The beef was tender and the flavors went well together. There was some sort of horseradish sauce on the bottom and i think a beer cheese sauce on top. 10/10 would come back just for the special. Beer was great as well! Very relaxed area. There are games you can pickup and play at your table. I appreciate the hot sauce on the table. Service was great and everyone was friendly and helpful.

The old vault serves as their merchandise area and the safety deposit boxes in the vault are used for their membership items. Multiple taps are flowing on a regular basis and offer a nice variety from IPAs to Porters.   In addition to their craft beer, they serve Hidden Still spirits for cocktails.  The food coming out of the kitchen is delicious!  Items are common brew pub items with a tasty culinary spin on them. The buffalo tots are delicious and the Bulgogi cheesesteak hits the spot. The menu isn't large, but focuses on quality items.  Daily specials are offered also. Lindgren's offers $1 off pints on Thursdays for teachers and $1 off on Sunday for Military/Veterans. If you are looking for a great stop on the way between HBG and State College take a short detour to Duncannon for a relaxing stop at Lindgren's. You will not be disappointed.

Fig jam, sauted mushrooms, bacon, Munster cheese, half pound burger... and it was delicious! Asparagus was just the way I like it. The fries were hot and crispy. The bottle of beer was icy cold. Don't you love it when you get in the car after leaving a resturant, thinking, wow, that was perfect. There was an out-of- state foursome near our table who commented to each other how much they loved the building and toasted their friend for picking the resturant.

Burger and beer hit the spot though. The hostel portion is decaying and dirty, and has a reputation for being so, almost like they try hard to make it super run down - like hippies took over some abandoned building and started living there. Even with that expectation it was still a little bit too uncomfortable. Dirt all over the floor in my room with some rugs slapped over the floorboards to hide it, filthy bathrooms where I still felt dirty after taking a shower, and really bad WiFi where I couldn't upload any videos or photos (LTE was much faster). A hornet was flying around the exposed ceiling on my first bathroom visit. A few shelters have definitely been cleaner and more comfortable. Will let the photos do the rest of the review.

They are definitely a steakhouse, offering many different cuts of steak at higher price points, which is expected for quality steaks. No one in our group ordered steak this time, however. Three of us ordered the Bourbon Glazed Chicken Breast, which was made with Bell & Evans chicken -- always a great sign because their chicken is excellent quality. We all really enjoyed our meals. The restaurant itself is very nice inside, and the service was good. We arrived about an hour before closing, and there were still a couple of parties dining. One thing worth noting: if you're a water snob like me and carry your Yeti filled with reverse osmosis water everywhere, this restaurant does not allow outside beverages. In all the years I've carried my water bottle with me, this is actually the first restaurant that has ever told me I couldn't have it there. Overall, I do recommend this restaurant, but I'd also recommend looking over the menu ahead of time so you know what to expect

The parking lot always seems full, but I never stopped until tonight. All I have to say, this is one of THE BEST steaks I've had in a very long time, maybe ever. My friend Steve invited me to have dinner here tonight and I was not disappointed! I had the strip with green beens and a loaded potato. Steve had a huge tomahawk. They were both cooked perfectly medium rare and super tender which Steve informed the chef personally. Sarah provided great service and many whiskey sours. Great job. Now I have to come back. Sorry was so hungry I didn't take pics.

We've eaten here a few times before and have always had great meals, so we wanted to bring our friends to experience this hidden gem. I made a 5:00 p.m. reservation, and we arrived right on time. We were seated a few minutes early, which was a nice start to the evening. Our server greeted us promptly with water and then returned to take our drink order. My wife ordered the Dragon Fruit cocktail, I had the Rye Old Fashioned, and our friends enjoyed the Watermelon Refresher and the Black Walnut Old Fashioned. For dinner, our friends ordered the salmon and the burger with fries. My wife and I shared the Green Goddess Salad and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. When our meals arrived, everything looked absolutely amazing. We all dug in, and every dish lived up to the presentation. Our friends said the salmon was fabulous, and the burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The Green Goddess Salad was fresh and delicious, but the star of the evening was definitely the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. They were incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and simply OMG good! Even though we were all full, we couldn't pass up dessert. We shared the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, and it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. From the drinks and food to the friendly service and atmosphere, Hidden Still Spirits continues to impress us. We're glad we brought our friends here, and they were just as impressed as we have been on our previous visits. We'll definitely be back again!

The rustic décor creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and it's a great option for families since they have a kids menu. The food was good across the board. Good food, family-friendly, and a nice change of pace after a day at the park.
