Located inside Dis very Bay mini mall. Food is Vietnamese. Soup noodle Pho was good, all meats, broth, and veggies all in bowl. Banana rolls very good, crispy skin, soft banana inside. Beef stew good, comes with choice of rice, noodle or bread. Service was excellent, friendly and very attentive for what we need. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is similar to small eat and go cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Beware, 3% fee if using credit card. Overall 3.5 stars out of 5. Round up to 4 stars.

Tofu VIETNAMESE CURRY & RICE (Mild) with tofu

This is a nice, fast, and affordable lunch option. I ordered ahead through UberEats and our food was ready about 10 minutes later. I enjoyed my tofu curry.

The pho was perfect for warming me up after returning from a sunset sail. I love how there are many vegan options. The broth for the vegan was light and tasty. Along with tofu and the usual pho vegetables (basil, beans sprouts, onion), they included other vegetables like cauliflower and carrots. The tofu had a sour/tangy taste. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside of the restaurant since I came with a group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food came out quick after ordering. As for payment recommend cash.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very lovely place. It was quiet and not a lot of patrons inside so I think people are missing out on a little gem.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the pork bánh xèo. Perfect in flavor down to the tender pork belly. The belly was sliced so thin there was no unlikeable fatty chew to it. Lots of fresh toppings for it: basil, bean sprouts, cucumbers, pickled daikon and carrots. The beef stew my husband had was so rich in flavor, both sweet and cravably savory. The beef tender and filling. The fried banana rolls were a good amount of sweet but because of how they're wrapped, can feel a bit greasy. I'd had loved to see it with some vanilla ice cream to take it over the top and break up some of the greasiness. Overall very good place to try.

I'm so glad we found this restaurant, it was across the street from the hotel we were staying. The waitress was very friendly. The food was so delicious, so fresh. The nuc mam sauce was done so well especially after I added the side table chilli oil- I was dipping everything in there, even the vegetables. Authentic Vietnamese Food! Also, side note, it's conveniently located nextdoor to The ABC Suprette store.

Unexpectedly stopped here with friends and found it to be a gem. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very simple and casual ambience with delicious food and friendly counter service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the prices were reasonable for the Waikiki area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Vietnamese Pancake

After browsing the late-night options in the area, I wanted something comforting and casual. After a fair amount of looking at the bahn mi and pho, I got the vietnamese pancake and a ginger lemonade. The pancake was crispy, light, and airy throughout, the pork was flavorful and cooked just the right amount, and the pickled vegetables and cucumbers cut through the richness and fat to make for a balanced and forkful that was sweet, sour, savory, crunchy, tender, just a super satisfying bite. Even after 15-20 minutes, it still retained some crunch on the bottom layer. The ginger lemonade I ordered with some reservation because I feel like more often than not this simple beverage is done really poorly and leaves an acrid aftertaste in the mouth. I could have easily drankanother, and third to go. As someone who has made lemonade from scratch, this is a really good one, and the addition of some soda water puts it over the top. When I showed up it was fairly late and there was only one other person eating there. The service was friendly and prompt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was small inside like most restaurants below the 50 dollars a head line in waikiki, but it was very cozy and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It would be great place for a small group to have a nice relaxing and casual dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I hope to be back and try a few more options before I leave.

    Tina R.

I love me some Vietnamese food but I was a little disappointed in the quality of the meals. Service was okay, attentive but mostly bringing the meal to you and letting you walk up to pay after. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very casual vibe. Kind of a small space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking was $6 for us, we only stayed for about 50 minutes . You can park at Discovery Bay. There's not a lot of spots so cross your fingers! Food wasn't the best. We love to support our Vietnamese businesses but this one was a rough one. We ordered a lot of items and they all fell short. -spring rolls (they fry it with the banana lumpias so the spring rolls have a banana taste to it. If you don't mind this then order it.) -Vietnamese crepe (not as much flavor as I thought it would have considering viet crepes usually have a turmeric taste) -manupua bao (it was ok but Chan wah kam has better ones. I would say this one is very health conscious and made in that manner) -vermicelli and tofu (tofu had minimal flavor to it, was tough because they are generous with their quantities) I wouldn't really go out of my way, especially all the way out to Waikiki to eat here again. But they are kind and try their best. It just really wasn't my vibe.

The food is amazing, but the service is even better. The owners are amazing Cindy and Bobby I really enjoy their company and their whole families here and it just feels like I've been in the heart of the city upon Honolulu by the way the shrimp PHO is so good

    Angel H.

I was a little late getting here. The sign on the door said that they close at 9pm. I got here around 9:10pm and the cashier at the door said that they were still open. Since it was so late I just needed a little snack. I got an order of the crispy banana rolls $7 and a tapioca pudding $6. The crispy banana rolls came with three pieces. The tapioca was really thick. It was one of the thickest that I've had in my life. The hubby really liked it though. He likes his tapioca thick. I prefer mine on the thinner side. The service was swift and smooth. The cashier was really sweet. There will be a 3% fee if you use your charge card.

    Lilly M.

Very friendly service, the pork vermicelli I ordered was also good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was run down strip mall esque[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. But the food makes up for it!

