    Food truck

Road Dogs serves up a pretty nice beef frank from their food truck, so if you happen upon them while they're moving about be sure to give them a try (my experience was at the Rose White and Blue festival). Their menu isn't vast with too many options, but given their pricing it feels worth it to go with their loaded hot dogs rather than the simpler stuff. Either way, staff were pretty quick to get lines moving and took a name they'd call out at the pick-up window. They readily honored my request for the hot sauce on my Kamikaze dog to be on the side, so no complaints here. The beef frank was pretty nicely grilled with a very nice "snap" to the skin when you bite down on it. The kamikaze dog is absolutely a loaded hot dog with bacon and onions on top of mayo/sriracha/teriyaki and seaweed. It's quite the umami burst with each bite and the (lightly toasted hawaiian) buns have a subtly sweet contrast to the smorgasbord on the inside. The downside to using hawaiian buns though is that they do tend to break apart at the seams, so be careful if you're picking up this dog by hand rather than by foil. My cravings for hot dogs are not frequent, but I'd definitely hit them up again the next time I see them around!

    Chicago Dog with loaded fries

The hot dogs and fries were a lot better than expected. Nothing they did wrong or anything I seen beforehand I just didn't expect much from hot dogs. I got the chicago style dog and it was delicious the cherry peppers were the right amount of heat needed. I also got the loaded fries which I was pleasantly surprise were made with seasoned fries. The cheese was the right amount with bacon. All and all I would definitely try them again.

Amazing hot dogs! And don't even get me started on the fantastic assortment of tots they offer! Successful team food coma over here in my office and I'm not mad at it. The Chicago dog and jalapeño cheese tots were perfect! The only thing I would change is the pickles - I'm not a big fan of sweet pickles. But the menu selection was great and the prices were definitely on point.

Road Dogs came by for a private catering event the other night and it was decent. Service was friendly by the chilled out employee. Ordered the Kamikaze as the employee suggested and it was pretty good. The sausage had a nice kick to it and the bread was surprisingly light and tasty. The toppings were generous too! The fries were perfectly fried! ...now I'm starting to get hooked on these food trucks! ...I do wonder was the hot dog made from Kurobuta pork or wagyu beef? hrm..

    Space Needle!

I know these guys.. I remember replying to their status on FB in regards to this. I'm very happy for them that not only did I feel that my $5 towards my Space Needle was oh so worth it but I will be a repeat customer! I got the Space Needle which comes w/ grilled onions and cream cheese. Now don't be fooled or disgusted by this combination because it was DAMN GOOD. Cream cheese is like ranch or mayonnaise to me - it goes w/ everything! I'll be back for more.. will try every item at least once and I'm sure after my venture through the menu, I will enjoy everything (except for the seaweed one). My bestie ordered that (forgot what it was called). I'm not a fan of anything seafood however she and her better half loves it! Great job, guys!

Maybe I should pick the top item on the menu when in doubt or change my order when hearing everyone after me orders the Space Needle, but frankly the menu didn't make it sound so attractive (I'm not a fan of kraut). Instead, I ordered Tailgate and Westcoast. Taigate was spicy but it was much better than Westcoast to my liking, particularly because Westcoast has too much pickled peppers (I'm not a fan of pickled food either).

They came to my office for lunch. They had a wide variety of hot dogs and I tried the regular. It was overall nice. Clearly higher quality but I would expect that. The condiments were also very flavorful and high quality. I would definitely try them again when they come back to my office.

    Kamikaze tator tots

They came to my work for lunch the other day. I would say that they have quite interesting food offerings. I wanted to try something different so I went with the kamikaze tater tots! They were pretty filling, and I couldn't even make a dent in them. It had a kick to it, and it was both sweet and spicy at the same time. I asked them not to drench the tots in mayo. I felt bad enough eating the fried carbs. I spent about $6.50 for my meal, and they accepted credit card via Square. My coworker had the kamikaze hot dog, which she said was super massive. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal. She was full and satisfied. She saw my tater tots and saw how massive mine were. I think they have me extra because I was their last customer for lunch! It was way too much for just one person, but he told me to share with my friends.

We arrived a little after 7 and it was not busy inside for a Tuesday. It seems most people take their food to go. They do have ample seating inside if you come with a group which is nice. The ambiance inside was nice. A lot of fun decor and even a cutout to take funny pictures. They even have a tv playing music videos with modern music. Cool vibe! You can order via the kiosk with your card or at the counter whichever you prefer. We all ordered individually from m the kiosk and had no issues. Since there were seven of us who ordered, some orders arrived later than others. I can understand this since they're alls full filling online and delivery orders. I ordered the Texas forever hotdog since I love bbq and made it a combo with regular fries and soda. They get bonus points for serving Coke products, especially Coke Zero. My friends ordered hot dogs , corn dogs and the truffle and bulgogi fries. The stand out hotdog for them was the truffle dog! I recommend their business!

Damian's is located inside a plaza on Alum Rock and should be easy to spot. There's a cart stocked with cilantros, onions, limes, salsas, jalapeños, and grilled onions that you can add onto your tacos, as well as ketchup and mustard for your hot dogs. Their tacos are $2.50 each with the exception of Lengua which is $3. They also offer bacon wrapped hot dogs for $4. We tried.. Pastor - This one was okay. Not bad but nothing special. Chuleta - I've never heard of this until now, but it's smoked pork chops. It tasted like bacon and was surprisingly good. Would recommend. Tripa - I didn't have any, but the boyfriend said it's the best tripa tacos he's had. Most places don't offer tripa, and the places that do offer it cook it a little too crispy. He said this one was the perfect balance of chewy and crispy. Would recommend. Cabeza - This is my favorite taco meat and they did not disappoint. Soft, juicy, tender. Would recommend. Lengua - Their lengua obviously has been braised for a long time. Most lengua is a little chewy but this one melts in your mouth. Unfortunately we prefer our lengua with a slight chew but this was still good depending on your preference. So tldr: Would recommend the cabeza and tripa tacos, and give the chuleta tacos a try if you like bacon. They're cash only so be sure to bring cash.
