Nice folks here at this Humble area Chevrolet dealership. When I was shopping for my 2021 Blazer, I did visit this dealership. We were greeted promptly and were treated kindly and with respect. We were not high pressured into buying. We enjoyed the test drive experience. I would have purchased from this dealership but they did not have what I was looking for in stock. Recently, I visited their parts department to pick up some touch up paint for my Blazer. While they did not have it in stock, they were able to place the order for me. The paint arrived sooner than that quoted time and they called to inform me that it was in. Picking it up was a breeze. They even offered to show me how to use it. Nice folks. The next time I am in the market for a new car, I will definitely give them a chance for my business. I plan to bring my Blazer in for service at this location. read more

The fact that this buisness is not acredited with teh Better Buisness Bureau and their BB rating is an "F" for not responding to any complaintes is a major red flag. I started this endeavor approx. 1.5 years ago whne I took my brand new truck there for a leaking sunroof. When it was ready for pick up, there were greasy fingerprints on the headliner. When pointed out, they smeared it around with a rag and solution and told me everything would disappear when it dried, it didnt. I took it back to have the heradliner cleaned, when it was ready for pick up my door had a huge dent in it and my bumper had a 3 inch scratch additionally, they had removed teh center console to replace a sensor and did not put everything back together correctly leaving huge gaps and misaligned pannels. Since it was a Friday evening and everyone was closing, I took pictures along with their staff, and left. I had to schedule it to come back in for body work and dropped it off, when it was ready for pick up I noticed that the sunroof was leaking again as evident by new stains on the headliner. I left it there for repair. While in repair, I was notified that they had dropped the rain simulation machine on my hood and would have to repai that as well. When ready for pick up, the dent was still visable in the hood despite passing it off as repaired. They ended up replacing the hood. When ready for pick up, the hood had a scratch on it, when pointed out, the body shop manager "Doug" drove my truck behind their building and brtough it back with some thouch up paint that was very obviously applied. When pointed out, he said you will not notice when it dries, not true. Fustrated, I just took the truck as is. Approx 6 months later the sunroof was leaking again, whgen I reached out to teh service manager Mike Mayeux via email, he stated that they could no longer fix my issue and I had to go somewhere else. I reached out to their GM Jimmy Stallings who stated he would "look into the situation" and call me back (this was in March). I followed up with Jimmy Stallings in November who did not remember me but after I recaped the situation to him, he stated "he would look into the situation" and call me back. One week later I followed up and left a voice mail with no response. I continued to leave voice messages until I finally received a call back a few weeks later. It was obvious that Jimmy Stallings had not realized who he had called and quickly became defensive. Several times he made the comment "if we did such horrible work, why do you want to bring it back?" to which I responded the same every time, because it was the closest dealership and I should expect to receive the same professional service from any Chevy dealership for a vehicle under factory warranty. Several times in the conversation he mentioned that trhis was an issue between myself and the dealership that I purchased the vehicle from (which is 3 hours away). Ultimately Jimmy Stallings told me that I would have to go somewhere else and I could not bring the truck back to them. After this experience and reading all of teh other comments it is clear that this dealership is concerned with quantity over quality and the few people with issues are expendable as long as they can keep selling to a larger crowd. There is no quality control meaning that every time I was told my truck was ready for pick up, either my wife or myself found these issues and had to point them out. I have wasted many days and hours off of work traveling back and forth to this dealershipto pick up a truck that was not repaierd to standard or has incurred new damage and, with exception to teh rain machine, was never told up front about the damge, it was left for me to discover. I highly reccomend to anyone considering buying a Chevrolet or needing service, find another dealership. Horrible customer service!! The salesman I worked with, Hunter, was amazing!! The dealership as a whole is dishonest and very unprofessional. Hunter worked so hard to find the exact Tahoe I was looking for. These cars are especially hard to find these days and he was so persistent in finding one. I actually found another one about the same time he found me this one. The other dealership was much closer to where I live and the total drive out price was $5,000 cheaper. I still wanted to go to Robbins purely because of Hunter. That original meeting on Saturday went great. They worked with me (a little...not much) on price and showed me a vehicle very similar to the one I was going to purchase. I fell in love