time almost everything we had was amazing. The tuna poke was great. The octopus was really tasty. But, the Sachette was the star of the show and It's actually why we came back a second time. This go around virtually everything was flavorless. With the exception of the Sachette, which was amazing again. If you decide to go that's the only must have. The hummus didn't taste like anything. The olives in it were the only pops of flavor you got. The chicken wings were good, but they were tiny and with only 8 in the order, they are overpriced. The rigatoni was super bland. The pasta itself was nice but the sauce was flavorless. Cocktails: The first time, they were great. Second time, same issue, they didn't taste like the ingredients on the menu. They were strong, so there's that. I don't think we will return, since it's a very pricy dinner...and we left completely disappointed. On second thought , maybe we just come back and sit at the bar for the Sachette and a wine haha

We didn't have a reservation, and they had us #2 for bar seating. Cane was our bartender and had our wine to us in less than 2 minutes of asking. We waited about 20 min when a large party left and they were able to offer us a table, restricting us to an 1 and half. That was plenty of time. It was just me and my husband. We started with the arancini balls and they were great. Our server, Shamar was amazing and recommended the calamari and soppressata pizza with hot honey. Everything was AMAZING! Flavors bursting out of each entree.

The staff's vibe is so cool that they should offer Helly Hansen wear to ward off the frostbite. Reservations? Apparently on a Thursday off season are still are a must. The bar, the walk-ins' purgatory, is quite full. You are rather curtly directed there. When you are able to land a seat? You are greeted with pleasant diffidence, by the Asian bartender. Menus? You ask. He points to a cold COVIDesque QR code. There is nothing inviting about a menu on my phone. It's like dine in Uber Eats. We ordered drinks. I ordered a Tomcat Gin old fashioned because I know the gin and I've made them before. Good drink. The one with the strawberry hazelnut etc was just not good. It lacks contrast and depth. Too sweet. Too nutty. The bartender is working right in front of us. My daughter isn't drinking it. Does he ask if our drinks are okay? No. Drink dropped. Rang in. Next thing. I do get him to take our order. The one bit of semi-human contact. We ordered a broccoli rabe pizza. It's a small bar. I wanted hi to fix or replace my daughter's largely unconsumed cocktail. He was so adept at walling off the we, the uninteresting, that even I longed for the despised Ronald Reagan to call for him to "tear down that wall." The runner dropped our pizza. It came in reasonable time. The crust was excellent. The only highlight of the meal. The pizza itself was duller than a Brewers-Marlins game. An ocean of a slimy greasy cheese that was so bland it dragged the whole thing into the same monotony that the drink had. Very little rabe. Even less sausage. No real contrast, texture or flavor. Maybe lobotomic cuisine is the latest hipster trend? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We ate. No check in from the bartender. I actually wanted another drink with dinner. That apparently was not to be, for my enjoyment, his tip, and the restaurant's bottom line. He got around to asking, as he was cleaning up vacated counter seats, if we wanted another drink in that tone that mecánicas servers get when they ask if you want dessert and you're the last table in the restaurant. I told him that I would have loved one earlier if he had asked when we got our food. No apology. I've seen tree sloths more emotional. He was delighted to slap-shake with one of the beautiful people regulars next to us, on their way out. Icing on this ice castle. There's a little bit of parking at the restaurant, and a paid public lot across the street, if disdain and distant service are your fetish. Not that anyone in this kind of setup cares. I won't be back.

This is not your typical Chicago Italian style restaurant. The menu is varied and I was able to find something to order. I am very picky about the Italian food I eat. The Angelo salad was delicious. For my entree, the fettuccine bolognese was just not to my taste. My husband had the Caesar salad which he enjoyed. The sauce on the ravioli was different and, again, not to my taste. There was some confusion on the dessert we ordered, but the correction was quickly made. The restaurant is large but the parking lot is a nightmare. Fortunately we were in an Uber but while waiting to be picked up after we had eaten ~ crazy busy with limited parking spaces. I tried for months to make reservations so be aware you can finally make a reservation about 6 weeks in advance. The restaurant is busy and even offers pick up service and they do have valet parking. The meal began with a complimentary plate of bread, olives, and cheese -- a perfect start. We decided to go big for dinner, and it was absolutely the right choice. The Dover sole special in a French-style preparation was outstanding, and the one-pound thin veal cutlet parmigiana, paired with fresh homemade fettuccine and rich Bolognese sauce, was nothing short of WOW. Dessert took things to another level: the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and an overflowing molten chocolate center was pure indulgence. This place is truly a hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale and an absolute must-try.

We could barely have a conversation with others at our table as it was so loud. We came on the weekend and it was busy so if you decide to go, maybe a weekday will be better. Second, the service. Servers were nice enough (when they came around) but you had to hail them down for everything. More water, salt & pepper, dropped utensil, asking about dessert, the final bill. All of these we had to request after waiting quite abit of time. Third, the food. No one can mess up pasta, Can they? Everyone who had a pasta dish complained of them not being cooked enough. This is a family of Italians and Sicilians that know pasta and this place failed. Clams app were undercooked. Meat dishes all were overly salty. Given these 3 main items, we wanted out quickly and didn't chose to have dessert. We didn't get the hype. I always have much higher expectations when a restaurant charges $$$ for their items. But Vitolo failed. There are SOOOOOO MANY GREAT Italian restaurants in the area. We won't be back.
