Cute and cozy, but set your expectations right. Shower cubicle at 2.5'x2.5' is the smallest I've ever seen. The shower head was about 6'4" high with an odd angle that doesn't let it point straight downwards --- made it a little awkward washing chest down. The vaulted wooden roof is super warm and cosy to look at. The entire rooms feels so much better when you're lying on your bed looking up. It feels like a warm log cabin. It really helped that the beds were pretty comfortable too. Ours was the double queen so unpacking the suitcase left little room for people to move around. Only two sets of towels (bath+hand+face towel each) were provided, so don't forget to ask for more before their check-in office closes at 6pm if there are more than two of you. However, there's barely any room to hang 4 bath towels. I simply loved sitting out on the lawn with a hot cup of tea in one of the 4 chairs outside, around a table. The mornings and sunsets are a great time to sit out. There's also a bench outside each room. I would definitely like to go back again. read more

This is a WOW gem of a find. Feel free to consider this a lovely romantic getaway destination location. The rooms are adorable. There is also 1 room with a kitchen. This was our 2nd stay. We come to Georgetown to visit family and both times we've checked in here we feel just wonderful being here. Not many motels make me feel like this. The rates seem even more reasonable when you consider it's really the only NICE game in town. I think there are only 6 rooms. It's more like what you expect to find at a B&B...room wise...But without the breakfast! Georgetown is a very cute town to explore. So you don't need to have a reason to come here! Just come! We were here in winter so the grounds were less lush than spring and summer. The garden furniture was not out. But as nice as it was...improvements were still underway! Spring and summer are fabulously lovely here! There is a neat notebook in each room showing the renovations! I'm including pics of each room but you get more details on their website! I heard the rude and yelling voicemail left behind on my friends phone about the incident of her dogs being let out of the hotel without her permission and left to run out on the street by the manager. My extended family and I stayed in several of the rooms at the Rock CreeK Inn last week while we attended my sister's wedding in Greenwood. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Each room has its own air conditioner unit and small refrigerator too. My sister and I slept very well both nights in our 2 queen beds which were comfortable. Also, we never ran out of hot water when showering!!!. The best part was that each evening we all were able to sit out on the lawn furniture under the stars and visit with each other to unwind after the events of the day. The owner is very hospitable and friendly, always on site ready to answer any questions or recommend places to eat or visit nearby!!! I would definitely stay there again. read more

I do have to say the rooms where very nice and clean . The reason for one star was our air conditioning was broke in our room #4 and made the stay miserable on a 97 degree day in Georgetown . Was disappointed after the owner tried to look at unit , he brought us a fan and basically told us that's it . Goodnight !!!! No nothing . Beware if you go during the hot summer . So while my friend slept the bed broke. Went to office at 730 to let him know. Pic were taken before office visit and the foot of bed had no support board. So thought was all taken care of and 8the dude charges my girlfriends card 400 plus dollars and trys to say it's because they rented 3 room that night. He is a shady man. Such a cute tiny place but all you need really. I like the grounds it was beautiful and the gentlemen at the front desk was super sweet. It was clean, had a mini fridge nice size shower (i am tall). Only thing missing was a microwave. I even had to call and move my booking up a day and it was done with ease. I highly recommend them if your in the area. read more

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Diamond Suite. Nestled in the beautiful pines, this is a charming hotel. We had a full kitchen in our suite complete with any and everything we needed. Grounds are manicured and relaxing and include a fire pit, BBQ and multiple seating areas under a grape arbor with cherry trees and blackberry bushes nearby. The owners are delightful. Very nice and accommodating. Will stay here again. Grocery store very nearby as well as good eateries. We drove up To Stumpy Lake which is about 18 miles. Beautiful lake. read more

Very clean, very comfortable beds, nice owner... what else can you ask for?

