It was towards the end of the night for them on a weekday, and I just wanted a gin soda. It's a rare occasion for me to he asked whether I want a single or double. So I enjoyed that, and noticed how big the place actually is. I feel like the only thing it's missing is a pool table, haha (unless I missed it). They have an excellent happy hour that I would love to try if I was in the area, but it's kind of far from home. Based on recent reviews, things do seem to be mixed, and I didn't try the food. But I most likely will the next time that I go, whenever that is. I appreciate it the friendly staff, the music, and the vibe of the place and I would recommend it to anyone in the area for drinks at least.

As far as the food, it was good but nothing exceptional, the pierogies were the best thing we tried, the so called "best wings in Moco" were a let down, dry and stringy while the grilled chicken sandwich was quite dry but it still tasted good. Overall the experience was alright but not great or exceptional.

Okay first things first, I'll say the food is AMAZING here!! Came with my boyfriend looking for…read moresome late night food and this was the only thing that wasn't fast food open late. It was JUMPIN' this night! It was a Saturday - they had a DJ, waitresses dressed in matching outfits, and it was packed in there. Disco lights went crazy. Somehow we were able to get a table and sat down to order food. We thought we could get good margaritas here but the only flavor they offered was lime unfortunately. Our food took a really long time to come out but when it did, omg it was worth the wait. It was hot and you could tell everything was fresh and quality. Side note: knowing Spanish will help a lot when coming here. It's a mainly Spanish speaking establishment. Luckily, I'm Latina so I could communicate with the waitress once I noticed her English wasn't strong. All in all, this is a good spot for good Mexican food and late night food. I just give it 4 stars for the lack of cocktails...they didn't have a lot of what showed on the menu (pina coladas, etc.) and for the long wait for food when most people were just drinking at the bar.

Last month my son and I were in Midlothian for a soccer tournament. Between games his cell phone…read morescreen broke and we found a little repair shop in Midlothian. While waiting to get it fixed we Found Antojitos, a little Mexican cantina in an older strip mall. It was early aftternoon, and there were several groups of men and families eating and drinking. I sensed that they had been there for awhIle, and intended to stay longer, as if this www how they usual spent their Saturday afternoons. Scanning the menu for something interesting my eyes caught the word Mondongo. Reading the menu details ( in Spanish only) I conFirmed that this was a rich tripe stew. I think my son had a steak and egg burrito. Our meals took a while to arrive. Maybe 20 mInutes. The Mondongo was served in a large bowl. The rich orange broth was brimming with large chunks of glistening honeycomb tripe. I Waac also thrilled to encounter chunks of cartilaginous knuckle bones, and a medley or recognizable and non recognizable fruits and vegetables. First, the broth. It was rich with Umami suggesting hours of boiling down pigs feet and knuckle bones. It had a tomato background, but also tasted of pumpkin, and even roasted pumpkinseeds. There was a hint of masa harina reminiscent of tamales. I couldn't identify the other flavors, maybe star anise or allspice. There were big chunks of yuccaa, and plantain slices skin and all. There was some green, maybe chayote. But the Honeycomb Tripe. The three times washed washed cow's stomach was soft and soothing. For the FIRST TIME EVER, I enjoyed a bowl of stomach without any odor or flavor of offal. I keep trying without success to replicate that recipe. Fortunately we have another soccer tournament in two weeks. I'll be back. Jim L

Although I was flattered, I explained I was married, to which he asked me where my husband was. I mentioned my husband was waiting in the car, to which he then implied that because he was in the car, I should engadge in flirtation with him back. He then proceeded to ask me if I had any substances or any he could, "tap". The place…read morewas packed when we arrived, and it was pretty noisy inside, so sitting outside turned out to be the right call. The only rough part was the welcome. The hostess seemed to avoid eye contact for about five minutes even though we were standing right in front of her. It felt a little like we had shown up too early for a surprise party that was clearly not for us. Once we were seated, everything improved. Our waitress, Paige, was attentive, thoughtful, and made the experience feel genuinely warm. We started with the mussels, which were exceptional; meaty, creamy, and delicious, with bread good enough to make restraint feel optional. We also had the mini Paloma oyster shooters, which were fun and memorable. I ordered a seasonal cocktail with very little simple syrup, since I usually do not like sweet drinks, and they got it exactly right, which is rarer than it should be. For the main course, we had the seasonal surf and turf special, an 8 oz filet mignon with crab meat over asparagus and succotash. The crust on the steak was excellent, the vegetables were perfectly seasoned, and the filet was cooked exactly as ordered. We finished with their newer take on key lime pie, which was very good and nicely balanced; not too sweet, not too tart. We spent just under $100 per person, so this is not an inexpensive night out. That said, the food quality and service largely justify the price. Overall, aside from the awkward start at the hostess stand, this was an excellent first visit. We spent just under $100 per person, so GrillMarX is not playing in the bargain bin, but the food and service were strong enough that we would absolutely come back
