Have some pride in the food Yu serve basically they looked like they threw these 2 sandwiches in a blender what a mess. Should be a gold mine but I guess people in area couldn't care less about the terrible customer experience and the lackluster attempt to make anything close to Italian food (If you can't make an eggplant Parmesan hero w a quality bread and sauce why bother . Have been going to Rocco's for years, have always enjoyed their subs, salads and pizza, but last night was otherworldly. Ordered a Chicken Parmesan pizza and seriously could have been the best pie I have ever ordered. The sauce was so fresh and had a perfect crust. THIS is what New Jersey pizza should be like. Friendly fast slice joint, pizza is quite good, the dining room is clean & bright with proper tables & chairs (no formica booths), I recommend. We split a couple whole pies fresh from the brick oven. Pepperonis were perfect. Alas the fresh iced tea at Rocco is sweet. read more

This place is an insult to both Italian food and pizza! How someone can say it's the best pizza has not ventured out of the area. Over the years Rocco's has responded to increasing competition locally. My preference is still wood fired pizza but that type of fare needs to be consumed and is not refrigerator friendly. Does not reheat well. For robust, well made Pizza and the occasional excursion of a few entrees, Rocco's continues to deliver the better pizza in the immediate area! Clean, fast, consistently good end product with an engaged, happy and motivated staff! They know their market and the product very well and I feel they are #1 in Bedminster now. Delivery is excellent, whether it is lunch or evening catering scale or just a pizza. The service is very good and appreciated. Keep up the great work guys! read more

I don't know why places like this still exist. Service was bad, menus were filthy, and the entire place needed an update. I gave a second star because my eggplant parm was decent. The tomato sauce was tasty. I had to ask for bread that came with my meal, and it came cold. My friend ordered penne vodka and it was bland. How can you mess up a vodka sauce? The caesar salads were a joke. The Parmesan cheese was not authentic and the croutons were from a bag. The dressing was described as creamy but wasn't. Go to subway next door. read more

COCKROACH IN MY FOOD!!!! I used to go to Tuscany Bistro when it existed and it was the most decent pizza in the area. After they closed I was forced to start going to Rocco's. Rocco's doesn't even deserve a star given that I went to eat there and my friend had a cockroach in her soup. My friend gave it to the guy behind the counter and he didnt even care and says "oh ill get you another one" like it was nothing. This place to begin with does not look clean and the guy who commented about the dirty menus and rude service is right on. Not to mention delivery takes FOREVER and their prices are not in line with what a standard pie should be. I dont bother getting anything from Rocco's anymore let alone the somewhat nearby pizza shops. I have heard good things about the pizza (which I actually have not tried -- and thus giving this review two stars instead of one) but sitting down for a quick dinner one night I order the spaghetti carbonara. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the dish -- more than enough food for leftovers but when I dug in the experience was close to hideous. The dish was very watery. The taste was bland. Even the bacon did not make up for anything. Ouch...not coming back here unless it is to try the pizza which I am going to have trouble rating fairly after this mess. read more

Overall, Rocco's is a good place to get some food. The positives : Nice workers on the phone, nice delivery people, a place that actually delivers in the area!!, TASTY cheese steaks. The negatives: the pizza wasn't anything special. It was average or just under average. The dough was a little too thick in parts especially when the sauce is lacking in flavor. I will try more items but as for right now.... the cheesesteaks are a go, the pizza not so much. Please add more flavor to your sauce and cheese and make the dough/crust a bit thinner :( I want to like you so much more than I do. read more

Mr. F is knocking Rocco's down to 1 star and warning current & potential customers in the restaurant's delivery area to avoid. He is also contemplating calling the Board of Health & informing them of their filthy practices. They have a new delivery guy that is HORRIBLE. We ordered from Rocco's the other day. Delivery took 90 minutes, 30 minutes more than promised. When our delivery finally came, this new delivery guy was so unorganized he brought up about 10 deferent orders & OPENED EACH ORDER ON MR. F'S COUNTER TO CHECK THE ORDER. It takes a lot to shock Mr. F and this shocked him. None of the orders belonged to Mr. F, so he went back to his car, took out EVERYTHING food related from his car & opened everything right on Mr. F'S driveway. Again, Mr. F couldn't believe what he was seeing. The food was paid for & thrown out. If you are brave & order from Rocco's for delivery, first inquire if an African American man in a red Mini is the delivery guy. If he is, hang up and order somewhere else. Chances are your food was opened and inspected prior to getting to you. To Rocco's, shame on you. Please vet your employees before hiring them. You will be hearing from the Board of Health soon. read more

