Hands down the absolute best! I have worked with Robins Plumbing on more occasions than I'd like to admit over the last several months. They were my 4th and final plumber called out after sewage backed up into my showers, tubs and toilets and we were left without sewer or water for 3 weeks. Our 3rd plumber seemed to have a good idea of what was going on but quoted us over $8000. We were desperate and about to move forward with them, until my local landscaper recommended I reach out to Robins. I called Robins late Friday afternoon/evening and spoke with Stephanie. Immediately I knew she she knew what she was talking about. She is extremely knowledgeable. She was also very understanding of the fact that we had gone so long without functioning sewer and water and she made sure her team was out asap. A 9' x 6' hole was dug, the line repaired and the hole filled in 10 hours. Here's the kicker...Robins charged us less than HALF of the other plumbers quote!!! For those few people who have said they are expensive, I say YOU'RE NUTS! First of all, a business is a business and they have to make money. They have big capital expenses and hire excellent staff. Secondly, they are very reasonable. Third, if you think you can do the same job or better for less...do it yourself. Let me know how that turns out for you:) I have worked with many Robins team members (most recently for a drain that needed jetting - ultimately saved me by discovering we had a d/w leak), and they are ALL FANTASTIC! Yesterday they ran the jetter 3 times to ensure the line was clear, and they showed me the line with the camera each time. I feel confident that most other companies would run it once and call it a day. They never made me feel like I was an inconvenience. As I said, Stephanie is brilliant. Steve is phenomenal and very informative. Ryan was fantastic. Even their new staff in dispatch and in the field are beyond expectations. I told Ryan that moving forward I only want them out for elective work like remodels ;). That being said, I recommend them with 100% confidence. Call them now! DO NOT HIRE ! If I could give them zero stars I would. My husband had hired them to do a check up and clear a backup that our Tenent was having in a investment property we have in Glendale. At first they tried clearing up the backup using a snake to unclog the drainage system. They said they was unsuccessful at unblocking the blockage and recommended they use a camera to see what was causing the blockage. I agreed and hired them to use a camera to get into the drainage system to see what was the problem. To make a long story short they claimed that I had roots from a bush that had gotten into the system, and that I need the front of my yard excavated and I needed new piping installed. The price they quoted me was a little bit under $4000 for the work. I live out of state and I had to fly down in order to get under estimates and to make sure the job was done right . When my husband and I arrived and met with other company's to get a estimate for the repair. The other company's all said that they should have put markings of where the problem area was at in order for them to give us a estimate without guessing where the problem was. We ended up calling robins plumbing back to find out where and if they had placed markings in the front yard . They had our service tech who initially came for the job come out and put a marking in the yard of where the blockage was. I ended up hiring someone else for the job, and having to remove the bush that was in the front yard in order to repair the plumbing problem. Surprise !Surprise. There was no roots in the system and there was no need to excavate the front of my yard. The pipe it's self was in intact and all it needed was it to be snaked out better . The trip from Chicago to Phoenix as well as the not needed repair ended up costing me and my husband thousands of dollars. I believe they was trying to scam me due to the fact that I live out of state and it was a emergency situation and I needed service asap. I would not recommend them to anyone EVER! read more

I thought to myself, there has to be a better company experience. So I called Robins Plumbing. They answered, scheduled quickly were understanding, professional and cool. The Service Techs Joey and Damon started off strong by smashing the waiting game dread. They called and were here early! We looked at the sink and filtration issue. Joey presented several options and I went with the best one for us. WITHOUT PRESSURE OR UPSELLING from them both. This was a beautiful experience. Joey was training Damon, and I have to say his approach to training is awesome, so if all the other techs have this level of training, how can you go wrong? They completed the work quickly, and professionally, the final product looked better than I expected. Heres the best part, you know that experience of buyers guilt after they leave? Or the doubt should I have done that? Not present one bit when I went back to the final product and looked at it. Instead I feel like