The service manager Scott was phenomenal. I bought my car on Oct. 19th and had some warranty issues with scratches in the paint. Clear Lake Nissan "tried" to fix it, sent it to an off site body shop, wasted my time and gas driving back and forth. One trip to Robbins and Scott assured me they could take care of it. A few hours with my car and I got it back with 2 recalls fixed and the original complaint improved. It's not perfect, but it's a huge improvement over what it was. All I had to do was provide him with my existing case number from Nissan Customer Care and he took care of the rest. I had the weirdest experience here. The sales rep, Charles Jefferson was very unprofessional. All the time, I was getting information on my trade-in, he kept trying to get too touchy while talking. Then his speech went down to being outright disrespectful when I got called baby. Then he rants and raves about himself, his family life, and that he didn't need the job but was just working for a short time, blah blah blah. It was truly a horrifying experience. Visited this dealership on Saturday 01/28/17 to test a Frontier. I shared with the salesperson, Justin Brown, that I would not be purchasing for at least three weeks and shared that with the ? sales-manager. I called Justin on Wednesday evening, asking for a drive out quote for a 2017 Frontier and if he could get me 4 tickets to the Humble Rodeo BBQ Cook-off. He said he would see what he could do to earn my business. I shared with, with my wife standing next to me that I was not in a hurry about the quote and would not be purchasing right away but would like the tickets for this weekend.. Justin called, on Thursday and said he could not give a quote over the phone, that I would need to come in for the quote and tickets, to earn my business. I reiterated I would not be buying soon, but had no problem with coming in for the quote. And, I thought to get the tickets. I went in this Friday morning around 11:00 to get the quote and the tickets. I got the quote after about an hour while, even stating many times I would not be buying TODAY. I got NO cook-off tickets, supposedly because I was not purchasing TODAY. I asked Justin if I told him over the phone that I was not purchasing soon and he said, I DON'T REMEMBER. Their sell prices were very competitive and the numbers that were negotiated at time of sale is honored when it's time to sign the final paperwork. If you do decide to goto Robbins Nissan to buy a new car, I highly recommend asking for Bobby Welch in sales if you want that personal touch. Bobby is trustworthy and will get you taken care of from start to end and then afterwards when you need servicing or anything else. He has a very open communication and will give you his direct number to support you directly. I also wanted to recognize Rebecca Oliver whom did all the the final paperwork. Rebecca did an excellent job with going through all the paperwork (bill of sale, title, financing, extended warranties, etc) in detail and answering all the questions that I had. I located a vehicle on carsdirect.com that was listed as being at Robbins. Since it was a long drive and i was bringing my 8 month pregnant wife with me (which i told him), i called ahead and specificaly asked Rueben if the vehicle was still available. He took my number and called back in 5 minutes, "we have that vehicle". So i drive an hour and a half, get there, and get slammed with all kinds of offers on a new vehicle of the same model as the used one i was looking for. After well over an hour of explaining that the new vehicle was simply out of my price range, i just walked to the used car section, where i was told that the vehicle i had CONFIRMED was there had ACTUALLY BEEN SOLD A WEEK BEFORE. I understand you need to bring customers into the store, but telling me an outright lie is crossing the line. I agree with another reviewer, lotta scumbags in that dealership, particularly Sabre, who looks and acts like a snake oil salesman out of a western movie. read more

I did business with these people in Oct. 2015. I bought a 2015 Juke from them in March, and sold it back to them in October because I was moving out of the area. and would not need a car at my residence. They took advantage of me and refused to give me the correct sum which was the difference between $16,600 selling price and the Wells Fargo payoff ($8805). According to the corrupt general manager-Chris Wilcox-there was an accumulation of more than $350 in interest from Oct 9-Oct 29, when they finally decided to "cut my check". I guess he thought I was responsible for not paying my bank the correct sum. So Robbins-Nissan shorted me more than $500 on the first check they handed my agent- because they did not pay Wells Fargo off correctly. They tried to lowball the bank, so Wells Fargo refused to turn over the title to them without the correct payoff. This is what keep my payoff in limbo for more than a month. There are some sleazy people working at this dealership, so be