I have been to rock creek about 10 times. I finally was able to bring my mom this weekend after telling her how nice it was and how nice the owner was.. My bed collapsed when I sat down to take off my shoes.. I called him to tell him and he accused me of breaking the bed.. upon asking for pics after the mattress was removed he tried to chase me away screaming to not go in.. then he got a taser and tried to tase me..then he kicked me and I called 911 and assault charges were filed. He later said that we were partying all night..slamming doors and carrying on.. we was me,my mom and her friend who are both in their 60's and we were all in bed by 8:30 pm. He charged my card $480 for a broken bed frame,after the sheriff let me in to take pics that showed no braces underneath and rotted screw holes..he changed his tune and tried to say that the charge was for 3 rooms that I had reserved for that night..which I never did. We were only there for 1 night because I had work the next night.. he's an enormous liar! And I'm not done with him! read more

This used to be the Pine View Motel and has been taken over by new owners and completely remodeled. We recently moved to Georgetown and during the time it took to purchase our property we stayed at the Rock Creek Inn three times over a period of six months. Every visit was very nice. It is newly remodeled and each room has a very homelike feel to them. High beds, cozy small rooms. It is pricey compared to some of the other places in town, but you get what you pay for. It is not a five star (yes I know I rated it five stars, but that is a relative rating!) place like a four seasons of course, you need to remember where you are at. But my wife and I both felt these were very nice, cozy rooms, they have done a wonderful job with the place. Owners are very friendly too. read more

My wife and I stayed at the Rock Creek Inn last weekend on a GroupOn Getaway. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed 2 very restful nights. As mentioned by other guest reviews, Jeff is very friendly and accomodating. He's there when you need him, but very respectful of your privacy. The room was nicely decorated, very comfortable and cozy, very clean. Without the GroupOn deal this would have been a bit outside our price range but I would still recommend it as a great place to stay. The area is beautiful and there are many sights to see. My husband and I went there for a duel purpose, to celebrate his birthday as well as scout out the area for a planned relocation. Not only did Jeff call me ahead of time to ask what my husband's favorite beverage was, but he suggested a great dinner at Camp Virner for his birthday. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by Jeff who was showing us all of the great local areas to visit. He also had tons of information for surrounding areas. Our room was very clean and bed was comfy. Furnishings were in antique style that I appreciate. There's even a lovely area to sit outside and read or just enjoy listening to the rustling of the trees. On our first night we walked over to Terry's Pizzeria for dinner. Nothing fancy, but service was friendly and pizza was good. The second night we went to Camp Virner and enjoyed a warm, cozy atmosphere. Our entrees were fresh and hot, and portions large. They even brought out cake for my husband's birthday. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay! Jeff and Summer are great! We will definitely be returning again! read more

We loved our stay at Rock Creek Inn this weekend. We found the Inn through livingsocial.com. When Jeff, the current owner, called Friday morning to make sure we were going to be able to make it over the pass (from Reno) in the storms, I knew we made a good choice. We arrived about 2 hours later than I told him we would and when we tried to check in and he found out we hadn't had dinner yet, he called up a local favorite (see Camp Virner review) and sent us for a late dinner - extending his work day until we got back from dinner. The accommodations are very pleasant. Jeff even turned the heater on in our room to prepare it for our arrival. The room was beautiful, clean, and cozy. From what we could see, the grounds were beautiful. The weather didn't really cooperate for our trip, so we'll have to explore them more on a return visit. We plan to return and explore the area more when the weather cooperates. read more

LOVED it! My husband booked this for a quick 2-night getaway that would allow us to explore the area. It was pristinely clean and cozy - the flower bouquet upon check in was lovely and the surrounding area was very well kept. I was pleased with how NOT noisy our room was - perhaps it's off-season or the heater fan muffled any ambient sound, but we couldn't hear the highway at all. The only complaint I have (and it's teensy) was that the shower head was very low. I'm 6' tall and it hit right around my neck. If they would put in a hand held shower head about a foot higher I'd give it a full 5 stars! read more
