Kim and her crew did a fantastic job on an old concrete slab in my 1930's house. Grinding and polishing those floors is not easy, and now it looks just beautiful -- with the quality and interest of the original patina a feature instead of the eye-sore it was! We have wanted to do polished concrete floors in our loft forever, so when our place flooded we were lucky enough to find Kimberley. She worked with us on samples, and sent me to a couple sites to see her great work. She is kind, patient, and professional to the max. Unfortunately we are having to move out of town suddenly, so we can't do the project. Our biggest disappointment is having to leave Kimberley and her plans for our floor. Wood floors are passé. Polished cement is rich, warm, and modern in feel. Hopefully we find someone as great as Kimberley to do polished cement in our next home! read more

Kim and team were absolutely amazing! I had an awful allergic reaction because of my garage floor (due to a shady contractor), and I needed to remediate the garage floors right away. I got in contact with Kim and she was very understanding of my situation. She was able to get me in the schedule quickly and did a standard grind and seal of my garage floor. She was reliable, on time, CLEAN and did a very thorough (and great!) job. We need more women in this industry because the level of service, and quality of work was second to none. Kim and crew cleared out my yard, leveled it and added a great cement path / sidewalk along the back of my house after my original deck rotted away. A year or so ago in a fit of DIY madness i pulled out my old rotten deck.... I didn't have a plan for what came next and what came next was rain! my formerly tame and simple yard became a crazy jungle of weeds that were taller than I am in less than 3 weeks! The old river pebbles and weed cloth that had edged the deck lost it's hold and became overrun, weeds sprouting over and through the rocks and fabric. I was completely overwhelmed, and my house was bordered by mud and scary bug filled weeds! Kim was the best price by far, and when she left my yard was everything I wanted, ready and prepped to begin a garden space. They even built a sieve and saved all my river rock! They laid new weed cloth everywhere so I had some breathing room to implement a yard plan, leveled my whole yard (I hadn't even realized how uneven it was until they started correcting it), and put in some light retention to make a tiered level (because the fences are based higher than the house is). Kim Robles did a fantastic job on my back yard! She graded, excavated soil, and removed tree stumps. Built a raised pad for my air conditioner. Repaired existing problems with my foundation and laid a beautiful cement pad over my entire yard. She finished in less time than originally estimated and under budget! She and her entire crew were considerate, cleaned up after themselves and were a pleasure to work with. Robles Construction is capable, experienced and knowledgeable. They do superb work and pay attention to details that lesser companies miss. I highly advocate them for any projects you may have, big or small. read more

Kim was very nice on the phone. She sounded very competent. We made an appointment for the next day but she no-showed. She called me later that day to apologize and to reschedule. She arrived the next day to measure the job, took the measurements, and promised to contact me with an estimate. That was the last I've heard of her. I didn't want to give her a rating because I don't know the quality of her work but yelp won't let me do that, so take the one-star rating above with a grain of salt. She might be a great contractor, but she was unreliable for me and we hadn't even done anything yet. It's too bad, too, because I really wanted to hire her. read more

I needed some masonry work done at my house. I called a few places and got some bids. Kim's price was the best. We made an appt for her to assess the job. She was on time. She said the job would take one week. It was a heavy job so I was a little skeptical that it could be done so quickly. Contractors always seem to underestimate how long a job will take.