I screwed them out of more money and got a steal of a deal. I even inspected it all after they left. Looking for that one thing that looks bad but ill have to turn a blind eye to it and ignore. But couldnt find it. If your reading this, It sounds over the top? But thats how I actually feel after dealing with a plumber who didnt leave me feeling dissapointed or screwed over. I highly suggest you request Joey and/or Damon so you can see what I mean. And to the company leadership- I would encourage you to make sure you do something special for these two faces of your company, they are making you shine! Our last water bill was much higher than normal, so I had to find our water leak. It didn't take long, water was bubbling up under our driveway. I called AC by J, who we have a monthly maintenance plan with and they said the leak was from the pipe to my water main and we had two options. Opt 1 was digging up and replacing a portion of the driveway to replace the pipe, Opt 2 was to burrow under the driveway and replace the line. They quoted me $4,300 and they didn't know when they were available to do the repair. Knowing that wasn't in our budget, I called a friend who said his house had the same issue several years ago and they routed the pipe up and over inside his garage door and it costed much less. I went to our great neighborhood site of course, and found very high ratings for Robins Plumbing. Grant came out within a few hours, recommended the over the inside of the garage door fix and quoted me $2,500, which included a regulator and new shut off value which had never installed on our house. Grant and his partner Mustafa arrived the next morning, worked from 8-7 with only one short break and their solution was great! No more water leak, a water regulator which was never recommended by the other company and will save my pipes from future leaks, a new shutoff valve and a great relationship that has been established for future repairs. I am now looking at installing their Nuvoh2o water softener system and will be saving up our money and Loyalty Program Member points to save 25%! I had a bad water leak from an outside hose bib on the house. It's an old house and was the turning knob kind and I wanted to get it replaced with a ball valve or what I call a lever kind. Anyway, I called around and nobody could come out the same day or I was getting pretty high quotes for it. My whole house water was shutoff so I needed same-day. I kept going down the list and came upon Robins and talked to a very nice person over the phone who I later found out is Stephanie and she was able to send out someone in an hour which was to my surprise. She also gave me a quote over the phone for it and it was the cheapest out of anyone else that did offer me a quote over the phone. She had Grant come out and he was very nice and knowledgeable. He explained everything before doing any work and was able to finish it very quickly. When he was done, he made sure it was done to my satisfaction and yes it was. Actually, it was better than I had hoped since he was able to put a small extension on to make it more convenient to use. I was very happy. He also went over all kinds of information while we stood by the bib to make sure there were no other issues. All I can say is this was the best experience I have ever had with a plumbing company and I was very satisfied with the work and care they took. When you own a 1950-build historic home, you get plenty of opportunity to get acquainted with plumbers. I've tried just about everyone over the years -- from the big companies who give you 6-hour windows when they'll show up and then hammer you with hidden charges you don't realize you'll pay until after they're done, to the handymen off Craigslist with facial tattoos and outstanding warrants. I've rarely felt very comfortable letting any of them in my home -- let alone excited enough to write a review. Until Robbins Plumbing. I can't say enough about this family-owned, local business! I had a self-created disaster (trying to fix a clog in my sink based on youtube videos, and making it far worse by trying to pull apart the p-trap myself while managing to neither reach the clog nor be able to put the plumbing back together again). Brian came over exactly when he said he was going to be (no crazy, "we'll be there between 8am and 8pm" nonsense). He got the problem addressed in less than an hour. And he did so despite my dogs harassing him most of the time. At the end of it all, the price was exactly what he quoted, and he even checked out a leaky toilet and gave me advice on how I could fix it myself (and save $75 in the process) in less than 5 minutes. This review is 2.5 years after the service date.... Two months after moving into our new-to-us house, the main polybutylene (gray plastic) pipe failed. Since this type of piping had such a bad reputation (which we found out AFTER the purchase of our house...no thanks to the shoddy work of our home inspector, but that's a separate review), we decided to replumb the entire house with