I discovered RLA Cafe on maps, and I have to admit some of the reviews were a little misleading. I visited on a Sunday morning, and parking was fairly difficult... actually the large parking lot was closed from the main street. Entrance was only from the residential street and looked to be valet / directed only - fairly packed. I found parking at the block nearby, a 3 minute walk. Walking to find RLA Cafe was a tad difficult, too. It's easy to miss since there's no obvious sign from the street side. Going through the parking lot was confusing as well. Once you make your way in, you'll find that it's very well designed, relaxing, and uplifting. However, a few spots make this less appealing to work at other than parking: * Wi-Fi requires a $10 minimum. Code is on receipt, but getting it was a hassle. The Wi-Fi is additionally on the slower end, and somehow I got cut off, or it stopped working after an hour. * Iced latte was mostly milk; there was barely a hint of espresoo. I got a large to "try" to hit $10 but it's really hard. Not having much ice could be seen as a plus, but this was probably the worst latte I've ever had. Felt like I was drinking milky water. * Need a $10 minimum? Good luck, there are menu items but no prices! Overall, for an $8 iced latte, it left much to be desired outside of the ambiance / environment. read more

First off, there is a parking lot so yay for easy parking. It was pretty calm on a Friday afternoon. I got a lavender matcha with oat milk. It was delicious and very vibrant green which I appreciated. I also got a sausage croissant with hash browns. Everything was good. I like my hash browns a bit crispier. The sausage was delicious though. I'd definitely come back and try the breakfast burritos too and other drinks. I think the owner served me. He was super nice. I would not recommend this place, you are better off going to Starbucks or somewhere else. I spent my last 7 dollars here because I wanted to support a local business and got excited when it was a church / spiritually aligned establishment. However I spent my last 7 dollars and when I ask to use WiFi. He said the minim purchase was 10 bucks. Which I was short 3 dollars. This is unacceptable especially as someone who is spiritually inclined and I tolls the person before my purchase this was my last 7 dollars to spare. Hidden gem! I was very excited to try this cafe after all the reviews. It was beautiful inside, spacious, with lots of seating options inside and outside, and plugs to do work! Was very quiet, the baristas were kind, and seems like they have a pretty decent food menu too. Best part? Ample parking. It's connected to/part of a church so lots of parking. Came here to work a bit on Friday after my morning workout. They are located next to a church I believe and they have a large parking lot. The place is spacious and there was hardly anyone there when I arrived. They have a variety of options when it comes to snack and food. I opted for a egg and cheese croissant and a cup of coffee. The croissant tasted really good. The coffee wasn't too strong which is what I enjoy. I was going to use the 15% yelp check in but the lady at the counter didn't understand what I was talking about. BUT the prices here are so reasonable compared to other coffee shops, so really there is no need to use the check in option. Definitely on my list of places to work in the morning. read more

It's a nice little neighborhood cafe located next to a church. There's plenty of space to sit and they also have outdoor seating but with no shade. I came in on a Sunday at around 1pm. The place looked busy but I was still able to sit down. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato. It took them 16 minutes to make it due to being backed up with coffee orders. There were kids running around making a lot of noise, kids will be kids in any setting. But I couldn't concentrate and read my book so I left. The coffee is alright, nothing special. I make a better Iced Caramel Macchiato at home. The blueberry lemon loaf slice was good. I'll give this place another shot maybe on a weekday. read more

AHH!! Such a nice looking cafe. It has a very nice aesthetic and photos hung up on the wall. They have a section of books where you can read and put back whenever you want to. I love the little decor they have everywhere, and the seating area is so nice! Customer service was awesome, they greeted us kindly and looked happy to be there :). As for the food, I loved it! I got the turkey cheese croissant, which was a 10/10. I also got the hazelnut latte + split a banana nut piece with my uncle, we both liked it very much. It tasted very nice cold, it would've been even better warmed up. (They of course asked us if we wanted it warmed up, it was my fault for saying no lol).
