Drinks: 5/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 5/5 I was looking for a cocktail bar to try in Vegas and I'm so glad that I tried this place. Located in the Uncommons, I parked in their parking structure. I hung out for longer than 2 hours so I think that's why I paid $3 for parking at the end of the night. Entrance located in the Quad Area. Our waitress Bella was sweet and recommended the right drinks. We tried the Li Hung Hula margarita, Monkey In A Tree piña colada, and the Oso Panda signature cocktail. All drinks tasted amazing and looked very good. I loved the ambiance of this place. They have outdoor patio seating and inside seating. It gives a comfy feel with their seat cushions, small tables, and stools. I noticed it got busier as the night got later. They have one T.V. that they had on when I came in but was covered up by the time I left. I definitely recommend this place. Glad I came after dinner as they do not serve food here. I would definitely come again!

I will say on weekend nights, I had always seen this place crowded and lively. I was for sure curious. On a weekday evening, I strolled into this venue. It had great chill music and had some customers, but not busy at all. The weather had been a little more humid than usual and with the full opened walls/doors to the outside patio, it was a bit warm, little muggy sitting at the bar. The decor is really nice though, a really good tiki vibe. The bartender addressed us right away and we were first looking for an espresso martini but they had a Carajillo, which was explained to be a Spanish version of an espresso martini. The bartender said it was really good. We got it - and you have to expect something that is the same as the espresso martini. The flavor was alright, but the knock for me was that it was all ice. There was very little drink in it. The agua fresca was a winner - the Sundown Sipper. It was refreshing and a great blend of juices. Not tart, perfect amount of sweet tropical flavor. I did really enjoy this. If you're not a drinker, you have options here.

One of my friends tried the pizza and he wasn't a fan. Drinks were on point and it was the owners birthday so we had shots cake and more shots lol. When I say you'll enjoy Old Skool, you won't be disappointed. It took maybe an hour for our hookah & food to come out which food didn't bother us much. However the hookah taking that long was wild. Come to find out our waitress didn't put it in. The owner came and apologized and gave us a few shots. The hookah However was clean tasting, smooth and honestly the presentation was worth the wait. The other negative here which didnt impact my rating was our waitress. She barely came to the table, we dabbed up the owner more times than we saw our waitress. She missed things we ordered but again the owner was a G and he took care of us. Overall great experience and I would definitely be back my next visit. This was an entire vibe and made our night.

From the moment we sat down, the whole place felt like a vibe -- great ambience, excellent service, delicious food, and yummy cocktails made by Dave the bartender. I wish I remembered the name of our server because she was also a gem, so friendly and engaging -- but we're going to blame that on the cocktails. We ordered the deviled eggs, wings, short rib, mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts with parmesan cheese. Everything was outstanding. Not one miss. And the reason there are no photos of the food? By the time we thought to take pictures, we had already eaten everything. That should tell you all you need to know. We were literally smiling from ear to ear the entire time, and people kept coming over to our table because the energy was that good. The Felix has officially made our list. Great food, great drinks, great service, and a fun atmosphere -- we will definitely be back!

The entry is super cute, grand princess chair to welcome you sparks your curiosity about what else the ambiance has to offer. You walk in and it's for sure a vibe. High boy tables surrounding a wrap around bar and super cute small booths line the walls. There was also a back room which I believe led to an outdoor area but we didn't really explore that far. Why only a one visit spot? Happy hour menu is very limited, service was not awesome & food was edible. Most of the menu was pretty standard amongst the lounge & bars around, so given the awesome ambiance I was expecting dishes that aligned but it was pretty standard. Fries, skewers, chip/dip, salad, sandwiches, wings, etc. I will say the Brussels sprouts were delicious! Specialty cocktails - s'mores espresso martini VERY chocolatey, sugar tasting. I couldn't even finish it. LOVED the watermelon martini tho! Definitely try. So refreshing & yummy! Service- he was very nice just not very attentive. He forgot things, we had to ask multiple times for items and took a long time to bring things. I did realize he had a lot of tables so he was busy, maybe they were short staffed!???! It was a Friday night during prime dinner time so I would have thought they would have better prepared. When leaving the hostess made the exit a bit uncomfortable, she just stared at us. We had to break the awkwardness by saying "thank you bye". She just kept staring at us and back at her iPad or computer not sure what!?? It wasn't a horrible visit but definitely not an incredible one either. Too bad too bc the place is super cute!

The Bao Buns looked amazing and came with shrimp chips, but by then we were way too full, so we each took one home to enjoy later. I had a Riesling and my friend enjoyed the "As You Wish" cocktail. The vibe was cool, with a nice bar area, and our server Kayla was wonderful--friendly, attentive and welcoming. Overall, a really enjoyable dinner with great food and service!

I am a fan of fusion food and this place tends to combine a classic restaurant with an Asian twist. At least what we ordered. Favorite thing we ordered were all apps: the lettuce wraps, the beef tartare were both awesome and special, truly unique experience. We also got the salmon skin tacos and the sliders. For my entree I got the short rib with kimchi fried rice. It was good but again what wowed me were the apps. I also like their drink menu, they seem to be redoing it right now. Both drink I got were whiskey/bourbon old fashion style. One with chocolate and orange (my favorite of the night) and the other with coconut. I am glad this is another amazing option on the southwest. Definitely give this place a try if you like fusion.

Ambiance is a bit confused in the sense that the lighting colors are all mismatched which sets a strange mood to the place. We had asked for waters all around several times yet for some reason we only kept getting one water. First impression was excellent. The restaurant was absolutely spotless and the interior is classy, cool, and modest all at the same time. It has a really great vibe without trying too hard, and they also have a very nice full bar. Rebeca was our server and she was fantastic. Seriously some of the best service I've had recently. She was friendly, attentive, knew the menu, and gave us some great recommendations. I'm also a bit of a tortilla chip snob, and these were some of the best chips I've ever had. Made in house, perfectly salted, fresh, and exactly the right thickness. AMAZING. We ordered the salsa flight and it was unbelievable. Every salsa had a totally different flavor. Some sweeter, some savory, some with more heat, and all of them were fantastic. The guacamole was delicious too. If you come here, do yourself a favor and get the salsas and guac. I asked Rebeca what she recommended for my meal and she suggested the birria burrito. Great call because it was phenomenal. Tons of flavor and one of those meals you're still thinking about afterward. I also had a chance to meet Rosalba, one of the owners, and she was wonderful. You can tell there is a lot of pride and care behind this restaurant. She was an incredibly sweet lady and showed a lot of care for the guests coming and going. Prices were very reasonable too, especially considering the quality of the food, atmosphere, and service. I've eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants around Las Vegas, and Ta'Chingon immediately jumped onto my list of favorites. It honestly might be #1 right now. Highly recommend this place. We started with the house made five salsa sampler with their really crispy chips. You must like crispy if you're gonna like their chips. We also tried their quesadilla with the add-on of chicken, which was also really unique. We tried their tacos carnitas, which was not my favorite, but the guys loved it. It's a little lacking in interior touches, but I guess if you're going to cook this good, consistently, you don't need to focus on that. But they should. For that, I'm leaving a four star review. You really should try their food, though, it's authentic and unique.