I loved Rocco's! My son and I were hungry after a long meeting and in search of fortification for the long ride home. Spotted a strip mall, pulled in, found Rocco's, ordered a couple of slices and a large chicken parm and sat down. The one complaint I have is that it took way to long for our food to come. But the food was great. The slices were some of the best I've ever tasted and the chicken parm - God bless them - was a real sandwich! Stuffed with a cutlet so big they folded it over and stuffed it in, and their sauce is so awesome we asked for more. Thanks, Rocco and team for a totally satisfying meal. read more

I've have a number of good meals here (a couple I wish were better) but we go here at least once a month. Sausage/onion pizza is good. Antipasto can be awesome, love it. Had Shrimp Scampi the other night it was OK, I should have ordered it with angel hair pasta. Drinks are good, some good bartenders. read more

Food is pretty decent but that's if you can catch them being open. If you want anything special, you have to return the order 3-4 times to get it right. If it's a slow day for them they will shut down at any time. It's happened to us three times and it's pretty unprofessional and an inconvenience. Needs to do better with professionalism and improve hours. Stop saying you close at 9 when you close whenever you want. And improve in customer satisfaction with orders. I used to go here pretty much every day as my 3 year son only likes eating pizza for dinner. He doesn't like eating the cheese so I always pull it off and a piece of the cheese fell in his place and while eating he calls me over to say he saw a bug. I thought maybe he saw a spider! If you have another option- try to not go here. The food is mediocre at best. And I mean everything you can get . Garlic knots taste like they needed another 5 minutes in the oven- straight dough. Carbonara tasted like coconut milk. Fries are always greasy and cold. They also literally gave me a COLD loaf of bread with my pasta. Didn't even try to pretend to heat it up. Ordered for delivery, first time I ordered from Roccos My wife and I tried the eggplant dish and linguini putenesca. You can't find putenesca on a lot of menus but but Roccos had it and was excellent my wife is Sicilian she raved about that dish very authentic !! eggplant was also very good, portions were large .price was very reasonable and delivery was fast !! this is a must try you won't be sorry read more

I'd like to start out by saying, I have 30+ years in the food and beverage industry and have worked with the public all of my life. I recently moved to the area and while I am frequently in this shopping center, I put Rocco's on my radar. I never found the pizzas particularly appetizing, but several times, I have gotten dinners, primarily take-out. Within the last 3 months, I have 3 times ordered a featured item of theirs on the blackboard in the entrance way: "Tilapia Francaise". Being a fan of this dish, the first time I ordered it, I inquired to the nice teenage boy at the register as to the price. Apparently, I was in an earshot of the guy who appears to manage the counter during the day. He got snippy and instead of addressing me, asked the boy at the register, "isn't it written on the board?" ... He then grumbled to the boy at the register, that the price is $15.99. I agreed that would be fine and proceeded with my order. I requested two orders "just the fish...hold the pasta, the salad and the bread, thank you". When the item was packaged and it was time to pay, manager guy instructed the boy at the register to only charge me $11.99 before taxes. I NEVER asked for this break, but thought it was more than fair and in very good taste. Unfriendly guy scored some points. The fish was a nice portion and fresh tasting (a little heavy on the butter), but such that in short order, I returned to the establishment and ordered the same item x 2. AGAIN, I never asked for a break but did order the bare bones- "just the fish"- And AGAIN, the manager got involved in the transaction and told the boy to charge me, $11.99. Mind you, this was all within the last 3 months. Today was to be the trifecta, same teenage black haired boy at the register took my order. Same non engaging manager guy off to the side,,yada yada. I left to procure some items at another store and returned for my order. A third person (who actually did have a personality), apologized that, there was only one order of the fish available, they had run out. I politely and pleasantly stated that it would be okay. Ironically, Mr. Congeniality decided to add insult to injury (they only had one order) and charge me $17.99 for one order sans side dish, salad and bread. I politely reminded him (in principle only,,I am not a tight wad by any means), that he usually only charges me $11.99,,, and in his typical, low brow and rude manner, he denied he EVER had or would charge me less and stuck to his guns. I made no scene and paid the elevated price, I too was having a day and just wanted to go home. I'm pretty sure these folks couldn't care less. But I want to say to little manager guy playing with his pizza dough, "That was a total d*ck move and shame to you". I will never walk through those doors again for that classless behavior and mediocre food" read more
