I was having some issues with my 2001 Park Ave and wasn't sure if I needed an alternator or a battery. I was told by a friend that Autozone had a free service for checking your charging system, so I drove over to see what I could find out what was wrong and that is where my great experience began! I was greeted by Ben with a smile and he was quick to tell me that he could help me and that it wouldn't take long. Ben grabbed the testing computer and in maybe 20 minutes while he showed me how it works he was able to determine it was the Battery and not the Alternator. When I explained that I had an extra battery from a vehicle that had been totaled Ben never changed his demeanor and said no problem I like helping people. It was very obvious that he did in fact care about the customer! After showing me some different options for batteries if my other one didn't work, with out being pushy, I ended up buying a side post tool to change mine out. Great people can make a great experience and Ben did just that!

I waited over 20 minutes for nothing. They just lost a loyal customer who took all three of his vehicles there. HORRIBLE customer service!!! And even though I'm standing at the actual store and buying the battery from them it then somehow defaults to Eau Claire Wisconsin. I wasn't gonna pay 25% more for the battery simply because they couldn't figure out how to get it switched to the location I'm at. I finally just left. When I go to purchase stuff online I find the actual store first and then go to that and then order it that way I can make sure and see what's in stock. It's not that hard to do it correctly. I have no idea how you can take such an easy process and make it so hard and time-consuming. I guess this is why it's easier to just order it on Amazon. I've never been in a parts store before, had the part at the counter to purchase and just walked out. This is a first.

My wife scraped the side of her car against a cement post causing damage to the front bumper, right…read morefender and door. The fender was somewhat crumpled near the door. The car is otherwise pristine and we wanted it to look that way again. We used Yelp Reviews to narrow our search for a repair shop. We got several quotes, two from large shops and one from Advanced Auto Works a relatively small shop. From the start, our dealings with Tom, the owner of Advanced, made us feel entirely comfortable and confident that we could trust him. We decided not to file an insurance claim and to pay for the work ourselves. Tom said he would try to save us money if he could. He came through in a big way. One of the two shops quoted us over $3000 for the repair and said they would straighten the fender. Tom said that given the cost of the time it would take to straighten the fender, we would be probably be about the same cost to replace it. Tom's quote was about $1700, the lowest we got. Between the low price and confidence we had in Tom we went with him. He completed the job on time, the work was great and the paint was a perfect match. And on top of it, he said the parts didn't cost as much as he initially thought and knocked another $150 off the price. What a guy. Highly, highly recommend.
