They have been taking care of my landscaping for about 2 years. Their price is competitive with other companies that I contacted, perhaps just a bit more expensive. The requirement that they have when they provide service is that they perform three 'functions'. I have a very small area of grass and so I certainly do not need for them to mow this small area. The functions that they provide are mulching in the Spring, pruning and clean up during the summer and really throughout the year, and blowing the leaves in the fall. I really like the guys who come out to my home to do the work. The central problem with this company is that the supervision is inadequate, the training is poor and the communication between teams who come to your home is non-existent. Whenever I call the company, they are friendly and note down my preferences. Sometimes this info is communicated to the men who come to my home. Often it is not. When I see that the guys have arrived, they listen and do everything that I would want. But if not, then it just doesn't work. In addition, when they do have someone who knows what he's doing, how to take care of plants, the person leaves the company. The guys just do not understand landscaping or plants. This is where the severe lack of training is so obvious. It may be that my needs are different than many of their other customers, but the requests don't seem to be that complex. I suggest considering another company.

We walked through what we wanted, and Cara provided us with a sketch of her ideas and thoughts on paver types, moving a water drain, and other items. We approved the plans with a minor modification, and they got right to work. The workers came over early each day to work, and were great. They were also very considerate of our neighbors. Some of the work generated a ton of dust, and our neighbor voiced concerns about it flying into her yard. They made adjustments to minimize the dust. Our neighbor even commented to us how great they were about it. About 2 weeks later, we have an amazing backyard. We've got the furniture back there, along with plants in the stone-walled garden. it looks fantastic, and we could not be happier. The staff were courteous and professional. On September 14, 2024, Standard Paving installed a new asphalt driveway at my home. The job included a warranty for workmanship and materials, as well as an additional one-year warranty for an oil sealant application. Less than a year later, the driveway began showing serious structural issues: centerline separation, multiple cracks, crumbling edges, a visible hole near the garage, exposed stones, water leaking through seams, and a noticeably thin and hollow layer of asphalt--clearly less than 2 inches thick. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve the situation, including a certified letter and a formal legal demand letter requesting inspection and warranty-covered repairs. I gave a clear deadline and documented every issue. To date, there has been no response whatsoever--despite also paying for the sealant warranty that clearly failed. Also important to note: do not be quick to leave a positive Google review when asked during installation or immediately after. One of their journeymen, John, pushed me to post a review on the day of service. I was hesitant and said I'd wait--and I'm so glad I did. This is why their ratings appear high online, but in reality, they're not warranted. Buyers beware. I expected professionalism, accountability, and basic follow-through. Sadly, I've experienced none of that and am now left with costly issues and no support. Please do your research before hiring.

They weren't aware that the seeds that they were giving don't list specific weeds that aren't noctious. Neighbor and I have a yard full of weeds we didnt hvae prior to hiring them. They offered to send someone to help pull them but then never did. They then send another person out who was supposed to get us an estimate for starting over, and he never sent the estimate. Find another company.
