Dr. Nishikawa and his staff have done my dental care needs for the last 20 year. I've been with them long enough to have one front tooth fixed bridge replaced that needed replacing. The thing I really like best about Dr. Nishikawa is he doesn't do unnecessary work and inflate his bill. He's totally honest and when he does need to do anything with your teeth you can be sure it's being done by the best. I go three times a year to get my teeth cleaned because I want to take them with me. Along with cleaning I also receive the oral cancer screening and full mouth x rays. The front office is excellent and always call to remind me of appointments. All in all I would highly recommend Dr. Nishikawa and his staff. read more

These guys are the best! Dr. Nishikawa is caring and kind and works to prevent damage to teeth and gums before it occurs by recommending timely treatments and home care. Each of the hygienists I've visited do a thorough and professional cleaning and even helped to coach me on better brushing techniques so I can spend less time in the chair. I really enjoy the nature videos that distract me and make the time go by quickly! The front office staff also are efficient and organized, I've never had a long wait and they always schedule a phone reminder before the appointment to keep me on track! Honestly, I was a bit hesitant leaving my house for the first time to go have my mouth examined and worked on during this pandemic, but my trust in Dr. Nishikawa and his team eased my fears. I have tried three time to be removed from the mailing list and was given a different number to call. I was told it takes some number of cycles to be removed yet 6 months later I am calling them again as I got yet another tree killing 8 PAGE full color promotion in the mail. This is maddening that I can't stop this mail from coming. The office doesn't care. at least I recycle it. another environmental disaster. go somewhere else read more

The best! I've been going to Dr. Nishikawa for about 10 years. He's great. He also has the best front office staff and hygienists. They're so friendly and helpful. Service is great. They have a TV screen I can watch while I'm getting work done and the most beautiful view of an outside garden from my patient chair. I don't even live or work near their office anymore but I will not switch because they're so awesome. read more

My dentist for the last 30 or so years... the best dentist I've ever been to! Painless always, and exceptional work always, and an incredibly professionally well run office! My brother is a very renowned Orthodontist, and of all the dentists that he knows in Los Angeles, he recommended Dr. Nishikawa, and that was clearly an outstanding recommendation, since I'm still his patient 30 years later. Dr. Nishikawa has been my dentist since he graduated from USC Dental School. I will see no other dentist, regardless of the distance I have to travel. He is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. To say he absolutely knows what he is doing would be an understatement. I actually look forward to my dental appointments because of his expertise, gentle manner, and sense of humor. He has the best hygienists and support staff who make a dental visit almost as good as a shopping trip.! Those who benefited from his teaching at USC Dental School are probably quite grateful for the experience. If you're unhappy with your dentist then make the change now. Updating my review from awhile ago I just wanted to add that after you get their gift card (which I recently got again in the mail) they say you get a free cleaning (in the absence of gum disease....in very small print....and if they do find gum disease you pay full price) that I went to my family dentist after being told I have severe gum disease. And surprise surprise I do not have gum disease and my dentist said the only way I could have had such extensive disease compared to my last visit was if I had taken up recreational meth use...which I haven't.....I am a vegetarian yoga teacher. I digress. Just don't go here. read more

I love doctor Nishikawa. I had an issue with my old dentist where she pulled my wisdom teeth and broke the bone in my mouth. After two months of pain a friend of mine told me to see Dr. Nishikawa. He immediately sent me to an oral surgeon. He said a good dentist does not try to do the work of an oral surgeon. I have been going to him ever since. He and his staff are the best. read more
