So this meal was good, but not amazing. I liked the food and the service was good, but not what I expected at that price point or with a Michelin star. We came for my birthday and started with a salad and bread and each got our own pastas. The pistachio ice cream was my favorite part and that actually was amazing! The parking validation is also helpful and nice. I might try it one more time.
This place was such a treat. I went here for my anniversary with my boyfriend and I was delighted by the food and treatment. The menus were personalized which was a cute addition. We started with the appetizer of sliced wagyu on a bed of olives which was fantastic. For dinner we had stuffed pasta with salami and wagyu filet. It was increíble. I would definitely come back here to try the table side mozzarella. The staff was very nice and incredibly knowledgeable about everything that had to do with the restaurant. A wonderful experience. You will feel very taken care of here.
Absolutely worth all the hype! Amazing service, attention to detail is on point. The mozzarella cart is truly a must try along with the bread. It's our second time here, even better than the first time and didn't think that was possible! We visit every time we're in town. 10/10 no notes
This is highly rated for a reason. Everything from the minute you walk in to the time you leave is a great experience! The menu features a diverse options of Italian dishes. So if you love that this is the place for you. If you order the bread just know it's very filling and the butter that comes with it is a nice touch. The bluefin tuna was also good. I wasn't in the mood for seafood tonight but the flavor combinations were good. The AGNOLOTTI was my favorite and highly recommended! The CAPPELLACCI ALL'ARAGOSTA was also really delicious and flavorful so you can't go wrong with those two pasta dishes. They do have a separate dessert menu though. Just a heads up though it's like you're getting an authentic Italian dinner experience so don't expect to get in and out fast.
We recently came to Rocca for our anniversary dinner. Here is what I thought. Atmosphere: Rocca is located right next to Armature Works in Tampa, Florida. The inside space is simply decorated. I didn't notice any outdoor seating. The decorations are kept simple as the food does the talking! It was very cold inside the restaurant, almost uncomfortably cold. I highly recommend bringing a sweater. I had to put my napkin on to keep my arms warm and the table next to me asked the server to turn the temperature up. Bathrooms: I used their unisex bathroom. It sounds like they also have a mens and a women's bathroom too. The bathroom was nice and clean! Service: Our server Daniel was AMAZING! He was so kind, knowledgable, and passionate about his job. He was so warm and inviting. He gave us an excellent tour of the menu and was very knowledgeable about every single dish. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and professional. I have to give 4 stars for service because one of our bread knives was dirty and it took almost 30 minutes to get the drinks we ordered. As a Michelin star restaurant, you expect perfection. Food: We really loved all the dishes we ordered. I can definitely say that Rocca has very good / top notch food for Tampa. For our starters we ordered the 'Shrimp Fritti' and 'Broccolini'. The shrimp was very good, it was light and packed with lots of flavor. My favorite dish of the entire night was the broccolini. The dish was beautifully presented and had so many different flavors that melded together. It was so good. Highly recommend. We also ordered their bread which was so good, I loved the whipped butter that came with it. For entrees, we tried their 'Cappellacci all' Arrogosta' which I enjoyed. The pasta was a beautiful pink color and delicious. My husband tried their 'Tortello all' Uovo' which he enjoyed. I preferred his pasta dish to mine. The lobster pasta was a little on the sweet side for me but still delicious. For dessert, we tried their 'Burnt Cheesecake' and their 'Riso Al Latte' dessert. The burnt cheesecake was delicious, I would've been fine with the cheesecake alone. I didn't really get the plantains that came with it. The strawberry dessert was my favorite dessert. It was salty and sweet and had the perfect notes of basil mixed in. It definitely made us even more cold and itching to get out of the restaurant. We also received a lemon curd zeppole which was delicious and a caccio e Pepe chocolate with a blackberry candy at the end. Both were good. For drinks, I had the 'Watermelon Spritz' it was more on the savory side but good. I didn't like the thyme piece that keep hitting me in the face. My husband got their 'Lime In The Coconut' mocktail which he enjoyed. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner here and would love to come back. We didn't try their meat dishes because they Iook like they are big enough to share with a party of 4! Also, bring a sweater if you're sensitive to cold spaces!