So the thing about coming to Fun Station is the "suspended flying noodle thingy" which I didn't go for, but if you like Instagramable stuffs, then I supposed you would probably go for that flying-noodle dish. As for me, I mainly came to try their Minute Chicken Cake Noodles, and as a bonus......... I actually got a 20% discount thanks to my friend - Jennifer C. who let a Bruddah know about da DEALAGES in da Sunday food section newspaper, as they had a coupon! The Sunday morning when I came with my friend, I can clearly see that this restaurant was thriving, as every table in the restaurant was taken. Fun Station specializes in noodles, but if you're not into that, they do serve other items like - soups, vegetable dishes, rice plates, & porridge (jook). Upon looking over the menu, we ordered the following items - 1. Frrrrrrried Chicken Wings ($9.95) for an appetizer 2. Minute Chicken Cake Noodles ($17.95 - minus da 20% coupon DEALAGES) 3. Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton in soup ($18.95) What can I say about da grub??? Da chicken wings came out hot & crispy. Although they featured only "flats" vs. drums (I like drums), I must say da wings was nicely executed. As for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles.........nicely plated on a fancy smanshy panda plate. The cake noodles weren't drowning in gravy, so the noodles stayed crispy on the dish. I really liked how they did this dish, and would easily come back here to eat it again. My friend had the Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton soup. The dish looked good, and there weren't any complaints, so I take it that it was pretty ono! Overall, a very satisfying meal and the service here was on point, as the staff was friendly & very efficient. Easy 5 stars for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles! Chance 'em!

It's tucked…read moreinto a small strip mall, the dining room is no frills and if someone told me it was just another average neighborhood Chinese restaurant, I'd probably believe them. Then the food starts arriving. We ordered way more than we needed and almost everything impressed me. The chow fun was cooked exactly the way I like it. Chewy, smoky and never overcooked. My only complaint was that it leaned a little saltier than I prefer, but it was still very good. The Hainan chicken was the surprise of the meal. Perfectly tender with an incredible ginger sauce that I'd happily put on just about anything. Even the dishes I normally avoid won me over. I've never been much of a lotus root person, but theirs was crisp, savory and honestly delicious. The wontons were another highlight. Since we skipped the noodles, they generously gave us extra wontons instead, which was a really thoughtful touch. What really pushed this place from good to memorable, though, was the staff. We were there with our two and four year old and they couldn't have been kinder. They brought over little toys to keep the kids occupied, checked on us throughout the meal and made us feel genuinely welcome. None of it felt forced. It was just warm, thoughtful hospitality and that's something I always remember long after I've forgotten exactly what I ate. The bathroom situation isn't ideal, you have to use the one outside the restaurant, but that's really my only complaint beyond the slightly salty chow fun. This isn't the place I'd recommend for date night or a long evening out. It's the kind of neighborhood restaurant you walk into expecting very little, then leave thinking, that was a lot better than it had any right to be. We'll definitely be back.

There was a couple in front of us who said they come here every time they visit Hawaiʻi and that it's a must-do stop on every trip. When you walk in, it's a small place. You can watch a team member washing the noodles and portioning them into bowls right in front of you. Then you choose your bowl size, small or large, and select your broth. About 15 minutes later our order was ready, and we Ubered back to our hotel, which only took a few minutes. When we opened everything up, the portion felt a bit small for the price. One of the sides was poke, which we've never seen at a Korean restaurant before. It was unexpected, but so fresh and delicious. We ordered the cold noodles, spicy pork bulgogi, and seafood pancake. Everything was really good, and we'd honestly rank those dishes above most of the Korean restaurants we've been to. The seafood pancake was packed with seafood flavor, and they definitely didn't skimp on the squid. The spicy pork bulgogi came with a bowl of rice and had the right amount of spicy. The cold noodles totally hit the spot and had just the right amount of toppings in every bite. I was left very satisfied and we even had leftovers of the pork and pancake to take home. Service was friendly, and everything arrived in a timely manner. We'll definitely be back soon to try the AYCE and the soups!

I came here for lunch. I noticed this place changed owners awhile ago. Under the new name,…read moreMoobongri, they offer Ala carte menu items as well as an AYCE menu. I like that they open at 10am and that they serve delicious banchan. I came in one weekday and was seated at one of the regular tables. I guess they assumed I wasn't going to get the AYCE, even though it's pretty affordable for weekday lunch (like $28). Id like to come back to try the ayce sometime. I decided on the cold noodle and kalbi combo for $24. The cold noodles by themselves are only $14, so I thought there would be at least a couple pieces of kalbi in the combo. Nope. Apparently one piece of kalbi is $10. It was served hot, but it was served on a hot plate with onions and the plate itself wasn't hot. Why serve it on a hot plate? Very confusing. The cold noodles were refreshing, but you can get pretty good cold noodles at any Korean restaurant I think. I was a little disappointed in the quantity of food for the combo. Or I wish they had an actual lunch special, maybe I should have just got the ayce at this point right? But I wanted the cold noodles.... Oh well. It doesn't seem like they changed the interior all that much. It was pretty nice inside to begin with and there is a big parking lot. The workers come by when you ring the table side bell. Lol, otherwise they kind of just drop off the food and leave you alone. I was surprised there were like 3 other couples eating from the Ala carte menu at 10:30. I would possibly come back to try their other soups, but I wouldn't get suckered into getting the combos.
