    chicken torta and iced americano

really cute and welcoming interior, with plenty of seating for studying. there is even a common lounging area. I could really feel how much the owners care about this place! they have some house rules: minimum $10 purchase for wifi, no food in the lounging area, etc I got a chicken torta and an iced americano and studied for a few hours. the sandwich was decent, the coffee was a little burnt

Hidden gem! I was very excited to try this cafe after all the reviews. It was beautiful inside, spacious, with lots of seating options inside and outside, and plugs to do work! Was very quiet, the baristas were kind, and seems like they have a pretty decent food menu too. Best part? Ample parking. It's connected to/part of a church so lots of parking. My americano was smooth and well made. Great place to work and I'll be back!.

Aesthetically pleasing and so quiet. Employees were very nice and accommodating. We ordered a Carmel latte and a iced matcha Chata (horchata). Both very good! I will be back! Luckily this place is close to home!

While the customer service was excellent I unfortunately received a matcha with spoiled oat milk that was clumpy. I've attached photos for reference...

Came here to work a bit on Friday after my morning workout. They are located next to a church I believe and they have a large parking lot. The place is spacious and there was hardly anyone there when I arrived. They have a variety of options when it comes to snack and food. I opted for a egg and cheese croissant and a cup of coffee. The croissant tasted really good. The coffee wasn't too strong which is what I enjoy. I was going to use the 15% yelp check in but the lady at the counter didn't understand what I was talking about. BUT the prices here are so reasonable compared to other coffee shops, so really there is no need to use the check in option. Definitely on my list of places to work in the morning.

AHH!! Such a nice looking cafe. It has a very nice aesthetic and photos hung up on the wall. They have a section of books where you can read and put back whenever you want to. I love the little decor they have everywhere, and the seating area is so nice! Customer service was awesome, they greeted us kindly and looked happy to be there :). As for the food, I loved it! I got the turkey cheese croissant, which was a 10/10. I also got the hazelnut latte + split a banana nut piece with my uncle, we both liked it very much. It tasted very nice cold, it would've been even better warmed up. (They of course asked us if we wanted it warmed up, it was my fault for saying no lol). There was another family there who looked very happy to be there, and honestly I think that's what you would look for in a cafe. Good food and smiles :). The parking space is also huge! I recommend

Eating takeout while exercising the dog and doing some light work. Tasty sandwich. Side of Jalapeños were a bonus.

Got the Turkey Pesto Provolone Sandwich ($9.75), Pumpkin Pie ($3.75), and a regular coffee ($2). FOOD: Sandwich was tasty and refreshing. The ciabatta bread complimented the ingredients very well, the pesto tasted fresh and well balanced. The provolone melted everything together. I'm saving the pumpkin pie for later... I'll update my review [if I remember to]. As for the regular coffee, I'm still feeling the caffeine - I hope it doesn't keep me up. If it does I'll remove one star from the review. SERVICE: Great service. People were friendly ATMOSPHERE: Peaceful and clean. Made me want to read a book...

This location on Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown is the smallest of the three I've visited, with under 10 seats available. It's a compact shop, and most customers opt for takeout. It's a narrow shop, and most customers take their orders to-go. I've previously enjoyed the La Paradiso and La Toscana, with the La Paradiso being my personal favorite. For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. A big thank you to the female staff member who expertly cut the meat and offered samples, assisting us in making the perfect choice for my son's sandwich. This experience was truly a positive one for our family. I would definitely return to AAV for the excellent food and service. Given the small size of the shop, takeout is recommended, especially during peak hours. The sandwiches at AAV are so good! Fuggedaboutit!

Order online and have some jump out of the car to pick up your order. There is no seating inside but maybe a chair or two outside. The neighborhood is a little rough around the edges so you may want to get that food to go. We tried three sandwiches and they were all huge. The crispy chicken caesar wrap is phenomenal and I am not one who usually orders this particular sandwich anywhere. It comes with a creamy sauce that I might have drank directly from the little cup. The wrap is packed full of chicken and it is refreshing and excellent. It doesn't look huge but trust me, the wrap is packed full and you will be plenty satisfied. The Antonia sandwich comes with turkey, cheese, avocado, tomato, and garlic aioli. It isn't all that unique a creation but for what it is, it is very fresh and very good. It came loaded with delicious turkey. The Martha sandwich (chicken salad, apples, fennel, argula, herbs, etc.) is on special right now. Personally, I am not a big chicken salad guy but you get a lot of it and the person in our party who ordered it liked it a lot. We also tried the arancini and they were excellent. You get three arancini balls and fantastic vodka sauce on the side. This is a winner. To be honest, practically the entire menu sounds great to me. They have quite a few locations and I feel like I will be trying them again soon.

When we visited I noticed a good amount of tables, but there was only a couple dining in other than us. I know this is a popular spot because I kept hearing the DoorDash sound go off. The inside of the restaurant looked pretty clean, you're also able to see most of the kitchen so you know food is being prepped in a clean environment. There was a gentleman helping us with our order and he was very friendly. The katsu I ordered was delicious. My son opted for the vegetarian route and his protein was a mushroom. I actually liked everything we got, but the boy was disappointed with the mushroom. He was not a fan of the slightly sweet taste. My favorite item was definitely the strawberry creme sandwich. The sandwich was not overly sweet, but it was still memorable. I would love to come back to have it again. The egg sando was a little bit of a let down for me, my son thought the same. It's actually surprising that we were not fans because both of us LOVE eggs. Definitely think you need to check this place out because that strawberry sandwich is delicious.

We ordered a fruit cup for my toddlers (ages 1 and 3), and when it arrived, it looked like someone had declared a melon and cantaloupe convention. There were two slices of strawberry, one grape, and one lonely blackberry fighting for representation. Dulce noticed and kindly removed it from the bill...as she noticed the disappointment. Then the food arrived. I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito. I'd give it a 6/10 It was mostly potatoes wrapped in a tortilla with a guest appearance by bacon & egg.The guacamole sauce didn't help, it wasn't green anymore and was brown. My sister ordered the steak medium rare.It arrived very well done and so chewy. We tried salt, tapatio, Neither worked so bland bland. Then came the scalloped potatoes. The moment we saw water pooling underneath them, we tapped out. The only thing that truly delivered was the waffle. It was delicious, and the fruit served with it actually looked fresh and appetizing. Overall, I really wanted to love this place because I've had such great experiences ordering lunch from here. The service was fantastic thanks to Dulce, but the breakfast food just didn't live up to the reputation I had built in my head. Hopefully this was just an off day, because the staff deserves better food to serve.