Mozzarella cart. Nothing else to be said. 10/10 no notes. Service was alright we've been twice, both times getting the same guy. Service got slow at times but the mozzarella cart, carpaccio, and pasta make up for it. Also we asked for a fork for the birthday dessert and the waiter refused to give us one and told us it's preferred if we eat it by hand. Like ok king that's weird? But like get me a fork
This was probably one of the best Italian places I've ever been too. It was worth booking 2 months out. Had some good pasta and some wine. It also has a Michelin star too if you're looking for a place with that standard. A little more pricey but for a Michelin star it's really affordable!
Service was great and the ambiance is cozy but the food was just ok. I wasn't impressed and couldn't remember anything that stood out to make me want to go back.
Rocca was an absolute standout and the perfect spot for a special dinner with friends visiting from Chicago. From the moment we walked in, the moody atmosphere and low lighting set the tone for an intimate, elevated dining experience. We started with the broccolini and the bluefin tuna crudo, and both were incredible. The crudo was pristine and beautifully balanced, and the broccolini had so much depth of flavor for what might otherwise seem like a simple dish. For our mains, we ordered the Tagliolini al Ragu, Cappellacci all'Aragosta, and Spaghetti al Limone, and every single one was exceptional. The ragu was rich and comforting, the lobster cappellacci felt indulgent and perfectly executed, and the spaghetti al limone was bright and fresh in the best way. Each dish felt thoughtful and refined. Throughout the meal, the little touches made it even more special. We were given small samples of their aged Parmesan to try, warm bread that was perfect for soaking up every last bit of sauce from our pasta dishes, and a lovely white chocolate square at the end of the meal with a surprising but delicious kick of pepper. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. We also enjoyed several wines from their extensive menu, which offers fantastic variety. Our server was impeccable, informative, attentive without hovering, and incredibly helpful with recommendations that truly enhanced our evening. Rocca delivers on food, ambiance, and service. A flawless experience from start to finish and we will absolutely be back.
I was in Tampa and saw good reviews for Rocca so I decided to come for dinner. The restaurant is nice on the inside. They were busy, I definitely recommend making a reservation. Luckily it was just me and I was able to sit at the bar. They start off with a complimentary piece of cheese. I decided to start with the Wagyu Steak Carpaccio. This was the best carpaccio I've ever had! I ordered the Martini del Santo to drink, it was nice but definitely strong. Lastly I got the Agnolotti pasta. This was so good! It's a bit spicy and the breadcrumbs on top give great texture. I wish I had room for dessert! This was a great dining experience and the food was amazing. I would love to come back here and try their other menu items. If you're in Tampa, you should make it a point to come here.
Absolutely one of our fav places. This was only our second time to visit Rocca but it for sure won't be our last. As with our first visit (my first review is somewhere below), everything was phenomenal. We chose a few different items this time to share and were again impressed with each. We love that you order your entire meal at once and the staff perfectly courses out the meal for you. Last night, we had the waygu carpaccio, the tableside mozzarella, cappallacci al'aragosta (lobster pasta), pesce alla ligure (branzino), and the bistecca (waygu beef strip). The carpaccio was absolutely fantastic. The mushroom "relish" under the beef was the star accompaniment with its salty goodness. The tableside mozzarella was unique and probably the best cheese I've ever had. It is made fresh tableside and then plated as a nice caprese salad with yummy, locally grown tomatoes, flaky sea salt, basil, Spanish olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar. Simply incredible. The lobster pasta was inventive and tasty. This was coursed out between the mozzarella and our main dishes and was the perfect way for each of us