with it!! I was told the car I was going to purchase wouldn't be in for a week. This was perfect because I was going to be out of town for a week. I let their team know this and alerted them that I would be extremely busy and hard to reach that week, but that I would respond as time permitted. I paid the "deposit" and left feeling very happy with the situation. That immediately changed 3 days later. On Tuesday I received a call from Hunter that my car had arrived. I was excited and he sent pictures. Later I received a call from his manager, Brian Stricklan, questioning when I would be by to pick it up. Not thinking anything about it, I said I was out of town (as I had said I would be when paying the "deposit") and that I wouldn't be able to pick it up until the following Monday (6 days from then). I could immediately tell this was going to be an issue. His whole demeanor towards me changed. He started speaking to me like he didn't believe that I really wanted to purchase the vehicle. My Tahoe had been stolen the week before and this is why I was looking to replace. I was honest about this from the very beginning about waiting on insurance. Again, I didn't think this would be an issue because I had been told the car would not be in for one week. I started getting nervous that I wasn't going to get the car. I even questioned them several times that they wouldn't actually sell it since I had paid a "deposit." I was told I needed to take action soon. I started panicking not sure what to do. I had an extremely stressful/high demanding event I was managing at work and didn't have time to deal with this situation. I received several (and I mean several...maybe 12-15 calls/texts) on Wednesday morning asking when I would be in and if they could deliver the car to me where I was. This was completely ridiculous as I would have had to cancel my flight back home to drive the car back, plus find time in my already incredibly hectic day to deal with going through the paperwork and officially buying a car. They made an already stress situation almost unbearable. I did not want to lose the car after I had finally found it, but there was nothing I could do for another 5 days (at this point). I was told that the GM, Jimmy Stallings, would not hold the car for my any longer. That by holding it for me they were possibly losing a sale. Come on, these cars are in such high-demand, there was no way I was losing them a sale. The whole situation is totally ridiculous and I believe they were pressuring me to get it sold by the end of the month (again don't know for sure, but just my perception). So basically the "deposit" you put down for a car at this dealership does nothing. When I signed the paperwork when I put down the deposit there was no time frame of when the car had to be purchased, but then again, I had been told the car wouldn't even be in for ONE WEEK. Given they were closed on Sunday, they sold it to someone else (yes it sold within minutes) within 2 days. I will never do business with this greedy dealership ever again. They may act like they care about you, but they don't care as long as they can sell the car. Again Hunter is amazing. I would definitely purchase a vehicle from him, but I refuse to give Robbins any more business. Do yourself a favor take and your business elsewhere. read more

Beyond disappointed with dealership after buying a total of 6 vehicles from them over the past 15 years. Took our sons truck to body shop on June 5 for what should have been a job done in 3 weeks at best. Didn't get the truck back till July 19. We lost 3 weeks due to lack of communication from the shop. To the point the manager left a message for our contact person to call us and did not. Ended up paying for a rental out of pocket after the 30 days were up from insurance. I could not make a deal and neither should you. Went by to see a vehicle, advertised price on Robbins Chevrolet, Car Gurus, and True Car all matched . Test drove the vehicle, it needed work but was priced fair. I was assured by Mr. Castillo that it would be checked out prior to final sale and repairs "if needed" would be completed prior to delivery. I assume that would mean any repair that hinders the safe operation of the vehicle or would cause it to fail inspection. This is my rating based on my personal experience today in no particular order your experience may vary: Red flag #1 Sat down with Mr. Castillo to talk numbers, standard deposit but with unusual terms for the industry "a fully refundable" told him that it would be refundable if you decided not to sell but if I backed out it would not be refundable. He assured me that it was refundable either way. ( I am sure it is not, but I could be wrong) Red Flag #2 Mr. Castillo wanted to only talk about my monthly payment options. I told him I work on an out the door price not payments. Red Flag #3 Mr. Castillo needed to talk with his manager before showing me the vehicle "to make sure its for sale because it is high mileage" Red Flag #4 Mr. Castillo needed to talk with his manager to get "the best price" of a vehicle with an advertised price on their website and other sites. Red Flag #5 The best price was 8,000 over advertised price. I called him some choice words and walked out. Mr. Castillo would have rather died for his manager/ dealership than to be a grown man with integrity and simply say they either changed the price or any other excuse. However he strait face lied, as though this is a common occurrence, and said the price on their website was always that high. It was not I literally looked at it on their website in their parking lot before I test drove. At some point during the hour the price was changed. This dealership is a manipulative liar. This dealership has zero integrity. This dealership has a poor moral compass. This dealership should not be trusted. read more

