Friends introduced me to this place a few years ago and it now has become a ritual stop if i am on the mountain drinking or visiting friends. Their wines are fine examples of style and taste that can only come from Spring Mountain. I look forward every summer to the release of their summer blend, a refreshing combination of fruit, acid and floral -- a great everyday wine. If you go ask about their secret wine, its an amazing 50% Cab 50% Merlot blend from vines that are "side by side." Its worth a visit, the staff are warm and welcoming and know their stuff. Drink Up!

Absolutely perfect place for a wine tasting in Napa. Great wines, superb location and excellent staff. The cab franc is a must try.

Keenan Winery was recommended to us by the wine buyer at our local wine shop. I was trying to do a variety of tastings and thought a Spring Mountain winery was a good choice. It's a pleasant drive up Spring Mountain Road and there is a nice view from the balcony in the tasting room. Reservations are required and can be made online through CellarPass. Tastings here are more casual and low-key than other wineries, which I prefer. I tend towards chardonnay and big, bold red wines. They had a nice selection of both. My husband particularly liked the Zinfandel. We ended up buying a 2013 Chardonnay, two 2012 Merlots, a 2012 Cabernet Franc, a 2012 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and a 2012 Zinfandel. Since it's summer now and our order has to be sent across the country, they are holding it for a Fall shipment. I look forward to getting it. Cheers!

Dollar-for-dollar, I will challenge anyone to find a finer blend than Keenan's 50/50 Cab/Merlot "Mernet".

I am a member of V Sattui for several years, but never had the pleasure to experience the wine and food pairing. It was soooooooooo DELICIOUS. Chef Jeffrey Lloyd presented each dish and explained the ingredients. The Ahi Two Way with a delicious Carpaccio and a scrmptuous Tartare. It was paired with a 2025 Los Carneros Chenin Blanc and a 2024 Mt. Veeder Dry Riesling, which is one of my favorites for white wine. I was then pleasantly surprised with the Asparagus Soup. Who knew? When I say it was good, I wanted to lick the bowl and ask for more, and I don't even like Asparagus. The thought of consuming the poached quail egg made me feel some type of way. It may have been my first time, but it won't be my last time. DELICIOUS. The soup was paired with a 2023 Los Caneros Chardonnay and an aromatic 2021 Grenache. The best was definitely saved for last. The entre was swine on swine but it was not a crime, it was DEVINE. Prosciutto Wrapped Pork Tenderloin. This was so tender and juicy that it melted in my mouth.( I felt like Homer Simpson.) This was paired with a to die for 2022 Collina D'Oro Pinot Noir and my favorite 2022 Vittorio's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. The Sommelier was very knowledgeable and took time to explain how each paring complimented the menu. Service was GREAT, food was GREAT, but the wine was EXCELLENT....

She was fun, informative, energetic, great sense of humor and quite knowledgeable about the wines and the history of the castle. Her energy made the tasting! I will be honest, I was hoping the wines would have been better but the experience completely made up for it, and then some. I expected the Cabernet Sauvignon to be big and bold as these are the flavors of Calistoga and Napa Valley. That said, we enjoyed the Chardonnay Reserve, Sangiovese and Serata, which is a blend of reds. Also enjoyed the La Fantasia. We left the castle all smiling and chatting about how wonderful and fun our host, Riddhi, was and even spoke with her on the way out. She is a gem. We all enjoyed the experience and the tasting. Thank you Riddhi, for a great time and your warm sense of humor and hospitality!

Even after multiple visits, walking through the castle still feels like stepping into Europe. From the moat and drawbridge to the underground cellars, the entire property captures the atmosphere of a medieval Italian castle, making it well worth the visit even before the wine tasting begins. The highlight of every visit is still my favorite wine, La Fantasia. This lightly sparkling Italian-style rosé is sweet, refreshing, and incredibly easy to drink. It offers bright notes of strawberry, raspberry, and mixed berries, balanced by a gentle fizz that keeps it from feeling overly sweet. It's the kind of wine that both casual wine drinkers and enthusiasts can enjoy. Served chilled, it's especially refreshing on a warm Napa afternoon and pairs wonderfully with desserts or simply as a relaxing treat on its own. Beyond La Fantasia, the winery consistently produces excellent wines across its portfolio. One of the perks of being a member is having access to exclusive releases and special tastings that aren't always available to the public. The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and never pushy, which makes every visit enjoyable and relaxed. There are countless wineries in Napa, but few combine architecture, atmosphere, and wine quite as successfully as Castello di Amorosa. Whether it's your first trip to Napa or your tenth, this is a place worth returning to again and again. And somehow, I never seem to leave without bringing a few bottles home.

I am a white wine connoisseur because of my dietary restrictions with most ingredients in red wines, especially cherries and plum, that trigger my stomach pain and headaches. I have missed enjoying red wine because of this. I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about! I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. It felt like a vacation getaway being in the tasting room building, admiring the breathtaking stained glass art, all of the art inside and the beautiful art and nature views outside. I appreciate the PEJU staff and management team who welcomed us and were kind to us all the way to the end of our wine tasting experience when we left. This is the kind of treatment that makes us want to return. Napa is a special place for friends, family, and me, and PEJU is now an indelible memory in my Napa adventures! Todd clearly enjoys his important professional position, is passionate about wine and the wine experience, and brings so much joy to customers! I can't recommend him and PEJU enough! Todd went above and beyond to give us a VIP experience and even gave me a bag full of wine corks for my art project after I told him about this and asked for some of their wine corks we saw lined up in their wine uncorking and pouring area. Thank you, Todd!

The grounds are gorgeous inside and out, and I really enjoyed the stained glass, large open windows, and the statues and the koi pond area outside. The service was extraordinary, and I had a great time learning a bit about the different wines PEJU offers from Joseph. I tried quite a few different wines, and really liked how there are a few unique offerings here that you can't find elsewhere - I ended up getting a bottle of their Province, the Farm, and their late harvest orange muscat. PEJU is also one of the few wineries with a permit to serve food. If I had known ahead of time, I would've planned to eat here! The rilettes were super tempting, but Joseph advised that if I was planning to eat a meal afterward to stick to the chips and dip - this ended up being quite a generous portion as well, and I really enjoyed the goat cheese truffle dip alongside the wine tasting :) Overall, PEJU is definitely a beautiful winery to visit with excellent service, and I'll definitely be back!