to try it. The waygu beef strip was cooked to perfection (med rare), sliced and plated with some crispy beef fat bits (hubby loved!), a chimichurri sauce and roasted garlic. The steak was absolutely delicious and the chimichurri sauce was a nice addition. The branzino was the highlight of the dinner again. Presentation of the entire fish with the crispy potatoes, olives, and chef-served sauce is simply incredible. The fish with the sauce is such a wonderful, flavorful combination that I believe it is the best fish I've ever had. For dessert we ordered the apple tart and pistachio gelato. Both were wonderful but the pistachio gelato was phenomenal. The lemon zest on top, the honey drizzle and the added crunch of the pistachio pieces sprinkled overtop made for an absolute perfect bite everything. Everything we have tried here has been stellar and it isn't difficult to understand why they are Michelin rated. Ambiance, service, food quality and portions are all expertly executed. Rocca is now in our regular rotation and we already cannot wait to go back!
Decided to try another Michelin star rated restaurant and have to rate it against other Michelin star restaurants so will be more picky. First of all if you expect a romantic evening, this is not the place. It looks beautiful but is INSANELY LOUD. Sitting at a small table in the back we had a hard time hearing each other. Can't imagine what it would be like at a bigger table. Service was excellent, as expected. We started with the beef carpaccio which looked really bland but it wasn't. All of the capers and other blends were actually underneath it and it was amazing. We had to ask for shaved parmesan because surprisingly enough it didn't have any so a bit of a miss there. I had the AGNOLOTTI salame calabrese ricotta filling, cherry tomato, garlic breadcrumbs which was very good though a bit too spicy for my taste but the contrast of the crunchy breadcrumbs with the pasta was really good. She had SPAGHETTI al LIMONE blue crab, zucchini, and lemon. That was unbelievably good. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente and lemon was strong enough to be refreshing. We then decided to have the frozen cheesecake with meringue and honestly that was disappointing. Lacked flavors and also had a cookie that was very hard and took away from the taste. Everything together was just too busy with not enough flavor for the cheesecake. Overall, it was priced very well and not obnoxiously expensive like most Michelin star restaurants which means we will definitely be back. They even gave us a little card congratulating us on our anniversary and gave us a small celebration discount which was very nice and surprising. They obviously care about their customers. So 1 star lost for the desert, lack of cheese on carpaccio, bread, and being so loud but if this wasn't a Michelin star restaurant, it would be a 5 star!
Clearly a cut above normal restaurants. The food was clearly Italian, but in a way that was unique, innovative but most important of all, delicious. The presentation of my broccolini appetizer was colorful and made want to dig in, which is good because I discovered even more underneath. The shrimp fritti was equally good and almost filling enough to be a light meal. The beef ragu had a deep and complex beef flavor, the spaghetti was full of crab, no punches pulled here. If I have one complaint, it's that the portions are larger than expected and just an appetizer and pasta filled us up! We wisely didn't order more, but could not have eaten it if we did. Service was over the top. One of the checks I use for the thoughtfulness of the service is whether or not the restaurant can provide a black napkin which will not leave white lint on dark trousers. Our waitress notice how we were dressed when we were escorted in and was bringing them to us on the first visit. We could barely take a drink of water before it was being refilled again. If you have not been, go I cannot impress on you how great the restaurant is. Save up and go, you won't regret it.
Best restaurant I went to in my visit to Tampa. If you enjoy pasta and cheese, then this is a must visit. For food, we got the bread appetizer, the mozzarella cheese cart, and a spaghetti Arrabbiata. The bread appetizer was fine but there's nothing particularly special about the bread, and I would skip it on my next visit. The mozzarella cart is a must order - they prepare the cheese at your table and it tastes amazing. The pasta dish was great (good flavor in the sauce and pasta cooked perfectly). Service was above average too. Waiters / servers were more social / helpful than they needed to be. read more

