Their portion sizes are also huuuge. I only ate half of it and I'm so stuffed. I've also tried their aqua Fresca and it's always refreshing. Just wish they had watermelon flavor. I bought 2 Chile Relleno burritos tonight & was not able to bite off the Chile, so I took the Chile out of the burrito to cut into pieces but could not cut Chile even with a steak knife. I bought these numerous times before and never had this problem. So I wasn't going to complain but I decided to call Roberto's & tell them if this problem & tried to explain & asked lady that answered the phone the problem but she could not understand English too well, so I told her to have the cook eat the next chile relleno & he will know what I mean. At first she kept asking me if I wanted to Order Chile relleno burritos, I told her no, then she asked if I was going to shop & I told her forget it. DISGUSTING!!!! We got chicken tacos, only because we were with friends and hungry. The hard shell was literally dripping oil and coated in grease. They had what looked like crispy cheese on the inside, and when I opened it up to look I realized that it wasn't cheese, IT WAS DRIED CRUSTY CHICKEN!!! Literally dark brown in color and hard. Only thing I can't stand is a wet quesadilla and this chicken / cheese quesadilla was just wet. Masks required. The employees were wearing masks, but the person getting the order together was not wearing gloves. This rating is for the food. Takeout on saturday (the 2nd time we got takeout from here since Covid-19 started). No complaints about the food. We got breakfast burritos (mmm- mine was the potato and cheese while hubby got the ham and cheese) and for the boy, three rolled tacos with cheese and guacamole. I never finish mine, so I eat the other half another time. The boy finished two of the three, and was almost chiming the whole time, in between bites, about how cheesy and delicious it was! The salsa is always excellent and flavorful (perfect spice). Hubby used to say that this place was a staple, and until we discovered Chipotle, it used to be, this is years before our son was born. It is fast, affordable, and dependable for Mexican eats. The line was social-distanced but the dining-in area was clearly not socially distanced (see pics). My suggestion, change the arrangement of the tables so that they are not so close together or offer outside dining. Roberto's is a pretty common dine in/ take out "almost" fast food restaurant that's been around vegas for as long as I can remember, and to me their staple has always been their carne asada fries. But I thought to myself "hey, let's see just how over the top I can make this thing". So like any good cheese-a-holic I figured why not add even more cheese to a dish that already had plenty. Then to bring my cholesterol to the very brink of disaster I decided to add shredded beef. All said and done this behemoth definitely weighed several pounds. Their carne asada is and always has been top notch, and their cheese has this zing to I'd that's hard to describe but you know it's Roberto's shredded cheese when you taste it. The shredded beef was a bit red but I actually liked it that way. The fries were a tad undercooked but all things considered this thing definitely gets a passing grade. And it's definitely something that'll take the whole day to eat. It's not exactly high end cuisine but definitely give these fries a try! read more

I stop by this location the most since it's on route back to my house since I work late nights and usually don't get off work until 2am. Today, I came in on my day off with my husband to pick up some food. As I walk up to the register, the little reddish hair woman is taking my order... as I'm ordering, she's literally giving me the death stare like she has a problem with me, and my husband catches her glare at me as well. I ordered carne asada fries with no beans, and extra pico de gallo, and extra guacamole. As I continue to order that's when I caught her glaring angrily at me as she ignores the second item (churros) I told her, so I mention it to her again, and she's says, "anything else?" So I order the third item, she then asks, "do you still want the churros?" I responded with "yes", then she continues to add all of the items afterwards. I don't know if it's a bad day or if she really had some type of problem with me, but if she hates her job so much, then go find a new one that you'll enjoy. Once our order was done, my husband picked up the bag and we left. As soon as we got home about to eat our food, I instantly noticed the carne asada fries had sour cream and extra guacamole but NO pico de gallo whatsoever. So my husband and I went back to return the fries because this wasn't the first time that this has happened instead of asking for a remake or an exchange, we just wanted a refund. Horrible service. Few things to consider before coming here. As soon as you walk in the smell of sewer or black water coming up from the pipes is very pungent. It' was very hard to even order food with such a bad intense smell, for this reason alone I would not come back. I've never been to this restaurant or eaten from here, I asked the lady at the register a few questions and she seemed like she was in a bad mood. My questions were as follows. Is $4.90 the price per asada taco? As in just 1 taco for that price? (In my opinion that's a bit high for 1 taco.) What is your specialty here since I've never been here? Right away she was annoyed that she had to provide customer service and not just take an order and be a robot and was very insulted at the insinuation that the tacos were expensive. 3. I ended up ordering an asada burrito. Which has asada meat and salsa only. The meat was plentiful, very salty in my opinion, the tortilla is was wrapped in did have a sweet nice smell and taste to it. Reminded me of the tortillas in Mexico. 4. I asked her if they had any radishes, as radishes are very common in any Mexican taco spot and again she was very annoyed. At that point I gave up asking for anything. The salsa bar was completely bare and quite sad looking. 1. Tin of green salsa that was bottomed out 2. Red salsa that had contamination from the green salsa and pickled carrots 1. Tin of browned dried out looking limes 1/2 way 1. Tin of pickled juice w very very little amount of pickled carrots floating around I had to scrape the bottom of the green salsa container to get a little 1/2 cup, and the red salsa looked like it had seen better days didn't touch it. 5. After sitting down w my burrito the employee that took my order brought out a fresh salsa Tin and put it out, but not before emptying the last of the gross green salsa into the new one. I don't know what sanitary food practices are but for me I really thought that those last few ounces should have been thrown away and not contaminated a whole new batch of fresh salsa w old salsa. ‍ read more

I ordered the chimichanga with rice and a side of chips/guacamole. The chimichanga was huge, I could only eat a 1/4 of it. Was pretty tasty. Beware of ordering from this location from DELIVERY APPS!! They skimp out on the food portion, don't include any sauces or utensils (even when specifically noted), and don't read prep instructions. I'm lucky that I don't have any food allergies and just asked for some condiments in my special instructions because they just ignored it all together. The agua de pina they have is the best way to wash down the spicy chorizo that lingers on your mouth. The carne asada tacos were average, but that's what I expect from here. I used to order from here all the time. My favorite is the egg and chorizo burrito. The burrito used to be a little bit bigger than a Chipotle burrito. Fast forward to 2024, the prices were increased and the size of burrito decreased by half. Last time I ordered the chorizo burrito, I was mostly eating tortilla. Roberto's is a staple in my life. I can get a hefty meal at a reasonable price ($5 for a bean and cheese burrito with lettuce and pico de gallo). Their burritos are filling and perfect after a long bike ride or run. I also like their salsa bar. Though the salsas are far too hot for my white-girl tastes, I fill up on carrots (yes, they are HOT, but I grin and bear it), cucumbers, and radishes before I dig into my main meal. That way, I've had my fill of healthy vegetables and I have burrito leftovers for a snack later that day or the next. My sons love the cheese quesadillas. They are basically heart-attacks-in-a-box--a carb/fat feast that is absolutely delicious. Went here about a week ago and the tacos were delicious so I decided to order Uber eats from here tonight and that was a huge mistake. I always get chicken taco with pico instead of lettuce any time I go to Roberto's we'll I guess tonight they thought I wanted pico and no chicken in my taco. It literally was a taco shell filled more than half way with pico and maybe two small piece of shredded chicken usually it's filled with too much chicken. I wish I could show a picture but it didn't save to my phone when I reported it to Uber. Glad I got a refund from Uber I would suggest going in to get your food to make sure it's right. read more
