My family went hatchet throwing and they had a real good time. It was harder than it looked. Everyone was very helpful and patient.

When a Movie Theater / Arcade Decides to Play Pharmacist and Detective I never thought I would spend weeks working with law enforcement trying to recover my own legally prescribed medication from a movie theater, but here we are. Three Saturdays ago, I accidentally left my daily medication container at RoadHouse Cinemas. I realized it almost immediately before I even got home and called the theater right away. I was told the auditorium had not even been cleaned yet. I explained exactly where the container was located and informed staff that I was already turning around and would be back within about 30 minutes. At that point, this should have been one of the easiest lost-and-found situations imaginable. What Should Have Happened A staff member should have gone into the auditorium, retrieved the container, secured it in lost and found, and waited for the customer who had already called and was actively on the way back. That's it. Problem solved. What Actually Happened Instead, staff opened my medication container, inspected the contents, identified the medications themselves (via google per managment), determined on their own that I should not be carrying legally prescribed medication in a daily-use organizer, and contacted law enforcement. Let's be absolutely clear: every medication in that container was legally prescribed to me. I'm disabled American prescribed medications not a criminal. Like many people who take multiple medications each day, I use a daily pill organizer rather than carrying numerous prescription bottles everywhere. I intentionally carry only a day's supply so that if something gets lost, I don't lose all of my medication. What makes this situation particularly outrageous is that the theater already knew exactly who the owner was. This was not abandoned property. I had already called, identified myself, and told them I was on my way back. Yet instead of waiting 30 minutes for the owner to return, staff decided to play pharmacist, investigator, and law enforcement. Then they called the police. The Real Consequences What should have been resolved that same day has now dragged on for weeks. I am currently running low on one of the medications that was inside that container because of decisions made by theater staff. Think about that for a moment. A customer accidentally leaves behind a daily medication organizer, immediately calls, immediately turns around, and the theater has not even cleaned the auditorium yet. Somehow the result is weeks of police paperwork and a customer still trying to recover their own property. This entire situation was completely avoidable. To make matters worse, the container itself was a gift from my grandmother-in-law who recently passed away. The medication can eventually be replaced. That gift cannot. Management's Response After speaking with management, I was stunned to learn they completely stand behind what happened. Their position appears to be that I was wrong for carrying legally prescribed medication in a daily-use organizer rather than transporting large prescription bottles everywhere I go. I even asked a hypothetical question: If they found a wallet and already knew who it belonged to because the owner had called and was on the way back, would they go through every card, inspect the contents, make judgments, and potentially involve law enforcement before the owner arrived? The answer was essentially yes. The "Karen" Version of Customer Service Of course, nobody is arguing against basic safety measures. But that is not what happened here. The theater already knew who owned the container. They knew I was returning. They knew I was only 30 minutes away. There was absolutely no reason to start handling, identifying, and investigating my medication. The entire experience felt like the "Karen" version of customer service, where the first assumption is that a customer must be doing something wrong and the first response is to involve authorities rather than use common sense. I am not accused of a crime. I am not in trouble. Every medication was legally prescribed to me. Yet I am the one dealing with the consequences. RoadHouse Cinemas took what should have been a simple 30-minute lost-and-found situation and turned it into a weeks-long ordeal involving law enforcement, missing medication, wasted time, unnecessary stress, and the possible loss of an irreplaceable sentimental item. I cannot recommend a business that treats customers this way. We checked out the game side prior way to expensive for the offerings. Bowling down the street is far cheaper. read more

We went here for a kids birthday party. It is nice they have a private room with a big screen in it. It is unfortunate there seemed to be only 1, I think they could benefit from having at least 2. They are strict in the time slots as they have many people booking that 1 room. The food was good, they had pizza and caramel popcorn. Provided were water and lemonade but the containers they were in are very small, as soon as the staff refilled one it was almost gone in moments. The arcade are was very nice and clean. It was also pretty spacious to walk around. It reminds me of Main Event but on a much much smaller scale. All of their games were working which is nice. You can access it by the theater or come in through their own entrance. The kids had a lot of fun especially with laser tag. Stinks that like Main Event, when you buy time on the cards you do not accumulate any points to use at the prize room. Would go back again. read more

Had such a great time at Roadies. I brought my team here for a work outing and everyone had a blast. The bowling prices were very reasonable. We went on a weekday and it was $40 per lane with bowling shoes included. I didn't personally eat there but my team did. They ordered at the bar area and once our lanes were ready, the staff was super accommodating and offered to bring the food directly to us so we could start bowling right away. What really stood out to me was the vibe. It definitely feels more adult-oriented and doesn't have that kids' arcade feel. It would be a great spot for date night or a fun night out with friends. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try the axe throwing and laser tag. Overall, Roadies is a great addition to Tucson! read more

