One of the best coffee shops I nave been to from Palm Springs to Temecula this IS hands down THE BEST. From customer service to the way they make the food. The food is home made and the parfaits are just amazing and healthy.. I came in on a Tuesday morning. The line was out the door. Got inside the decor was top notch. Sadly for such a long line, I was kinda disappointed that there was only one person preparing drinks. I ordered the vanilla macchiato. Which I was informed was a traditional macchiato that couldn't be made iced. Disappointing. I also was informed since it was a traditional macchiato it would be very small. I wanted to try it so I went ahead with my order. It was $6.23 for basically 2 vanilla flavored espresso shots. The coffee there is a medium-dark roast which I loved. Unfortunately the macchiato as is was very underwhelming. Once I got back to my office, I added creamer and ice and it was perfect. Why couldn't this just be an option? I took a star away for the macchiato. And I'm removing a star for the simple fact that it was nearly impossible to hear your name being called which added to confusion. Simply writing a name on a cup would help so much. Well that's my two cents. I hope they can make some improvements. read more

Was recommended to try this coffee shop while I waited for my wife's appointment across the street. Some things I liked was the aesthetic of the shop and the vibe they had. It was cool that they had a lot of runners at the shop. Some things I didn't like and why I knocked it down was 1. the wait was pretty crazy but I guess expected for a newer coffee shop? 2. I specifically asked for no sweetener however my cold brew I ordered was insanely sweet.(my main gripe) and 3. For two coffees and 2 pastries it was $30(I couldn't even drink one of the coffees because I can't have sweetened coffee). Probably won't return as there are other coffee shops nearby. read more

My wife and I visited Roadrunner Coffee Shop recently, and unfortunately, we had a pretty rough experience. I'd honestly rate it a 2 out of 10 on the taste front. The sweet potato in the burrito just killed it for us--it really didn't work and left everything tasting sort of bland and like it was trying too hard to be "fancy" without actually being good. To make matters worse, after eating there, my wife got really sick for about two weeks. It was definitely food poisoning since that was the first thing we ate that morning. When she went back to let them know, they were not only dismissive but actually suggested maybe she hadn't washed her hands, which was just rude and ridiculous. The coffee itself wasn't great either. My cappuccino was honestly worse than what I make at home. For the kind of prices they're charging, which feel like they're trying to be all upscale, the quality just isn't there. The whole place comes off like it's aiming for some fancy Orange County aesthetic but doesn't deliver the goods. In short, we don't recommend this place. Cute coffee shop vibes only go so far if the food and drinks aren't good and the service is rude when you have a genuine issue. read more

Very mediocre food and coffee for the price. We ordered a bunch of food and they brought it out to go! Server never asked us , nor did we state we would be eating to go. Coffee latte was $7. Small cup and just average. The brekkie burrito had more vegetables than bacon and egg in it. The chicken salad and parfait were fine, nothing special. I will start my review by saying the ambiance in this shop is perfect. When you walk in, the aesthetic of it makes you feel welcome and charmed. My feelings of comfort instantly ended the second I saw the price of my 16 oz matcha. For a matcha filled to the brim with ice, it was $9.50. Now, I am as aware of inflation as anyone, yet never in this decade have I gotten such an expensive matcha, which was unfortunately decent at best. Plus, I only got a good 3 full sips before it was empty, due to the excessive amount of ice. My server was very friendly, and before I got a chance to ask why I was paying such an extreme amount of money for a "large" lavender matcha, he was asking me how my day was and other neighborly questions. My barista and the decor of the cafe is the ONLY reason why I give this 2 stars, which is the dollar amount of what my matcha was worth. read more

The coffee and front service is amazing!!!! Vibe is welcoming & baristas always smiling! The kitchen staff that i interacted with is rude extremely rude. I asked her for the wifi password and she brushed me off telling me to ask the people at the front (who were extremely busy). I got back in line and waited to ask the register for the wifi password. If i wasnt for the people up front the vibe in the cafe would not be welcoming or warm. The food also takes forever and isnt that good. This place is horrible, I got a matcha from here and it is the first to actually taste like grass, I also got a iced latte with brown sugar syrup and it is genuinely horrible, it's also very loud in here. The prices are so crazy, $7.50 for a little tiny cup, 0/10, do not recommend. read more

The beverages are not good at all. They taste bland. The pregnant worker said she could remake it (a sign stated that they can remake) however, she was rude about it & made me feel like a bother. Tried Redlands newest coffee shop today 1/3 after coming across on Instagram. I decided to try it even though reading reviews of the long lines. I got there around 9:30am and surprisingly they only had a small line which was moving slow, but it was crowded inside. No tables available whatsoever. Since it's the next best thing everybody is trying it out as it just opened around October. The cashier was nice and friendly. It is very trendy, modern and nicely decorated inside. It looks like they did a complete makeover from the previous tenants. The coffee I had was the honey fire mocha which was very good, but the chili powder they put on top gave it a different taste, I'd probably order it without it next time. I think I would definitely be back but earlier next time to beat the crowd. read more

I've been twice and both times I thought the food was tasty and my latte was made well. The only problem is that you have to fight for a table. We were there to have a meal but over half the tables were taken up by people on laptops with their single cup of coffee. All the people who were actually trying to eat were standing around waiting for a place to sit. The last time I was there, two men got up from their table to throw away their trash and the two women at the table next to them, both with laptops open and obviously known to each other, tried to move over so that they could each have their own table. One of the men came back and said he actually wasn't leaving, sat back down at the table by himself, and pulled out a laptop. All after just throwing away his empty cup and while three women were literally standing by the door holding their plates of food waiting for somewhere to sit so they could eat it. I know this is a common coffee shop problem, but especially if you're going to serve hot food from a kitchen, you need some sort of policy for people to be able to have somewhere to sit and eat it. Until then, I'll be hesitant to go back. read more

This place is very aesthetically pleasing and fits well in the downtown area of State street. I have had a chance to try their coffee twice, once at a pop up stand they held at my child's school event and for the second time at the actual cafe. Their espresso is really smooth and they use a tamp to make their signature espresso. As someone who has worked in several coffee shops I can actually tell the difference in the quality of espresso. I didn't expect to get the full flavor of the brown sugar flavored syrup option but I was pleasantly surprised. I do wish they had more flavors to choose from however. Their avocado toast was flavorful and they did ask if I wanted to add the egg for an extra charge.I really enjoyed the fact that they actually make their food in the kitchen and not just picking up in a grab and go cold fridge. This really sets them apart from other coffee shops. There is plenty of seating and our order was made pretty quickly. I would recommend this place for family's or for a study session. read more

Waited over an hour in line which is understandable for a new place. Too much of a wait for the coffee. Pretty pricey and not the best for the price and wait. I spent over $20 on the smallest size coffee and a sandwich. My girlfriend wanted the grilled cheese and soup and was told that she couldn't get the soup until 11, and it was 10:50 when we ordered...she was able to hop back in line a few mins after 11 and was told that they didn't know when the soup would be ready. She then tried to get the churro french toast and they were out of that too. So she ended up getting nothing. Very cool place with chill vibes but just wish they were more clear about availability of certain food items. read more