careful. And yes they will cheat anyone. So don't ask "why me" because they did it to a retired Black senior citizen-ME!!! I bought a 2016 Frontier at Robbins Nissan 2 weeks ago, Talk about no service after the sale dealer, I spent $25000 for this vehicle. After picking up my plates this past Friday I went to install them and to my surprise there was no place to mount the front plate. The holder was not there and had never been installed. Texas requires a front plate. I called my salesman (Brandon) about the missing bracket and was told It was a used truck and the part would cost me about $60. I should have read the reviews. I figure now I just have to go up and make sure they have it in stock. I dont call because I dont want to deal with a salesman that is going to put a bunch of extras on it before I get there, has happened to me before. So I go up there and find the exact vehicle in the listing. I am happy and go to find the salesman to show him the listing and tell him I want to buy this vehicle. This is when unethical practices begin. I begin to get the story there are extras on the vehicle and that I have to pay for those, exactly something I have be through before. I only needed to replace the terminal port on my battery. My battery was good and didn't need to be changed but then conveniently showed low voltage when they tested it at the dealership. I didn't want to leave the lot without a resolution and ended up buying the battery. They told me everything was fine and I trusted them. A week later my starter goes out and when I got my starter replaced somewhere else, they told me the battery was not the problem and they wondered why I was told that it was. After them saying would be 1400-1500 to fix my light went home and bought the HID light for my car and turned out all the sudden I had the light made for a 2008 maxima which is not the same light made for my car since the model changed in 2008. Fixed it myself after finding a small crack in headlight fixture and switching the light. Silicone did the deal and cost me 2 hrs time and $110.00. Don't trust these people. read more

There was a recall issued 4 years ago for my 2007 Nissan Altima for the I-key fob. They took away the key I had and gave me a new one and reprogrammed it. I had a spare key fob in Austin, but I was not able to take that in for the recall because I left the country for a couple months. I didn't think much about it as long as I had one good key, and when I got back to the states it had honestly slipped my mind to take the spare back and get it taken care of. Fast forward to several days ago, I lost my original set of keys and was forced to use my spare. This key fob was not recognized by my car, couldn't get it to start, and the alarm went off every time I tried to enter the vehicle. Today, I towed in my car to a dealership in San Antonio (where I live now) and tried to get the issue taken care of. They notified me that when the original recall was being processed they (Robbins Nissan) should have given me TWO (2) new keys, but I was only given one! So now the cost of a new reprogrammed key fob is going to run me $350, which is something I should've never have had to even think of paying for considering the service department failed to perform their due diligence and give me both sets of keys. I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs to file a complaint about what I thought was the issue, but now I need to call back and clarify the issue. This is an EXTREME inconvenience considering I couldn't use my car at all and go home for the winter holidays to see my family. I have put my friends and family in the Humble/Houston area on notice and I suggest you all stay away from this dealership as well. read more

This dealer got my number from a Nissan sign-up booth at a race in Austin. Under "contact" I put no, and said that I wasn't looking for another vehicle for at least 1 year. The salesman called me repeatedly, despite being told I wasn't interested. He was pushy and insistent that I come test drive a GTR. He even went so far as to track me down on LinkedIn and attempted to connect with me. At this point I stopped taking his calls, hanging up, even blocked his number after continual harassment. He called me from different numbers, had other salesmen call me, wouldn't take the hint that I DO NOT WANT A NISSAN. I just wanted the hat, for my brother, and it turned into a two month nightmare of harassment. I only rate the dealer for his actions because other representatives contacted me as well. I visited the dealership today after receiving a "pre-qualified" offer. Since I am in the market for a new vehicle I thought I would give them a try. I visited the dealership today and was greeted by a young salesman named Christian and another gentleman named Leo. I completed the initial paperwork and began the process. Upon arriving, I had a budget and vehicle in mind. However, Christian and Leo showed me to a brand new Nissan Sentra. Because my husband and I are attempting to re-build our credit, rather than object, I decided to give the Sentra a try. On the upside, it is brand new and Nissan is a quality brand. On the down side, I get much less car at a higher price. However, several things concerned me about the "sales pitch" that just did not make sense. I was told the bank would not approve me for a used, less expensive vehicle without a co-signer (??). Strike one. I was told I was financed for a certain amount however, the car they offered me was 4k over that amount. Strike two. Finally, the car they were attempted to sell me was listed online for . . . get this . . . 