We arrived excited and hoping to have a great experience; however we were deeply disappointed by Roadies. We rented lane 8 and at first it seemed like a decent place to bowl but I was wrong. The pins were held up by wires and every time our lane reset it raised both the 7-10 pins despite the fact it had been knocked down during the previous roll. In addition to this the pins did not react like they normally would and balls that normally would be a strike were not. I was somewhat surprised as the bowling seemed to be a major attraction at this establishment and when I contacted a worker regarding the issue he told me not to worry as they were aware of this and they had already deactivated pins 7-10 which would allow them to be automatically counted to the score. We tried to look past this and have a good time by ordering a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was horrible. It was dry and was not even equivalent to a frozen Digiorno Pizza you could buy at Fry's. To top it off our waitress who was one of the leads according to her name tag failed to bring us peppers and cheese for our pizza despite several requests. When I asked for waters for the table she stated, "It's going to be a while." When she did bring them she left the tray advising us to help ourselves. To top it off she was walking around with visible hickies on her neck. Not to classy considering it is a business geared toward children and families. This place hit the trifecta bad bowling, service and food. They earned the 1 star review. It's a shame because it seemed like it was going to be a great addition to the midtown area. read more

We went to Roadies to see a musician, Leila Lopez, play in the restaurant/bar. The place was impressive (as was Lopez -- we plan to see her again if we can). Our server was exceptional (thanks, Bee). The place is massive. The bar had a great selection of beers and wines, and, of course, the usual bar drinks. We didn't eat anything, as we'd just gone out to dinner, but the menu looked similar to Roadhouse: bar food, but a huge selection. The place is really slick and attractive. We looked around, and can see that it should do well: bowling, a massive arcade with a 'prize room' and various seating areas around the place. In semi-secluded spaces, there was axe-throwing, laser tag and more. We're planning to come back with friends, for sure, to play a bit. read more

Axe throwing, bowling, skee ball, arcade games--this place really has something for the whole family. There's food, drinks, and a nice-sized bar, so it's easy to spend a few hours here having fun. It does get very busy and extremely loud, so I definitely recommend making reservations in advance. Just walking up can mean about a 3-hour wait. read more

Roadies is our go to spot for an evening out with friends! We've been a handful of times and recently celebrated a girls night. I'm a huge fan of Roadhouse movie cinema, and I was really excited to see they were opening an arcade! It's a little pricey but, for the amount they offer, it makes for a great time. I've done axe throwing, and bowling, both have been a blast split between friends. All staff has been kind, and helpful every time we've been. You can also go in and enjoy the bar and restaurant area and watch various shows and sporting events on their numerous tv screens. The food is similar bar food sold at their movie theater, which is tasty. Their arcade is fantastic, with a lot of choices, and various, diverse, skill level games. If you're looking for a spot to entertain friends, or for a special event, Roadies is the perfect business to support! read more

I wanted to play pinball!! I had not tried out Roadies, so I thought why not! I walked in and got a Roadies card (just like other places). I walked around and really liked how the placed flowed. Also...I found 2 pinball machines!! I also found different games that were intriguing, and I wanted to try...and they were different from other places around town. These are the things I loved. HAND SANITIZER all over, so after playing a game you can sanitize. The tables are REAL wood and quite nice! There are different areas. The arcade, the bar, ax throwing, darts, bowling. Bathrooms are nice, and they have a great idea for drips from the hand soap dispensers . Let me know of you agree! I did not eat, but will the next time I visit. All the staff were nice, and helpful. Wow service was boo boo. We came at 10:50 they close at midnight. The cutoff for food was 11:00pm. I was with a friend. She got Buffalo chicken strips. I got regular chicken strips with truffle fries. During our whole time they were putting up chairs and breaking down the dining area. We had to ask our waitress multiple times for items. I mentioned to my friend about how we felt rushed and unwelcome. That it was rude to pack up the dining room and put up chair. My friend said she felt like they didn't want us here. I'd have to agree. The movie theatre is amazing. I love going and the food and service are always on point. This place is a different story and I would not come back. It was obvious our food wasn't fresh and it was barely warm. What's the point of a cutoff if the food is going to be leftover anyway? Why not just make it 10pm. read more

