I hadn't been a, 'big fan' of this place over my past 8 years living in V.O.E. The sauce lacked flavor. The crust seemed to usually be too crispy. And I believe that the 'best' pizza in town? Was inside, Rim Bowling. However, my wife and I, went back after many months. And at the least?, The food seemed to be better. We still waited 20-25 minutes. But, I DID really enjoy their baked pasta this time. My wife had their, 'Hawaiian pizza'. Again however?, 'semi' burnt crust. But, an enjoyable pizza. Good toppings. Good flavor. It is REALLY nice to have them so close to home. We ALWAYS try to, support our local businesses up here. And they, have been a main, 'staple' in town for food for many years. Holy Moly Pizza Shop !! This place was delicious !! So fresh and just a warm feel inside the restaurant. The sauce was perfect and the crust my word the crust was incredible !! I don't typically like pizza crust but this was so good ! Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Ingredients taste fresh, veggies and meats were the perfect amount. On the way out some regulars offered us one of their pizza rolls he had ordered and WOW !! It was like a crunchy garlicky roll of deliciousness stuffed with pepperoni sauce and cheese. The service was great !! Very patience with us in explaining what their offerings were and let us know about a special they are having as a collab with one of the BBQ places on September 3, 2023. The crust was still gooey, and the boneless wings felt and tasted like they were microwaved as well as being the size of small chicken nuggets. For about $72 you can get 2 uncooked pizzas and 2 orders of microwaved wings. My family and I will never purchase anything from roadhouse pizza again. If I could I would rate 0 stars. Roadhouse is the best pizza in town, easily. You can go up the highway 20 minutes and get a better pie perhaps but by the time you get back to Crestline, your pizza will be cold. Roadhouse is fresh made, generously topped and comes in thin or pan crust to give you some variety. I like the pizza but the real stars of the menu are the garlic parmesan twists. Order two portions as you will be wanting more once you've had them. Do not ask for garlic knots or anything other than garlic parmesan twists. They will say "this is roadhouse pizza, we don't do knots" and will wait til you ask for the right thing! It's funny, don't get upset at the correction. Be sure to order ahead for pick up or for dine in or you will be waiting a while. They get busy and you will arrive and sit in the delicious smells coming out of the oven if you do not order ahead. The breadsticks are the best part -- seriously delicious. The pizza is just okay, and the salads are mostly lettuce with minimal toppings. All the wings and other "fried" items are actually baked, and unfortunately not worth it. Not many options on the mountain, so this place is decent in a pinch. read more

This has been our go to pizza place for the last year, but sadly we won't be back. We've had pick up, delivery, and dine in... and for some reason it always tastes better as dine in. But the pizza and the wings are always delicious no matter how you get your order. Dining in lets you experience the 90s nostalgia with an "arcade", quarter gumball type machines, and even a chicken machine (I remember them from the 80s and 90s... the chicken over a slew of eggs with prizes inside). The staff has always been friendly and provided great service... until recently. A few weeks ago we went in fully prepared for a 45 minute wait, so when we were told it would be 45 minutes for our order no big deal. Until 45 minutes turned into an hour and an hour turned into an hour and a half. And when i would check the status I kept being told just a couple more minutes. When it turns out the order got marked as to go and had been sitting in the window. So now we have a cold pizza, a hungry toddler, and a diabetic adult who has low blood sugar due to the additional wait. The pizza was still delicious and we love the place so we weren't ready to give up on the place. Fast forward to tonight. We put in the order and get told 20-25 minutes. Wow, ok that's fast! Except at an hour in to the wait we have a toddler having a meltdown because she's been smelling pizza for that hour and is starving. That's it for us. We took our pizza, burnt edges and all, and went home...and this time we won't be back. Do I think they'll see this or miss our business? No. The place is pretty much always busy, one family no longer ordering won't make a difference in their bottom line. TL;DR Great food, friendly staff but be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes longer than what they quote you for a wait time. read more

The family and I recently had the pleasure of stumbling across this Pizza place after a nice hike at Rock Heart Trail. I am not lying to you when I tell that this was one of the Best Pizza's I've ever tasted. You could just tell by the taste and deliciousness of the pie that they use nothing but fresh ingredients. We also had the their cheese bread and wings and both were FIRE!!! Great customer service and food was at our table promptly. Next time we are in Crestline we are definitely stopping here again...I would advise to anyone reading this to give them a try, you won't be disappointed. I've taken my family to Road House a few times and it just got worse on every visit (ok, we were desperate for pizza!). On the last visit I called in for a pick-up order: 1) they had "lost" the order, 2) the host shrugged his shoulders and reluctantly took my order, 3) after a 30 minute wait I paid and took our food home. It was bad - I mean bad. I returned one hour later and mentioned to the cashier that the food was poor, and completely out of my character, I returned the food. I was told they would refund me and the young man simply walked away. I waited for the cashier to return and after 15 minutes I left; to the point: the refund never happened and I stopped caring. The "no bare hands" rule is pretty common on a national level ..food employees shall not contact exposed, ready-to-eat food with their bare hands and shall use suitable utensils such as deli tissue, spatulas, tongs, single-use gloves, or dispensing equipment. We initially stopped at the location in Lake Arrowhead but after a 10 minute hold to order over the phone opted for this location. To our surprise when checking on Yelp, this locations reviews are much better. So, why not!? This was kids choice (I was quite excited that they choose something us adults could enjoy). Customer service was pretty good with our order taken promptly over the phone and pick up time given. When we arrived to pick up they asked the name and let us know it would take a few minutes longer. We did not mind the wait, it was over 45 minutes since we'd ordered but there was traffic from Lake Arrowhead to the Crestline location. The pizza was piping hot which we appreciated with a couple hour commute home agreed of us. The only thing that could have made this experience a bit better is if they had given or offered paper plates and napkins. Since, there is no dining in, I am sure many would appreciate this. Ingredient quality was great. Amazing (real) cheese on the pizza and tasty toppings (generous with the toppings). We ordered a large pepperoni and bacon, and one large bbq chicken extra sauce. Wow, they put extra sauce...I am used to places being stingy with sauce and this was not the case. Next time I would order as is. Choice of thin or pan crust. I am sadly disappointed with this place. I have been a patron for many years. The staff was rude and unapologetic for it. I placed my "to go" order and then paid for it. After paying for it I am told "oh sorry I forgot to tell you it will be 35 to 40 minutes to get your pizza." If I had been told that upon ordering I would have not ordered & left. After around 30 to 35 minutes I went back inside to get my pizza. However, when I asked about my pizza I was then told "oh another 15 minutes." At this point they still had not even started my pizza and I was mad. I asked for a refund & they acted like they gave me my refund.
