Completely terrible experience. I show up when they're supposed to open and the alley is completely booked. I have no choice but to return three hours later to bowl. I came with my three-year-old daughter and she had her hopes up for bowling but instead we got greeted by a worker saying there is no room for you. There's a whole field trip here. Unacceptable. It says they open at 12noon. I show up at 12 and get the door, absolutely trash would not recommend. Go elsewhere. I now have to console my daughter and make her stop crying. This place is by far the best bowling alley in Tucson. There may be a wait sometimes, hence the bar reviews but you can go someplace with no wait and have a terrible time. I made a reservation several weeks in advance for a birthday party. I was called at around 5pm, the day before the birthday party which was scheduled for 2pm, telling me "there was a glitch in the system" and they couldn't keep our reservation because they had a bowling league coming. I asked what the options were, given I had less than 24 hours to re- plan a party of ten. They asked if I could change the date (what the f@$?) and when I said no, they asked if I wanted to go to one of their mutually owned bowling alleys, Tucson bowl which was nearby, and some other place that was across town. I said I would take a reservation at Tucson bowl, and then I was told they had to check if there was even availability. I got a call back another 40 minutes later to say I could go to Tucson bowl. read more

Im a regular at lucky strike and come here almost every weekend. I've never had a problem until today, manager BRI made it incredibly difficult for us to get a lane. She informed us that we would receive a lane at 10pm, when we received a message that our lane was ready she not was not only incredibly difficult and rude but also treated us terribly. We arrived with a part of 6 hoping to bowl when she gave us short and disrespectful responses. When we arrived to the lane not only was she unable to work the computer but would also watch us to mess up our roles, changing our score and putting down the barriers mid roll. I usually in joy this place but felt it was necessary to make a comment about this horrific service. read more

Very bad customer service and extremely rude staff. There's this guy named Shane who is obsessed over a cup of water. My partner was already at the door about to go out to put the water cup in the car, since he told us it was not allowed, when he came and yelled at us. No excuse for such mean vile behavior. We understood the policy and it was our mistake and we were literally on our way out to leave the cup in the car. There was absolutely no reason for him to be yelling at customers! Do not come here. I recently started back bowling two summers ago after a hiatus of about fourteen years. so far I am enjoying all the amenties it has afforded me. it has been a pleasant experience coming back. Not the same as in the past but is manageable. The staff and workers here are extremely pleasant and helpful. There are times when there's shortage of workers especially on Friday and Saturday nights when it gets hectic the desk gets very hectic, the manager does his/her mbest tom accomodate the patrons as best they can. I have never had any bad experiences from any of the staff so far. I find that the staff is doing their best in any and all circumstances. Shout-out especially to Brianna B, for the job she is doing, to be so young and energetic. She steps up to the plate when asked to. When I was younger, I use to be on a bowling league. I've been in many different cities. And I have never had such a terrible experience like I did at Lucky Strike. My birthday was September 21, 2020 and the one thing I told my boyfriend I wanted to do for my birthday was to go bowling seeing as how it has been over a year since we last went. The only problem was, we had to decide on a different bowling alley to go to because the one we usually would go to, Golden Pin Lanes, closed on June 21, 2019. One good thing, I guess you could say, or so we thought, is we recently moved and where we moved is walking distance from Lucky Strike so of course, using common sense, we decided to go to Lucky Strike for my birthday. But after that night, I will NEVER and I mean NEVER go back to that bowling alley again, even if it was the last bowling alley on the planet. With that said, yes I would of much rather give this company and zero star review but Yelp makes you choose at least one so I choose one and please tell me if I am being a bit over dramatic but I promise I will not exaggerate anything. So we arrive at Lucky Strike. We walk in and go to the counter. The Employee walked up and aske how he could help. We old him we wanted to bowl two games for each of us. It came out to $32.00, like wtf over charged. Especially because I called earlier that day and they said it is $4 per game per person so if you add that up, two games for two people: 4+4+4+4= $16 so that means $16 in taxes, I think not. The employee advised us we were on lane 5. We grabbed our shoes and went to order some food. Once we were done with that we went to our lane to get our shoes. When we went to go look for a bowling ball to use we couldn't find any until one of the employees informed us that they had all the bowling balls and they had to hand us one. I understand because of COVID but come on really?? The employee who was handing out the bowling balls looked like he was on some sort of drug. The way his eyes looked, his face, just everything about him was weird and said drug all over it. And I know I definitely would not want my kids seeing that. And I don't know about you, but anyone who is serious about bowling knows that using a house ball is different. The cracks and grooves in them can make it go different ways. Well I was bowling pretty bad because the holes for my fingers were to big so I went back to the front and asked them if I can get another ball and preferably one with smaller finger holes. They told me they didn't have any and then tried handing me a lower weight ball so I asked if it was the same weight and they said no so they tried handing me the ball that I just gave back to them. And then argued with me about it. Sorry but for a company who is "family friendly' and "customer oriented" they don't act like it. Who argues with the customer? And once that entire situation happened that same employee kept giving me dirty looks for the rest of the night?? After that, my entire night was ruined. So unless you want to be argued with when you go to try to have fun especially with your kids (I know I don't want someone arguing with me in front of my kids) don't go there!!! Go have fun somewhere else or at another bowling alley because this bowling alley over charged and likes to argue with customers. read more

Went here for a meet up with the new boyfriend's co-workers. The place was very busy! Parking wasn't too much of a problem. We had to won't well over 1/2 an hour to get our 2 lanes. We paid for 2 games each plus shoe rentals. The computer locked us out 3 times and we were told each time that we had "used our frames". The bar staff was extremely under staffed! There was one woman serving the bar and the drink window near the food stand. It took 20 minutes for me to get a glass of water... Overall, it wasn't bad. There were platy of shoes and balls, it was fairly clean, and the staff was nice enough. read more

Was waiting by the DOOR for our friend to return from the restroom AND to register and become paying patrons, when Shane rounds on, threatens us, and claims we had only remained there to "piss him off!" Had we had two seconds to gather our group, we would've returned the water to the car, and waited for our turn to bowl.
