Today my friend and I came in for the lunch buffet. I loved how clean and open the restaurant was! My favorites were the samosas, garlic naan, and chicken tori. I definitely will be returning to this lovely restaurant. And thank you to the friendly lady for wonderful service and hospitality!

absolutely love Indian food, so when my friendly Uber driver--a nice Indian gentleman--recommended RK Indian Restaurant in Westminster, I had to try it! Wow, what a gem. The paneer tikka masala was creamy, flavorful perfection, the tarka dal had that authentic smoky kick, and the garlic naan was buttery and garlicky bliss. Gulab jamun for dessert? Divine sweetness to top it off. Highly recommend--5 stars!

So surprising: Here in what looks like a semi-abandoned strip mall is terrific Indian comfort food via a super tasty limited lunch buffet. Everything I tried from the chicken to the dal (lentils) was delicious, with an emphasis on hearty. You even get fresh naan. Very casual but very clean. Service with a smile.

Came in for lunch on a weekday. Parking was easy in the strip mall. Place was empty when I came in at 1130. There are 7 tables and room enough for a big group by putting tables together. There was no active buffet that day (she said they aren't doing it anymore). Got the two item lunch combo with saag paneer and chicken tikka masala. The food was tasty to me, and those two dishes were not spicy at all. The garlic naan was good, hot and fresh. I'm not a good judge on authenticity but I will come back and try some of the curry's for more spice.

My boyfriend and I came in on a Friday night and we got our food quick. We got the butter chicken, lamb biryani, and marat paneer. The lamb had a cinnamon flavor and came with this cilantro yogurt that was delicious. we'll be back!

This was walking distance from the hotel. I stopped by Wednesday evening after the dinner rush. Was pleasantly greeted by a friendly gal. I mentioned I wanted to order takeout. They do have a very spacious dining room, but I wanted to get back to my hotel room before dark since I was walking. I had already pre-browsed their Yelp page for dinner ideas - so opted for an order of Butter Chicken (which comes with a side of rice), and an order of Garlic Naan. Requested the butter chicken to be mild (or "as mild as possible"). Wait wasn't too long, there was another order ahead of me. My takeout order was well packaged - everything in its own container/wrapper to ensure they stayed hot and fresh. The delicious aroma was tantalizing on my brief walk back to the hotel. Holy moly. I'm no expert on Indian food - but everything tasted amazing! The garlic naan was hands down the best garlic naan I've ever had. It was warm, fresh, crispy in all the right places, and tasted equally great on its own - as well as dipped into the rich and creamy butter chicken sauce. The side of rice is perfect for one person - and the butter chicken had generous cuts of tender, delicious chicken. Spice level still had a kick to it - but it was manageable. Prices are fair considering the area, and quality of the dishes. Friendly and attentive service! I'm honestly contemplating coming back on my last day in the area for another round of dinner - I'll probably opt for a mango lassi next time to help balance out the spice. Like seriously considering going back here tomorrow night. All the portions were perfect - not too overwhelming, and I finished every last drop - saved some sauce to enjoy my last layer of garlic naan. Honestly, if it wasn't so far away from "home" - Amaravati would be my favorite / go-to Indian food restaurant from here on out. Plenty of parking spots at the time I went - but the stalls are kinda tiny. Luckily, I'm staying nearby, so within walking distance and didn't have to worry about parking.

Yum! What a great find in this area!…read more All the items we ordered were delicious. The paneer tikka masala was flavorful and creamy, the chili chicken was spicy, perfectly seasoned, and the chicken wasn't tough or rubbery. The samosas were excellent and came with both styles of chutney. Our order also came with a small side of rice which we appreciated. My only critique would be that the garlic naan was a bit flat and bland, but the former could be because it just didn't transport well since we ordered takeout. Overall, would highly recommend this spot and it holds its own against some of the more established spots in Artesia, Long Beach, etc.!