8 thousand less than what they offered it to me at. Strike three. I left the dealership with a promise to think about it. I would be more than happy to do business with them, if they were to offer the vehicle at a fair and reasonable price. Instead, I feel as if they tried to take advantage. I still intend to sleep on it but unless they can deal honestly and fairly with me, I think I may have to take my business elsewhere. read more

First, I have to realize because I didn't do my homework, I got hosed on the purchase price of a certified pre-owned car from Robbins Nissan. The car is an 2010 Altima 2.5 coup. I traded in a 2005 Nissan Sentra and the sales person let me put $500.00 down in addition to the $1000.00 for my car. This is where I kick myself in the butt for not doing my homework. I financed the Altima for $22,446.95 plus finance charges. To my surprise when I visited their web site a few days later I see a car with the same make and model and VIN number on the web site priced at $16,991.00 additionally, I found a yellow sales tag in the back of the car indicating a special sale for $15,559.00. I ask the sale manage, who after a week is no longer there, if he could adjust my purchase to the figure I saw on their web site, and would you know it, after I had informed him of the difference the web pages on Robbin Nissan site was changed. If you shop at this dealership be careful to do your homework first by checking their site, Kelly's blue book to make sure that the price they are offering you is fair, because If I had researched better I could have gotta a better deal. We were here yesterday buying a Nissan Rogue. We negotiated everything over the phone before we got there, to make sure there were no surprises. We were very pleased with our salesman, Emmanuel Iboa, if you're coming to shop here, ask for him! The dealership, Jordan Fournet specifically, did admit they had made a mistake in their quote by giving us a $1000 rebate. They were trying to beat the price of another dealership we were talking to. Their mistake worked in our favor and we were very pleased they owned up to it and honored the cost they quoted us. Everything was going smoothly right up until we were ready to get the financing started. First they told us they couldn't get the car washed because the car wash team shuts down at 7:30pm. Why would the car wash team get to leave before all the deals are done? This doesn't seem right, and now we have to take the car back up there, which is a good 30 minutes from where we live. Just inconvenient. Next they took FOREVER working through our paperwork, making us nervous they had added extras or changed our deal somehow. Sure enough, it was different when they finally got around to talking to us about it. We bought yesterday because Nissan was offering 0% financing for 60 months for the month of March. We told the sales team multiple times that we wanted this deal and they confirmed we would qualify for it after running our credit. However, once we got to the final paperwork we saw a 3.6% interest rate on the deal. We ask our finance person, Paul Christian, why it was there to which he replied we could either have the 0% and lose the $1000 rebate, or keep the rebate and the 3.6%. I was furious, as this was not part of our original deal and they were obviously trying to make up for their mistake in the original quote. Paul was talking fast and brushing over it like it was nothing and we were exhausted after sitting in the dealership for 3 hours waiting to get everything done. It's just disappointing that they were so comfortable changing the deal we had previously agreed to. Overall, this was definitely one of the better dealerships I've ever dealt with. Just make sure you know your numbers and don't let them push you around on the interest rates and extras (extended warranty, etc.). read more

