I signed up for a free personal training session. I called back one hour to cancel. A few days later I get a voicemail. I spoke with Angel (the new general manager) he stated my info was leaked. Previously employee signed me up. I get a voicemail For my outstanding balance of $107 Apparently there's a pattern of accounts being opened up in customers, names and bills being sent out. I don't trust any establishment with sketchy employees, especially at a time when credit fraud and credit identity theft is so prevalent. Angel was courteous and stated he will give me a call back in 48 hours. Will update review with how things were handled in a few days.

I know this review won't matter but I need to let out some hot gas. This place has gone DOWNHILL…read more They recently decided to expand the personal training area and condense the weight machines. This means you're forced to use the free weight area more, also the weight machines are super close together now. Shit doesn't fit. Why aren't you spending money on your bikes and crappy ellipticals? They need serious attention. As a gay man who primarily uses the weight machines and cardio, I'm SUPER annoyed. I say gay because I know several of us have free weight anxiety. That's where the dude bros go. I don't completely avoid it, I just don't enjoy it. It's not fair to expand the personal training area SOLELY for your greedy benefit. All so more people get trainers. Screw you LA I'm going elsewhere (sheds tear for 24hr fitness).

I will warn you to stay away from the personal training service. It is done through a third-party and I signed up shortly after joining. I was contacted once about five weeks later to ask me if I wanted to schedule a training session. By this time I had already made my first of four attempts to cancel the service. They never contacted me again about a training session, but since they wouldn't cancel my service and I stopped payments through the credit card. They got very interested in contacting me every few days about paying for the service that they never provided.

There is a "woman's only section" which is kind of cool. It has a movie theater where you can watch movies while on the cardio machines. The only thing is the woman's area is rather tiny and lacks a lot of stuff. Good thing is you can go out to the regular section and do all the workouts that you are missing. The regular gym section is large and has a big turf area which a lot of other gyms I've been to are missing. You can come here for 10 Dollars a month which is great, or 20 if you want to go to all the locations. The classes they offer are good, but not many throughout the day. For example if you want to do a cycle class the one they have is at like 5:30 am. Even if you work in the morning day 8 or 9 to be 5:30 is still super early. They do have different options of classes though, so that is cool. If you want to go to a piyoga class they offer that (Pilates mixed with yoga). They also have a sauna and a basket ball court. All in all I would say try it out. The only thing it's missing really is a pool and hot tub, but for 10 dollars you can't complain

Look this gym used to be my favorite place to be, and honestly even tho i am leaving i still wish…read morethe best for it. There are some things to look out for if you are considering this gym: 1. Be careful and read the contracts, i think they do an okay job with telling you, but remember canceling you have to "give" (whatever that's considered) a 30 day notice 2. When i left, there was no grace, the young blonde lady had some attitude and wasn't really friendly at all, (after i've been trying cancel for months but was pushed back or avoided some how) and that attitude kind of hurt because it made me feel like if i wanted to come back, i don't want to come back to that. In conclusion, it used to be a serious powerlifting/body building gym to be at, but it's slightly declined with that culture (i believe it's still there tho, and i've heard good things about their dojo) and if you aren't looking to go to a gym for that, than quite frankly the price just doesn't make sense, it will be easily 30+ dollars a month maybe a little cheaper if you get a contract. but there are gyms out there (and soon to be down the street) that are cheaper and with better equipment and facilities at that. look i've had some serious good workouts in the past there, and for the most part there is kind people, (some a little judgy) i just hate the bad taste left from that awfully passive aggressive conversation about canceling. but honestly Strouds is trying and you can tell, but just be aware of all that. Good luck

Dedicated equipment and facilities for powerlifting, strongman, Olympic weightlifting, and bodybuilding with most everything you could ever need. The amenities are great too: a full locker room with showers and sauna, dedicated martial arts dojo, and a multipurpose room with great lighting for technical practice and warm-up. The staff are friendly and carry on the Kirk Stroud legacy with honor. Trainers are available for consultation during all hours for beginners to advanced competitors. I bring all my friends here to train with me, and would love to see you here soon!