This is by far the finest restaurant I've ever experienced in the entire Tampa Bay Area. In fact, the entire Southeast Region of our country! I'm not sure where to start... There is nothing stuffy and overbearing about Rocca. It is comfortable but elegant in a casual sort of way. Anyone would feel welcome here from a layman to the most elite businesspeople. It is a testament to well-trained staff that they can treat everyone respectfully and with a kind and welcoming manner. Backtrack - complimentary valet so there's no going crazy with the anxiety of finding a space in the parking lot at Armature Works parking lot, by the way! Moving on...we ordered almost every single appetizer now in our 2 visits. Yes, I waited to write because it was hard to imagine that the perfection was truly real after one visit so I wanted to make sure I wasn't imagining it and went back. Yes. It's true. Perfection can be found in Tampa and it's at Rocca! Apps: the beet and ricotta dish is mouth-watering with the balance of flavors and acidity enough to make you want to stop there - but don't! Lordy, don't stop there! The mozzarella cart is a standout and we were in heaven with the heirloom tomatoes tasting like they'd been picked out back just for us! We really all wanted to try the pastas the first time so we passed on proteins and made up for it the second visit. I'm a big fan of the gnudi. Big. Fan. Our friends are like us so we shared it all - can't go wrong with friends like that. Each and every pasta and protein was better than the last - the huge ravioli piece with egg and ricotta inside is delicious and so cool! I can't remember all the names of the dishes and some elements changed from the first visit to the second which I found amazing - Chef Bonsack is constantly reworking what is already excellent but he is such a perfectionist and anyone would be lucky to have this experience! Wow! I could do a commercial...I just need a menu to have the correct names! Just know you can't go wrong with ANY choice. That's never happened before - truly a remarkable dining experience. Had a wonderful experience at Rocca. The service was amazing and of course we came for the table side fresh Mozzarella and it did not disappoint! It was our favorite dish of the night! I went with 2 other friends and we ordered a variety of Pastas that we all shared. We all agreed that everything tasted amazing however, had we all gotten one plate and not shared then it would have been hard to finish each pasta. Each was a very unique taste on pasta with lots of contrasting bold flavors. We ended with the burnt cheesecake which was 10/10 amazing. Apparently it's so popular you have to reserve a slice- so the second we sat down we told our server to reserve a slice. We also got the chocolate Gelato and it was very tasty, deff on the more bitter dark chocolate side , but i enjoy that. My friend who does not like dark chocolate skipped it. A overall it was a great experience and I would deff come back to explore other items on the menu! read more