PEX. We did our due diligence and got two bids from friend/family recommendations, and then found Robins Plumbing on Yelp for our third bid. Robins was slightly higher than the others, but after talking to all the companies, we felt they had the best experience for the job. Steve was awesome! We had lots of questions/concerns, and he walked us through each one of them. Yes, there were a lot of holes in the drywall. No way around that, but after it was all done and we inspected their work, we were amazed that they did not have to cut more holes than they did. Steve and Ryan were true professionals! This is not a review on a toilet replacement, this was hardcore plumbing, and they did an awesome job. We have recommended them several times, and they were also happy with their service. We hope we never have to use them again, but if we have another plumbing issue, we will not hesitate to pick up the phone and call Robins Plumbing. Here it is a Saturday, figured I would change the bath spout since the diverter was really hard to pull up due to calcium build up. Simple task, done it in the past. Well as I was trying to unscrew it was corroded to the copper pipe from the wall and I twisted that pipe and broke it within the wall. This simple DIY job turned into something that was above my skill set. I called Robins Plumbing after looking at several companies here on Yelp. 10:47 AM the call was made and 11:33 AM Ryan with Robins plumbing as at my door. It only took that long because he just finished a job in another part of the valley. A quick look at the problem he was able to give me the estimate and how he would be able to replace the pipe without removing any of the tile. The entire job was done and he was gone by 12:15 PM. So less and a hour and a half from the time the pipe broke till it was fixed. Ryan was very friendly and wanted to ensure we had no questions before he left. You can tell he cared about the work he completed. The price was a little higher then I excepted but a little cheaper when I look at websites for "emergency" service. So they are probably fair on their prices. I've been lucky and haven't required much plumbing help but I know in the future who I will call. read more

I've never needed to hire a plumber before and the anxiety of someone coming into my home to charge me for fixing things I don't really understand was really overwhelming. Our home was already turned upside down with family emergencies all month and then we were hit with a water stain in our pantry just below the master bath. Scheduling was a breeze and our plumber Nate was on-time, efficient, and very polite and professional. He explained the problem thoroughly and answered all of our rudimentary questions with patience. It never felt like he was trying to rush out or hurry us along. We had the same great interaction when he came back to do the repair. He left everything SO tidy, despite having to cut through the tile. It really felt like he was being considerate about every thing he did in our home. I honestly don't have enough good things to say about this experience with Robins. I really feel like I can trust them to not take advantage of me and treat me and my home with respect. Seriously, just call them. And if you're in the west valley, ask for Nate! He's like a plumbing savant and it felt like a friend had come by to help us out. Robins is the BEST! Janet and Eddy deserve to be recognized for OUTSTANDING SERVICE, PROFESSIONALISM AND EXPERTISE. Robins installed my new water heater a year ago (Ryan was the install technician who was amazing). I went to flush it myself this needed help. I called on Saturday morning and Janet answered the phone. I explained what I was doing and asked her what to do next. She offered to connect me with a technician. I was frustrated and short with her and said I would do it myself. Five minutes later Eddy called which was great. He explained to me that Ryan had trained him, which gave me comfort, and he guided me each step of the way AND helped my neighbors over the phone at the same time. I even called him again that day to confirm steps and he was so knowledgeable and kind. My neighbors asked for the plumbers name to use next time. (BTW - I acknowledged being a schmuck and called back to apologized to Janet. No surprise that she was super kind and forgiving and put me in the raffle for her homemade cupcakes!) Robin's Plumbing and Steve their GM rock! On Sunday my main kitchen sink/disposer backed up and I scheduled the service call for Monday. And I mentioned to the scheduler that I had 4 or 5 other plumbing issues at the house that I'd like them to evaluate/ repair. Sure enough, Steve kept in touch throughout the afternoon, letting me know when he thought he'd be at my house. Once he arrived, he took off his shoes, inspected all of my issues, presented me with his plan, then quickly got to work on repairing them all. The great thing is that they carry most parts commonly needed right on their truck, so there is no need for a 2nd repair call. All 5 of my problems were repaired with new parts he had on hand. Steve was fast, professional, knowledgeable, and really nice. Steve made a stressful day for me very easy and agreeable and I totally trusted his judgment. So much so that we already scheduled the next service call for a new leaky faucet we identified in another area. There is no need for me to shop around for another plumber ever again! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Our contractor suggested Robins Plumbing when we started having water trouble - needing to have our entire Polybutylene Plumbing System replaced. We had three companies give us estimates. Robins' quote was the lowest and they were able to start work the soonest. Steve and Brian came early and worked hard all day. A third plumber came in the evening so they could finish the essential work to get our water on before they left - repiping the whole house in a day! Steve came back the next day to completely finish the job and clean up. He was thorough, testing and checking to make sure there would be no issues. He wanted to know everything was done to our satisfaction before he left. When we asked if he could do a few other minor jobs, not included in the work order, he gave us an extremely reasonable quote since he was already on site and got the work done immediately. Don't even waste your time trying to replace your 15 year old Moen cartridges on your own. Chances are, the thing is cemented in there, and you'll just pull out the center, leaving the outside of the cartridge stuck inside the valve body - like I did, back in December '16 (I left a review then, but it vanished). I found these guys on Yelp, and reached out to them due to the high ratings, and they more than lived up to the reviews. Brian came out on the weekend, and he went to work on it with a pair of pliers and a blow torch - seriously (I suspect some plumbers would have told me they had to replace the whole assembly, which would have been a fortune). He was very personable, professional, and was clearly a master plumber. They've got a customer for life. I just had another similar issue (low pressure on the hot water valve, at the master tub this time), at the same rental property, they came out the next morning and knocked it out. We contacted to Robbins to inspect our RO System that was leaking. Eddy was scheduled to originally show up, but due to an emergency at his previous job Damon was sent in his place. Damon inspected and gave the option of replacing the whole system or just the filter. He explained the either would work, but just replacing the filter could result in the problem returning. He did a great job of explaining the system and it's functions, and the problems that could occur. We decided to replace the system which was immediately ordered and installed by Eddy and Mike within a couple of days. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. Mike was in training and with Eddy's help they had the new system installed rather quickly! Mike with Eddy's help explained the new system and some of the other services that Robins provided before cleaning their work space and departing. We will definitely be using and recommending their services to others. read more

I called over the weekend when my water heater went out. They called back right away and offered emergency service but I opted for an appt that week. She walked me through what to do with the hot water heater in the meantime, which was super helpful. I was texted a day or two before asking if it was ok to push the appt to afternoon because there was a job that was going to take a little longer - I appreciated the heads up. Eddie called me in the morning to confirm the 1 pm appt was still good. Then he called to let me know he was on his way. Showed up on time, was very professional, courteous and speedy. Quote was very reasonable. I communicated with them via text to let them know what kind of tank i was looking for, so he knew what to bring. I have to say it was the most comprehensive plumber visit I've ever had - start to finish, every detail was well executed. Clearly this company has a vision and they're sticking to it! A technician from the company in question was dispatched to our residence for the purpose of addressing a leaky bathroom faucet, a visit which incurred a combined fee of $200 for both the house call and the diagnostic evaluation. Subsequently, we were billed in excess of $700 for the purported repair services. Despite these charges, the faucet's leakage persisted post-service. Upon re-contacting the technician for a resolution, we were informed that any further attempts at repair would necessitate a new quotation and incur costs akin to a fresh service call. In pursuit of managerial intervention, we encountered significant rudeness from the supervisor during a recorded conversation. It was insinuated that the unsuccessful repair was our liability, predicated on a vague disclaimer suggesting that the fix was not guaranteed, culminating in the supervisor abruptly terminating the call. read more