They did not tell me upfront the part was not in stock nor when it would arrive. This was not a critical part. Two more days after they received it before the part was installed. My car wouldn't started and I got it towed here. I booked an appointment at 9:30am and I got there at 9:30am so I got a new battery and oil change. Remind you I was there at 9:30am I didn't leave until 2pm. There was 3 people in the lodge and the lot was pretty empty so I figured 2 hours wait time but to my surprise I was there 4 and a half hours. I received no updates on my wait time or my repairs. I can't speak about the sales or service staff, but I most certainly can speak about collision. This has been a long journey since I was hit head on while driving my 2020 Camaro. My vehicle was taken to Robbins Chevrolet for repair. My expectations were high, but reality quickly set in. The job they did was absolutely awful. There were gaps, holes, and misalignments everywhere. Nothing fit right. My car looked hideous. I got on them several times to correct their shotty work, and each time the service manager, Doug Boss would make excuses and tell me it was the best they were going to get it. I was mortified. I gave up and asked to speak to the general manager, Jimmy Stallings. He proceeded to tell me shit happens and to get over it. This vehicle eventually ended up at Sullivans Paint and Body where my pride and joy came back looking brand new. All of the things that Robbins told me could not be fixed. Robbins even put the wrong tire on my Camaro. Instant driving hazard. To this day the only thing Jimmy Stallings can say is he does not care. I tried to get him to look into what happened and he threw me out of his office. So, I have pictures of everything should anyone be interested. Stay away from these people read more

DON'T TRUST ROBBINS CHEVROLET!!! Car dealerships have a bad reputation. Robbins Chevrolet in Humble is one of the reasons why. My husband didn't want to go to Robbins as he had read so many bad reviews. I talked him in to it. First mistake! I need a car. I have an idea of what I want. After searching online I found one that was a strong possibility. I called and spoke to a salesman named Parker. I asked what the bottom price would be and what extra charges were added. He said, "We don't add anything extra. People tell me all the time how surprised they are that that there isn't $1,000 to $2,500 added on." So they had passed my first test. Regarding the bottom price, Parker said he would speak to his manager and try to get me the lowest price. When he called me back with car price and bottom line, I was driving, jotted the numbers down, and didn't think about them again until we went to look at the car a few hours later. That's when we realized the "bottom" price was $586 more than the "advertised" price I was hoping to lower. Then the bottom line had a "Robbins Advantage" charge of $139. What was the point of asking and answering questions if they meant nothing??? The car may have been a fair price, but you see, I no longer trust Robbins Chevrolet. I no longer trust the elusive manager who kept changing the prices. I no longer trust the salesperson. And I do not trust the car. If you will lie about the little things, what else are you lying about? I was honest with you. I came to buy a car. You tried every dirty trick to play the used car game. I don't know how you have any good reviews from my experience today. You must have salespeople sit around and write them. With the treatment I experienced today, it can't be from customers. My how times have changed! So has this dealership. After 5 vehicles bought there and using them for service, yesterdays service was the worst! Done with Robbins! Express service center is a JOKE! Don't try to take a coupon there, they say those are only for the main shop, as if they are a separate business. Coupon doesn't say that! They just want to charge what they want and do what they want. I asked about the 120K service, she tried to sell me a tune up. First of all that was already done (there)! Second of all that's NOT what a 120k service is according to the "main shop".... Basically if you want real service there go to the main shop. Bought a 2017 Traverse LT2 for my wife last weekend. The sale went pretty smooth. Overall we were extremely happy with the vehicle and somewhat please with the price we paid as well as the buying experience. Until we found out about the lie we were told. We asked if we could tow our pop up on family vacations and we were told all we had to do was install a hitch and light harness and it could tow over 5000 pounds because the "Traverse has class leading towing capacity" along with its "Class leading safety rating", so needless to say we were pleased and felt the vehicle was right for us and purchased it. When purchasing the hitch and harness we were told our particular model could only tow 2000 pounds! And only with the driver, No passengers or cargo! Turns