The Mac and cheese bites I would say would be a 6. Ranch basic but good. The black widow I drank was good, a blueberry tart cider. Water was drinkable, not disgusting. Not a ton of games like Dave and busters but enough because they have bowling and axe throwing. The service I received from Ed was good! It was not loud, you could actually hear your own thoughts. This weekend, with Grant and Swan closed and traffic detouring through Roadie's parking lot, my friends and I stumbled across this spot and decided to check it out. The good: The atmosphere is really fun--kind of like an adult Chuck E. Cheese, but not as overstimulating as Dave & Buster's. There's a lot to do, and the service was great throughout our visit. The not-so-good: Prices are on the high side. Bowling is cheaper on Groupon elsewhere, and beers were $5+ for a 12 oz pour. Food portions left a lot to be desired. My friend ordered the hummus platter and got two carrot sticks, two celery sticks, four cucumber slices, and four tiny cold pita triangles. There was still hummus left, but nothing left to dip in it. I ordered the nachos, expecting something big enough to share. What I got was maybe the size of a Taco Bell nachos order--for $18 if you add guac. More Entertainment for Tucson!!! Happy for Roadhouse to expand and add more for the community- Roadies! Incredible, energetic, and modern rustic style entertainment for adults & kids. There's Augmented Reality bowling and axe throwing. There's also a huge laser tag and unique darts. I love how open this place is. Plenty of arcades for everyone!! Food was good. Same menu as Roadhouse Cinema- you can order their popcorn too!! The meals were 8/10. Delicious but not the ver best. Fries could be better- recommend maybe shoestring to match style of food? Kitchen definitely needs to try to ensure all meals for the table come out all together and every hot dishes are actually hot. They did come to our table about room temperature- so did not quite feel as if it was fresh. Of course Roadies had recently opened- there's room for improvement with their operations and strategies. Roadies is a cool new addition for bowling, arcade games, and axe throwing from the creators of Roadhouse Cinemas. Right now they're having a soft opening as their team navigates this new business. We tried their Spark Interactive Bowling and it was fun! I wish there was more explanation of the bowling keypads when you get started, because a lot of people around us kept asking how to use the digital options to customize the projections on the lane. No one showed us, we just kind of pushed buttons until we figured it out. The food is the same as that served at Roadhouse Cinema, great popcorn and a wider food selection than most bowling alleys. So overall the food is pretty good, though a bit on the greasy side. I will say, the dining and bowling concept is a cool idea. However, I wish they'd enforce the 6 person maximum in a lane or create some kind of partition between groups because every two lanes are seated together. We rented one lane for 2 people expecting to have plenty of room and were placed next to a group of 7+, it became really crowded trying to move to bowl and eat. The other group kept sitting on open space on our reserved side. At $40-50/hr per lane on a weekend, it's not a great experience when you're crammed in with too many others because they didn't pay for enough space. Hope they learn to sort it out. read more

Waitresses and bartenders are SO low energy it gives off a weird vibe. Bar was unmanned for a good 10 min when I walked in. With waitresses staring at us instead of greeting us. The place is beautiful on the inside, really nice aesthetic, but service is LAME! There's just no life in the servers!! Sat with an empty beer glass for 20 minutes with no interaction accept a nice young waiter. You definitely could have served me more, but I'll take my biz somewhere more enthusiastic tonight. (They do need to take the food to the event room, bowling area and game areas so I do understand why it gets confusing) Our food took very long to come out. I ordered their bowl and my boyfriend ordered mozzarella sticks On the positive note, server we had was super friendly and did everything she could do provide a good service when she could. The food was decent as well. Another positive is that the singer and the guitarist they had that night were superb!!! I was excited to try Roadies, just like I was at another location. I ordered the birrias quesadillas, which should never be sold here. As a Latino, I was particularly disappointed because the soup tasted like watered-down liquid. There was also a plastic object inside of my birrias quesadilla I left it in the corner of my plate, and the quesadillas had big pieces that I couldn't determine whether they were cilantro or spinach. I was so disappointed that I didn't even try to finish eating my birrias quesadilla. The food took about an hour to arrive, which was okay, but at least they should have offered a second drink. read more

We came here on the weekend after seeing an Instagram post. The vibe and Aesthetics were amazing! Love the lounge area with the fireplace and how there are tables outside with their own firepits. We went to the bowling area and loved the aesthetics and food! They have great service at the lanes and bring you whatever you need. It was one of the worst meals that I ever experienced in my life. Not only was a food just not tasty. It came out slow and cold. I had a Beria mac & cheese, and let me tell you one bite was more than enough The service was wonderful. The staff was great with the exception of the hostess at the hostess stand, who made no efforts to assist us in having a table cleaned that have been dirty. She quoted us 30 minutes For a wait, but there were multiple empty tables, including one that we eventually sat at, and then I went and found a wonderful staff member who clean the table for me. A GREAT meal, GREAT time EVERY TIME When my partner says lets go to Roadie's for dinner, he doesn't need to ask twice... we LOVE this place!!! Bring an appetite, because the portions are generous and it's all super delicious!!! We went for the Cantina Bowl Salad, and added Salmon. Plus, we had chips and salsa and of course a big bowl of Roadhouse popcorn! The Cantina bowl was a mix of super fresh, crispy greens, wonderful cilantro rice, black beans, and so much more. The salmon we added to the salad was a gracious portion and and seared to perfection! I don't know what is in the seasoning blend Roadies's chefs have come up with, but I don't think anywhere else in town has salmon as excellent as this! And I love salmon!!! Our server (Bee) was also incredibly on top of things. She introduced herself as soon as we were seated, gave us time to put together the perfect order, and everything arrived promptly and beautifully presented. Super professional, super great energy, and she really contributed to the wonderful experience we had dining at Roadies Gastropub tonight!!! We initially came here for movies at the Roadhouse Cinema, and then they started having live music and that brought us out more often because it's always amazing (we LOVE artist Leila Lopez) but now it's just a great evening in every single way. Awesome new spot for family fun in Tucson. I love the vibe and atmosphere and I love that the game floor is big but feels manageable with kids - some game floors are just overwhelmingly big and I didn't feel that way here. They have some new games and old school traditional games as well as interactive bowling, axe throwing, a bar and an 18 and up only area. The staff were great and I really loved all their movie themed shirts. They also have laser tag and private small theaters you can rent for parties and an impressive prize room. The food was good and overall it's a great place to hang out and have fun! read more

