Always a favorite of mine. Good food and delicious beer. Their specials menu is never a miss. Service is decent, they have the can system red side means you don't need service and green means you. Chill vibe, a barn on a vineyard. Kids are welcome here and they have games to play outside.

Had an awesome meal at RMV Cellars over the weekend. It happened to coincide with their 1yr anniversary party, so the vibes were a lot of fun. Great music, lively atmosphere, almost every table was packed! We tried a few of their beers and wines, which paired very well with the charcuterie plate and one of their weekend specials. Despite the busy night, service was friendly and quick. Plenty of seating inside and out, they have a selection of board games in the loft too. Would return!

This tap room is not super easy to find, but well worth the effort. They could use a little more signage. The space is large and welcoming, with a great outdoor area as well. They have a cool method of service, where you turn a can over if you need service and the other way if you don't. We found service to be friendly and prompt. The food is really good, especially the woodfired pizza. I liked the beer selection as well. We went here for a large party, and it accommodated everyone well. Very comfortable indoors and out. Would definitely recommend.

This adjunct to the adjacent Red Maple Vineyard offers a wide variety of craft brews and wines made on site. They are complemented by a number of tasty food options. Comfortable seating space found both inside and outdoors. Decor is rustic. We enjoyed each of the items that we ordered, including beverages. Photos attached. Sidewinder fries were also delicious though I neglected to take a picture of them. Live music is sometimes provided. Superb service. You'll enjoy this place!

I stumbled into what can only be described as a carnivorous ceremony at RMV Cellars (112 Burroughs Dr)this weekend. When you see two 80lb rear legs of beef hanging over open flame, hesitation is not an option. You grab your keys and jump in the car as fast as you can. If you aren't familiar, a steamship roast or steamboat round is the entire hindquarter (leg) of the cow. An old-school favorite usually reserved for weddings or cruise ship buffets. Gary, the resident fire-whisperer, sliced off slabs of meat and ladled drippings onto my plate. I built my plate like an old school mixtape with hit after hit. One half slathered in ramp chimichurri--made with wild ramps foraged on property and the other half drenched in creamy horseradish sauce. The rest of my plate finished with crunchy coleslaw, fingerling potato salad, and garlic bread that was grilled over the same fire as the meat. To round out the meal we ordered the gorgonzola and fig flatbread and a couple drinks. A blood orange cider that was tart but very refreshing, and an Italian classic Aperol spritz (Im still stuck in Italy). The outside dining area is a patchwork of sculpture garden, open-air kitchen, flowers, and the occasional cornhole game. The vibe is between an outdoor sculpture park and your family's backyard BBQ. Just like a Brazilian steakhouse, service follows a color system. Green for more pours and red when you need to pace yourself. Next time I'd ask for a fattier cut of meat. The charred, melt-in-your-mouth, fatty bite is my favorite. Honestly, I'd return just for the sauces. The ramp chimichurri, with tons of raw garlic, was borderline illegal. The horseradish cream was perfect also. Just enough sinus-clearing horseradish that was totally mellowed out by a creamy finish. There's something primal about meat over fire. It strips humanity down to its bare bones. Just the kind of afternoon where time slows down and your only decision is whether to eat more beef or save room for another beer. Next time they throw one of these carnivorous rituals, I'll be first in line. Maybe with a green flag in one hand, and a second plate in the other. #greatlifebrewing #rmvcellars #steamboat Above Photography https://www.instagram.com/b.overly_delicious/

The cellars is the place to be if you're in this area. Only 1 hour from Rockland county/1.5 from NYC, this cute spot is ready to take care of your every need. Servers are gracious, kind and readily available. Carlos manning the pizza oven outside is not your only attraction.. they have their vineyard scene, horse ranch, a mini nature walk including local metalwork and cornhole! Tables outside and inside! Outside is protected from the rain, and all their products are made by them!! Go Maple syrup! And go to RMV!!

Our day started with a Chinese tea ceremony in the barn and then a catered lunch. About 6:30pm, the ceremony with a live music started followed by passed hors d'oeuvre, fresh oysters, and wood fired pizza. The wood fired pizza was very delicious and I enjoyed the blackened shrimp and the arancini. I tried the cider and the rosé, but they were too dry for my taste. Then at 7:45pm, we went into the reception pavilion. The menu consisted of a salad as first course, a duet plate of salmon and beef short rib for entree, and dessert. The summer citrus salmon with the multi grain pilaf was very good. After first dance, father and daughter dance, mother and son dance, and speeches, the DJ told us to step outside. After a few minutes, the sky exploded with light. It was a beautiful fireworks display from the hillside. The bathrooms were stocked with essentials in the toiletry baskets. Red Maple Vineyard offers a rustic barn and reception pavilion, massive green grounds, and a beautiful garden.

We'd stop by as we were planning out wedding, and he'd bring us down to the kitchen, open up the fridge and pull out food for us. He'd open wine (of course) and we'd hang out. It has now become our annual tradition to head up to West Park on (or around) our anniversary for a visit with Lou. And now it's not just us, but first one daughter, and then our second. How often would you go and visit a catering hall? Just be prepared... Lou likes a good joke, so be ready with one or two, and be prepared to wince at his!

I have yet to bash another wedding vendor, as it's just not good practice, but after the last experience I had, I feel I have no choice but be vocal and public about this man. He not only went through 4 (yes, four) head waiters, in less than a year, but actually told my bride that she was difficult, needy, and had the smallest wedding ever! This was 3 days before her wedding, when we all know a bride is fragile as it is, but to have an email from this man, basically bashing her.... WRONG! He also promised her the moon, and then would take it back, then give it again.... he is like a selfish child, just wanting to toy with every bride and groom. Once he gets your down payment......... watch out. Don't get me wrong, the staff in wonderful, the venue is wonderful, the food is good and the overall experience the bride and groom had on their wedding day was great......... but at what cost. At each stop Donovan made sure that we were treated like royalty. He didn't just drop us off, he got out with us and set us all up comfortably at each winery even going out of his way to get ice for our wine and helping us choose the best reviewed wines at each stop.