out our model does not have the V92 trailering package. Apparently only vehicles with the package can tow the class leading 5200 pounds which Chevrolet claims. We would have happily paid for that package if we knew that it was required. Guess we should have done some research online rather than relying on an actual Chevrolet salesman at a Chevrolet dealership. But I would certainly expect if you are selling me a vehicle and answering important deal breaking and possibly revenue generating questions you should be able to answer them correctly or at least honestly! I don't know let me find out for certain is a completely acceptable answer. We cannot even use the vehicle for our family vacations as we anticipated! Salesman only wanted the sale which was an expensive lesson for us! Do your research before you buy do not rely on a Robbins Chevrolet salesman to give you honest answers about the vehicles they are trying to sell you because they only want the sale! Great discounts, even in this market crisis. People there are discounts offered for many reasons, you have to ask for them. Don't be shy. Absolute worst dealership ever!! My vehicle was towed to this dealership after I was in a accident on my way to the airport picking up family for my husbands funeral. ( I was hit by a guy who ran a red light ) My vehicle was released to someone who was not on the registration or the insurance.... they also allowed them to forge my name to the ins check for over 7K. In order to avoid the buying hassle i used my company's supplier discount on top of rebates and got a quote from their internet department. After calling three times to ensure the automobile was on the lot I arrived only to be shown a completely different vehicle. After an hour they located the vehicle and said they could get it and then was shown a price that was almost 2k more than what they told me. After haggling the price back to the original quote and promising delivery the next day, they called me to tell me they had "Good News!" they couldn't get the car they promised but found another exactly like if for $3k more. Went back and said they could get me in something other and when I waited for 3 days and multiple calls from salesman that said "we got you covered, come In and let's get it finalized" only to get a call back and say "I'm sorry we were looking at another customer profile, we can't help you at this time." I took my car to get repaired to Robins Chevrolet in Humble Texas. They had my car for 6 day. I had to call several times to get an update. They had to order a battery cable for my car and after the six days, it still had not arrived. They put my car back together and said I could drive it until the part came in. Hmm. It is now 7 days later, my car won't start and I have had zero updates! I have already paid in full for the repairs!!! The entire time my car has been at the dealership until now, I only received one update via email and two copies of my bill!!!! This is not acceptable!!!!! My car is now sitting in my driveway inoperable!!!! I called to speak to the service Manager Mike and got his voicemail!!!! No response this far!!!!! Does Robins Chevrolet have customer service? I was extremely satisfied with my service advisor Alex Fierro, I had a list of issues that needed to be discussed and taken care of on my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. He took the time to thouroughly listen to my concerns and address each one of them and have them all corrected. I am also very pleased with the repair and maintenance work Robbin's Chevrolet has always done on my Tahoe and this is why I believe it still runs like it did the day I purchased it brand new. BIG THANKS TO ALEX FIERRO AND THE MECHANICS AT ROBBIN'S CHEVROLET YOU GUYS REALLY TAKE CARE OF ME!!! Took it to another dealership and it was fixed and all under warranty. The service person "Paul" actually hung up on me when I told him I would take it somewhere else. Purchased a 2017 silverado ltz z71 midnight edition. Emailed a few different dealerships, getting qoutes. Went into Robbins Chevrolet, Gary Kingcaid was my salesman and very easy to work with. Came to an agreement quickly and received an agreeable amount on my trade. The only negative thing I can say is they should look into better "detailers"... a brand new black vehicle shouldn't have swirl marks already being driven off the lot. You could definitely tell they dried it with a chamois or dirty rag. For what a vehicle cost these days, a fairly good detail shouldn't be unreasonable. read more

I have been trying to post my review from my experience last week when I took my husbands truck in for some work but somehow my review keeps getting rejected or deleted. Maybe it is the way I was wording things so let me try this with less profanity. Last week I took my husband's truck in for work, my 4 year old daughter was with me and while I was waiting in the lobby I over heard the girl cashier flaunting a "intimate " cookie around in all of the guy's faces trying to be funny saying "okay I'm about to eat my d***k". I didn't see any of them find it funny. I am not sure what kind of business is going on but this isn't it. I wasn't the only customer who was in the lobby and I find it amusing that nobody has left a review over the same issue. My daughter didn't need to hear it and neither do I think any of the other customers as well. So unprofessional.