Pretty underwhelming. Overpriced for the quality. Got a southwest Caesar salad and I guess it's because they threw corn and black beans on like an afterthought. The croutons were stale giant chopped up pretzel bites...that's a choice. If you don't have tortilla chips to go on a southwest Caesar just put regular actual crunch croutons on at least. We had 4 adults and 3 boys 11+. We bought the boys game cats and as adults we played axes and darts and then all joined up with the kids for bowling. It was so much fun. My buddy and I went to roadies 01/24/26 and we decided to play some of the arcade games they had. This is not our first time at roadies and the last time we went we did the laser tag and had my brothers birthday there. The food was pretty good and all of the staff were amazing and were on their A game. This time when we went it was around 9pm and we stayed until after closing. I have to thank the all the managers and a Team Lead Lavaughn, for letting us stay until we got our tickets from one of the games we kept getting jackpots on. we ended up leaving around 12:30 because the staff allowed us to wait for our tickets to be deposited, ( we had over 15k in tickets from one game alone) it took a solid hour for the game to count all the tickets in the mean time Lavaughn had patience like no other. And explained to the managers that the games have a 1400 ticket count limit before a manager or team lead has to swipe the card reader to allow more tickets to count. So after about 15 or so swipes and an hour of counting we left with all the tickets we won on our card. Out of all the places me and my buddy play arcade games at ( fantastics, round 1, etc) we've never had the staff be so nice and understanding at any other arcade we've been too. Thank you to all the staff for being awesome. If you're curious what the place has to offer, they have an arcade, a bowling ally, axe throwing, a bar and pretty good food, and dart throwing. We also can't forget about the movie theater connected to the food court area. they do have live music occasionally. everything is pretty averaged price as well but the one thing that sets this arcade above the rest is the atmosphere, rustic darker style arcade that really stands out and is more catered to adults! however kids fit right in with other activities as well which is super cool. Typically places like this don't have the appeal to adults so it's cool to see there things for the grown ups to do while the kids can still go do stuff. There's only one thing I wish they had and that was pool tables! It really feels they could add in some pool tables and that would really complete it. But other then that super cool must check out place and if you see Lavaughn there just know he's got your back. read more

We spent about 4 hours at Roadies on Saturday January 10, 2026. Celebrating our friend's birthday. We sat at the bar ordered a round of drinks, then lunch. The bartender was pleasant but not attentive in fact neither of them were! They were too occupied doing their side work and left other patrons waiting to order and never asked us if we wanted anything else, another drink? Nothing! Our friend, the birthday girl had to flag her down (Alyssa) every time to get another drink. The food was ok! We closed out our tab at the bar $275 then headed to the AX throwing room JD was a great instructor and very friendly and helpful. Our server Alex though friendly and took our order right away disappeared from the area when we were ready to leave (an hour later) we couldn't find him to close our tab so I found a female server cleaning tables in the bar area to close us out. So sad that a new place we were excited to try was a complete let down. We walked in and decided to get something to eat first before trying any of the games. Plenty of staff in the restaurant area, no one came up to seat us. We finally asked someone if we are supposed to seat ourselves? They said yes. We sat down and looked at the menu. No one ever came up to us to see what we wanted. We sat there for 10-15 minutes and we finally decided to leave. As we were leaving, an employee walked up to see if we wanted anything. I explained to her that we had been sitting there and it was too late, we decided to go somewhere else. Not her fault, but if there is a manager in the restaurant, they might think about better guest service. Will we go there again? Hmm, probably not. I was at Roadies last night with a couple friends, it was so fun & welcoming, the staff was so friendly our server Keenen was very efficient & fast. He answered many of our questions since we had never been there before, he recommended some appetizers that were very very good. He also told us about Happy Hour which was a NICE discount on our drinks & food. The gentleman that was over seeing the darts game that we played was very helpful & fun.