I would give this place 3.5 starts if I could. I'm not sure how it earned a michelin star over some others but my guess is the ambiance. The Italian food is very basic. That's not to say that it's bad, but Olivia's was better. I wasn't impressed with the inventiveness nor the presentation. It was good enough but not great. Unfortunately, it's very hyped, and I think it needs to meet the hype but in my opinion, it's basic Italian. Go to Olivia or hit up Taverna Costale. read more
Enter the blue door for a full dining experience! Reservations are required. We were arrived at 6:30 and by 7:30 The entire restaurant was full. We enjoyed the pork belly appetizer, as well as the tagliatelle with the beef Ragu. For main course, we ordered the Rohan duck which came with a duck fat creamy polenta side, as well as an aged grapefruit sauce. Duck cooked perfectly medium rare was delicious. I believe there was one slice left for us to take away. The dish is decorated with small, nasturtium, flower, blossoms from the chefs garden. For dessert we enjoyed the burnt cheesecake. Had to try it. Interesting concept, burning the cake and serving it, but it was creamy, smooth flavorful. The duck and the cheesecake have to be ordered as soon as you sit down, it does take the kitchen a while to present that to the diner, so after we looked over the menu at home, we realized it's a must have. The team approach to service was impeccable, our china and silverware, were changed for each course. The tables were cleaned in between courses. Our waters were constantly refilled. We had the most attentive, outstanding service staff. Beautiful dining experience lovely sunset, view of the city of Tampa and an exciting vibrant downtown feel. This was a wonderful culinary experience. Reservations are necessary. We were three people, and we reserved for a 6 pm Tuesday sitting. The hostess sat us immediately. Taylor was our server and he was professional and extremely knowledgeable. We also had a chance to talk to the sommelier. He gave us really good recommendations for a white bottle of wine from Sicily to start off with and then an amarone with our entrees. we started off with the mozzarella bar appetizer, where they make it right in front of you, which was magnificent, super tasty if you like cheese, an extremely flavorful aged balsamic vinegar, olive oil and fresh basil. For other appetizers we indulged in some bread with lemon butter as well as the asparagus with a saffron zabaione, squid ink and hazelnuts and they were both really good, especially the sour dough and asparagus. For our entree I shared the halibut with my friend and it was large and could feed probably 3 ppl not just 2. It came in a dutch oven with a special tomato like stew with carrots, onions and tomatoes. Beautifully presented and delicious. My friend ordered the rigatoni with speck which he enjoyed. Lastly, we finished off with the burnt cheese cake and the basil custard. That basil custard was to die for. I didn't care for the cheese cake. Spectacular modern Italian that well deserves their bib gourmand. I wish I came with a larger party so I could try everything. I hoped to get the duck but you have to preorder as they only sell like 5-8 per night. Nonetheless, for a table of two we tried to tackle the high yields. TLDR: appetizers and pastas are their strength, the proteins seem generally good but nothing unique compared to any other modern American spots. Portions are honestly pretty large if you are comparing it to other similar tiers in other cities. I live in LA and these portions are massive and much cheaper, but similarly good if not better too. Introductory cheese: took us by surprise how delicious this was, crumbling, a little funk, nutty, but nice fruity flavors too. Great start. Hokkaido scallops: nice array of flavors, from seared Smokey scallops to the nice Thai basil aroma reminiscent of Thai curry with the tangy leche de tigre like base. 5/5 Eggplant: wow, really enjoyed this dish more than I was expecting. Honestly had more Asian flavors, but so many different sauces. If you like charred flakey/crispy eggplant than this is a good item. Very nice textures 5/5 Pork Sage Ravioli: this is a flavor combo you see in many Italian spots, so I won't say this is mind blowing but they did execute it pretty well. I would say it's lacking one more demension, it has the savory salty fatty and a little tangy from the Demi glaze, but I'd think making it maybe either a little bit spicier vs cheesier vs sweeter would knock it out the ballpark. 4.5/5 Girelle: wooowwww, new item, never had this before and this was mind blowing good in my opinion, love the stracciatella but the pasta vessel with the marinara was the perfect combo for it. Definitely one of my favorite pasta dishes in a long time. 6/5 Branzino: honestly our cut was kinda too fishy, and the skin was seasoned way too heavily with salt. Our mouths dried up from the skin so we had to peel off the meat from the skin. The olives were also way too salty. The redeeming factors were the onions and smashed potatoes to cut thru all the salt. Would honestly skip. 3/5 Basil Custard: another unique item that I throughly enjoyed. Very nice array of textures from cold to crispy to soft to tangy to sweet to herby. Don't know how to describe it otherwise, but the most unique item on the dessert menu 5/5 Overall: spent around $250 with tip, rivals major cities in terms of bang for your buck honestly. are u kidding me! This place is a gem. Came twice and I loved both times. The service was amazing, the menu is small- which I loved. I often feel overwhelmed with big menus, so it was easy to decide what to order. For apps, we got the bread & the carne cruda- both so delicious. For the main course we ordered spaghetti di limone & fettuccini Al tartufo when it was in season, which was perfect!! For the truffle girlies- get the fettuccini, it's so simple & delish read more