So disappointed! I purchase my 2009 Murano from Robbins and had a great experience. Not this time! I wanted to trade in my old Murano for a 2016. When I went to test drive the car, we ran out of gas. A tow truck had to come and give us gas so we could finish the test drive. I was very honest about my intentions to purchase this car. I was paying cash and told them before I left for the evening I wanted their BEST price and a trade in price for my Murano. The price they gave me for my trade in was RIDICULOUS! The price they gave me for the new Murano was high but I was prepared to counter until I saw this bull s**t charge of $1,500 for wheel locks and some other crap. How do prospective buyers just ignore that trumped up charge? I looked at the guy and asked if he was serious. He said "well, most dealers charge a destination fee, you don't see that there do you"? I got up and left and they called me the next day and offered to take another $1,000 off the car. They have a bunch of kids working there as salesmen and I feel sorry for them because the management is so sleazy and they are training these young guys to be just like them. I ended up purchasing a beautiful Lexus RX350. I got a great price, they gave me twice as much for my trade-in and there weren't any bogus charges when we did the paperwork. Be careful buying from there the cars have issue, the charge they may want to charge you for there inspection they did before selling car, ask for that money back because the cars are taken not to Nissan if it is not a Nissan car , some to jiffy lube for oil change etc.. the cars are not checked out properly and the only good person that helped was ERiC, the sales manager Humerto Escamilla will not follow through. They tried to give me $3000 for a 2013 model in great condition. It may have had 144k miles on it, but I was already a step ahead & had it appraised from another dealer already for $6000. They tried to screw me on that, then try to talk me into selling the car out right, meanwhile buy a totally diff car I wasn't interested in. Let's not forget we know what our credit scores are & they tried to tell us they were 60 points lower. They didn't even run our credit. I know they didn't. We've had that ran too by a car dealer, so we know what it is for sure. They came up with so many excuses. This dealership is the salesmen your momma told you about. I only hit one star because I had to on this site! This place is horrible! I bought not one but two cars from Robbins and I have been dealing with them for 13 years. It has been awful! The first car, a complete lemon, that I brought in every year for four years for the same problem. I finally got so frustrated that I got a new car thinking that my first one was an isolated case. Silly me. This second one is not even paid off yet & it lives at the dealership repair department. So much so that when I call up there I don't even have to give my name. They know my voice. The service department finds all kinds of ways to squeeze a dollar out of you & in my case never seem to be able to solve the problem I bring the car in for. I needed new tires for my car and surprisingly to me, Robbins Nissan had the best deal. I also got an oil change while I was there. The work was done in 1.5 hours, 30 minutes less than promised. There was one small glitch. When I drove the car away, it was pulling to the right so they didn't get the alignment quite right. I turned around and took it right back in and it was fixed immediately. They apologized and told me the tech hadn't taken it for a drive because my state inspection was expired. I was glad they told me because I am new to Texas and had made the assumption I would be notified when I needed a new inspection like I had been where I previously lived. The team got me the address of the inspection station and I got it taken care of immediately. I've gone to this dealership multiple times and have always had a good experience. They are much more customer service oriented than the dealership in another state where I bought the car. So new tires, oil change, up-to-date inspection. All is great. read more

Long story short, advertisement of CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED was false, tried adding charges for service plan without explanation until asked.(BUYERS BEWARE) i brought the car in for an alignment 3days later and was told there was a leaking strut,bent wheel and it was my fault. I am sooooo angry !!! So my SM Erick tells me he had it chkd again & the serviceman Anthony is lying for a commission chk (strut and wheel issues totaled nearly $1500 according to Nissan). So i take it to my mechanic and the leaky strut is confirmed however there is no bent wheel (LIE)!! went back to SALES MANAGER RISWAN DURANI and he basically told me o well too bad you bought it and we don't chk for leaking struts and im not gonna fix it ! WOW offered no apologies whatsoever. I called back for his name and another MGR guy Lopez answers tells me they are going to try working with me because he feels bad. He asked for my #said he would call me back and I'm still waiting 3 days later.THESE GUYS GIVE NISSAN A BAD NAME. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER FROM ANY OF THEIR DEALERSHIPS AND WARN ANYONE THINKING OF VISITING THIS DEALERSHIP !! I'm still very disappointed and i didnt deserve to be treated so poorly. My daughter's 17th birthday present was not a pleasant experience ..Thanks Robbins Nissan for potentially and knowingly putting my kid in a possible safety hazard.