The butter chicken is my favorite, I know it's the most basic b Indian food but everything I've tried has been awesome. Sangeetha's cooking has made me ok with trying some vegetarian food when I thought I'd never like any non meat-centric dish. Swing by, try something new or enjoy something old. Relevant - it's not super spicy, but that's ok to me, it's more accessible to people that might be turned off by excessive spice - I have some scorpion pepper powder that I add to bring the heat, and it doesn't hurt the flavor that I've come to love. They're not open Mondays, but hey - she deserves time off! A suggestion if I may - grab an extra bowl of butter chicken alongside whatever else you get, and throw a fried egg or two on top the next morning for breakfast. DOES NOT HAVE BANANAS! As a professional simian that is of note, but not a negative ;) There are random snacks I've never seen before, I've tried a few and have been happy with what I've sampled. The bottles of mango lassi are super tasty and for me, it helps my heartburn.

I probably will not be returning, but it wasn't bad. I think non-south Asians would really like it. Edit: I was going to delete my review, but I got a private message from the owner with a ton of attitude, asking me to take this down, but I don't feel like that's ethical. I don't think three stars is bad. So just to restate. The food is not bad. But I'm not going to take this review down because I don't feel like it's appropriate for the owner to message you privately with an attitude and try to strong-arm you into taking down the review. I have left plenty of reviews about restaurants in Little India, and not once as anybody messaged me with the tone that you have used with me. So I'm leaving it up. Live and learn. Edit: I got a notification that the owner continued to add to her comment, so to answer her questions, I don't remember what I got because it was several months ago, but I remember that it was just okay. It wasn't bad but your approach to dealing with your customers is. I don't think that Yelp has the option of messaging people so you can come at them with a shitty attitude and strong-arm them into trying to change their review. You're honestly just making yourself look worse.

The mushrooms tasted more like meat and the other vegetables made it seem more like a Chinese dish. An absolutely wonderful dish. My friend and i said that next time we would each get our own order of this. The tandoori shrimp was very tasty. The shrimp were large and we made quick work of the dish. Next was the haryali chicken. Nice char on the chicken and it was so tasty and flavorful and went great with the naan. The Shahih paneer with its creamy sauce was great. My friend liked it more than I did and he finished the majority of it. We got the aloo gohbi and I loved the potatoes and cauliflower with the buttery sauce and spices. The chicken curry was our last savory dish. The chicken was so tasty and moist. The curry was so flavoful and just the right amount of spice. Perfect for dipping the naan in. The flavors just pop, kinda like a General Tsao's Chicken, and the crunch from the mushrooms is *chef's kiss*. We also got the Butter Chicken Pasta, oh man.... Oh it's the best butter chicken. The flavor is full and rich, and you can tell everything was made fresh. Cheese Stuffed Garlic Naan, I can eat this by itself, but when you eat it with your meal it enhances it so well! I just kept scooping the butter chicken pasta in it, as well as just make sure I got every bit of sauce from my plate on it. To drink I got a Mango Lassi. It's amazing because it's not too sweet, and it's mellow enough to complement the flavors of your meal! It's a comfort drink for me! We ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala to go, we actually had a little when we got home and it's AMAZING! We got medium spice and it was just perfect. It's a small shop with a variety of menu items kept in heated trays at the front + some items made in the back kitchen as you order. They had their mango lassi already in cups placed in a fridge that you can just grab after ordering. Prices are fair and portions are big enough where 1 entree + rice + naan was enough for 2 to share. PARKING : Plenty of parking in a shared parking lot with the stores in the plaza, you won't have an issue with finding a spot! FOOD/DRINKS : Butter Chicken - Comes with a big portion of rice! Overall I would say this is more mild in flavor than other butter chicken that i've had. Good portion of chicken and it was soft, but I felt like it needed something a lil more. Prob not the first place i'd go looking for butter chicken, but not bad for the value. Garlic Naan - big portion, came out warm and soft. good to dip in the butter chicken! Mango Lassi - Typically I know mango lassi as a sweet, creamy mango yogurt treat. Howver, this one was less balanced and leaned more heavily on the yogurt, which was tart. I didn't taste much mango (perhaps this was an off-batch). I did not finish it but might try again next time to see if it's better!

Always appreciate that. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the place felt clean and well kept. It has that family-run feel, which adds to the experience.