I've been waiting a while to be able to get a reservation at Rocca, and it was totally worth the wait. We tried pretty much everything on their menu and all was made to order and sooo delish! Loved the ambience. You won't be disappointed with anything on the menu. Highly recommend. Cheers! read more

Listen... this place really is that good. My husband and I tried a variety of items on the menu-- all delightful. The bread was exceptional. The gem salad was crunchy and tangy and nutty. Agnolotti was complex and packed a little punch. But the Branzino... WOW. Incredible. The garlic confit sauce they poured over it was next level. The potatoes were the most fantastic fried potatoes I have ever had. Service was top-notch, and the ambiance was cozy. We will most certainly be back! read more

Amazing experience. We got lucky and walked in late Friday evening just as a table had left the lounge area. Our server was also making drinks behind the bar and that definitely worked in our favor. We had a Manhattan and a Last Word that were both excellent. We knew we had to have the mozzarella cart since they are famous for it; what a cool experience. The mozzarella cart lady started with a bowl of cheese curds, poured boiling hot water on top and then got to work fresh slicing the heirloom tomatoes. The tomatoes and basil come from local Florida farms which I loved. Presentation was so awesome and the lady was so knowledgeable, it's definitely an experience as much as a delicious starter. Way too much for 2 people though! Perfect for 4-6 people! We took all the rest to go. From there we decided to share two pasta dishes (the Ragu and the agnolotti) both were spectacular. The Ragu is a must... perfectly prepared, the freshest pasta and honestly couldn't be approved upon. The agnolotti had quite the kick and phenomenal flavor. We loved the combo of the two and look forward to trying more of them. We had absolutely no room left for dessert, but the dessert menu looked amazing. Next time we will leave room. read more

Rocca is a beautiful newer restaurant. Very nice atmosphere. The service is absolutely incredible. First came out some cheese samples from the chef. We started off with the bread with lemon butter, which was delicious. Next came our calamari which was good but nothing extraordinary. My husband wanted to try a meatball on the side of his meal and they thankfully helped out with that. I'm thrilled they offered that up to him because we were pretty disappointed with the meatball. It was pretty pink throughout, and I don't care for eating anything with ground meat not completely cooked through. All in all, glad we got to try it for free since we would have really been unhappy with this dish. The meatball just overall didn't have the best taste. Our entrees came out next - I got the rigatoni carbonara. I started off not liking it. The pasta was on the chewy side, and while I knew there would be egg yolk. It tasted just like dipping cooked pasta in egg. It grew on me that I didn't mind it - but I wouldn't order it again. My husband ordered the tagliolini al ragu which was the real winner. If everything was as good as this, this would be a new favorite restaurant. However, everything wasn't as good. Most items were kind of underwhelming but not awful. I wanted to like it, but we just likely won't be back unfortunately. read more

Went here for a chefs table experience with a large group. This is an outstanding and fresh option for Italian in the area, a bit lighter fare than more traditional Italian. Wish I got more pictures but this was devoured before I even thought to snap a pic which is saying something!!! My favorites where the table side mozz (yes it's very much worth it and very different than store bought) and the shrimp limone pasta. Take note some dishes are quite fancy and almost michelin-esque like the gnocchi while some may feel more familiar like the bolognese. The reviews already have great pictures so take a look through. The sommelier gave us great options for a few different bottles that paired great with our choices for the night. Would certainly return! read more

Yeah I went to Rocca with 3 friends and we had an exquisite experience. The food was absolutely spectacular. A 10 out of 10 experience. Easily the best Italian restaurant in Tampa. Over 24 hours later, I still cant stop thinking about this meal. The service was great, the food was better. I can't wait to get back down to Tampa and eventually get my residency just so I can go here once a week. Let me break down what we ordered. For appetizer: Shrimp fritti 10/10- MUST HAVE dry aged steak carpaccio- MUST HAVE pork arrosticini- HIGHLY RECOMMEND The shrimp fritti and steak carpaccio were so good we had to ordered both again. Simply the best of the best. Both of these dishes are a Top 20 appetizer I've ever had. Pasta: tagliolini al ragu gnocchi the amatriciana Pastas were unbelievable. I'm not a huge gnocchi guy, not really my style but it was pretty good. The other 2 pastas are a must have. Last and most importantly, the Rohan duck. I can write a novel about this duck. This was one of the best, if not the best duck I've ever had. I'm drooling thinking about it. You MUST MUST MUST order this duck. *make sure to tell them you want the duck when you make your reservation* We were stuffed so we didn't order dessert, nonetheless I absolutely loved this place. If anyone tells me they are visiting/living in Tampa, I'm making sure they go here. read more

Two words: Mozzarella cart. It's definitely enough for two people- it's a whole pound of cheese. And it's the best mozzarella I've EVER HAD. I wish I could review some of their pasta items.. But my friend and I between the cheese and salumi were completely full and couldn't even finish those two things as is. Their wine menu is huge but our server did a great job at recommending us a nice Italian white that we both loved. Service was attentive in all the right ways, and the inside of the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous & clean. I'll definitely go back to try some of their entrees. Oh, and I highly recommend making a reservation. They seem to book out a few weeks in advance. read more

Table side Mozzarella by the cart !!!!! If asked what are the top three places I've been to in Florida this is absolutely one of them! From beginning to end the service here is top tier. Your table will be swept clean by the time your next plate is set and your water will never go without a fill. There's something so great about service where they make the customer feel so special. This is the place for a gastronomical experience. The mozzarella here is something they prepare table side and I'm not kidding you when I say it's going to be the best mozzarella you've tried in Florida hands down. And don't even get me started on that Shrimp Fritti probably one of the best appetizers I've had ever.The pasta I ordered I'll be dreaming of until the next time I return it was so incredible. The blue crab was perfect and the lemon in was so perfectly acidic but balanced. We also really enjoyed our drinks I actually got a mock tail and it was probably my favorite mock tail I've ever had, you couldn't tell me there was no alcohol in that lol it was very enjoyable. Highly recommend this for a special occasion as it could get pricey it all depends on what you're ordering. I'm shocked this restaurant snagged a Michelin star. Seriously, who did they have to bribe for this? It's beyond terrible. We didn't opt for the usual cheap dishes; we went for one of the priciest items, the duck and mozzarella cart too. Sadly, everything lacked flavor, was ridiculously hard to chew (especially the duck), and tasted below average. The fact that this place has a Michelin star just shows how disconnected the Michelin organization is from good food. If you truly believe this place is good. Please for the love of God step into any restaurant from the Asian continent once in your life. read more

While the lemon spaghetti crab pasta was delicious along with the bread and lemon butter, the portion:price ratio left us wanting more, the service was fantastic and the restaurant was gorgeous but a little crowded especially for a 9:30 reservation which was all we could find a month ahead read more

A great experience all around. The food was fantastic. We came with 4 people. 3 appetizers and 4 entrees. We split everything. Loved everything. My only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is because our mozz cart wasn't the great experience everyone talked about. It was delicious but half our table couldn't see the presentation and couldn't hear everything our server was saying. However, I would highly and would definitely return. P.s. Don't sleep on the potatoes that come with the steak! read more

Came here for birthday dinner based on personal recommendations. Easily the best food we have had in a long time. Had to do the table side mozzarella, well worth it. Had the fabulous bread and lemon butter with it and honestly could have left satisfied at that point. The steak was tempting but couldn't pass up on the homemade pasta after reading about it. We had the Agnolotti and the Tortello all' Uovo. Both wonderful, so fresh tasting and light. Had to try dessert. Burnt Cheesecake, great concept done well. Loved the Basil Custard! And a surprise birthday cake ice cream, so good! Loved the ambiance, service was fantastic! read more

This week, we checked out Rocca in Tampa for dinner. I met a few friends there and we sampled a large part of the menu. Every single item we had was outstanding. The service was exceptional throughout our visit. The only slight miss was the wine recommendations. It was definitely one of the best dinners I have had in a while. Everyone enjoyed there meals and we will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended. read more

Could not recommend this restaurant enough. From the food to the service to the ambience everything was exceptional. No expense was spared and you notice the attention to detail. The food was incredible. Ever dish was like a flavor bomb I. Your mouth, every dish had multiple textures from melt In your mouth to crunch. The drinks were also a big hit. You will not regret it. We ordered a LOT as we are big foodies. my favorite was the AGNOLOTTI salame calabrese and will order every time I go back. Also loves the green beans and blue fin tuna. My husband loves the duck and the bolognese. Can't order a bad meal here. read more

I just love this place! The ambience the staff the food is always great. My friend and I decided to grab a cocktail and a small appetizer and I decided to try the chicken liver and Foie Gras Pate! It came with pickled onions and a Moscato d'Asti jello that was so good! My friend wasn't impressed but I loved it!!! Location, service, food all incredible. Really cool vibe - classy but not over the top. The portions of entree are not big so if you're hungry need to get several appetizers. Everything was delicious - legit authentic Italian dishes all cooked to perfection. The service is high end - from when you walk in to the servers. They take a lot of pride in what they do. read more
