I would consider staying here if absolutely needed but it wouldn't be my first choice because I can't tolerate cigarette or marijuana smoke. After checking in, we noticed the room had not been cleaned thoroughly, including hair on the carpet and in the shower, as well as yellow stains on the sofa bed mattress cover. As someone who previously worked for Marriott for over 12 years, I was disappointed because this experience did not reflect the usual standards of cleanliness and service I expect, and the $25 parking fee for an open, unsecured lot added to the frustration. I do not recommend this property. Hopefully they can train their staff better, I did report my concerns to front desk agent.

We've made use of the pool area and have taken walks along the Riverwalk trail. Shout out to Xavier in the leasing office. He was very communicative and helpful during the leasing process. He answered all my questions and quickly processed our applications. The one drawback is the parking. You aren't given a reserved parking spot, which I found to be common practice in other apartment leases. You have to pay an additional fee for a carport or garage space. However, you're free to park in the uncovered parking spots, which I haven't found to be an issue yet. Overall, I'm having a positive experience (besides the cloggers, but that's somewhat expected with upstairs neighbors).

This is one of the few places we're the bed works well for those of us above 6ft, though it makes me wonder how someone with an invisible disability navigates this. This Inn has a kitchen, sofa, and desk. Please remember to leave pen and paper in the room if possible, and find a way to reduce the noise from the AC unit. Also, the office space downstairs is well Equipped and would work better if the work desk was adjustable. It was difficult for me to use it at the fixed height . I would happily stay here again and enjoy the amenities and comfort of this Inn.

Where things fell short were the other guests. They would attend daily breakfast unshowered and smelled bad. The service staff over all were pretty rude my entire week. I did not care for that. There was one older lady in the dining hall who was sweet however. I left notes for my housekeeper. She did make the beds neatly, however she took apart my shower and left it like that one time. Another she threw a soaking wet towel I used to step on in the shower to prevent athletes foot in the corner of the shower. I started ringing out the water after that and hanging it up. I still left her a tip and a gift. Also my last 3 days someone occupied next door and it stunk to high hell of curry. I had to clog my sink drains with the stoppers and put a towel under my front door. So the walls are thin. The pool was merky so my boys only swam once. Also homeless would sneak in and do laundry and be in the lobby drinking beer. One was escorted out by police one day. Parking was safe. Another girl who was at the front desk during the day always greeted us with a smile too but I did not catch her name. Overall the location couldn't be matched I was one Main Street over from my apt.

The team here--especially Khadijah and Renee--is absolutely incredible. They are warm, professional, and genuinely make you feel like a VIP. The maintenance team is just as amazing: kind, responsive, and always helpful. The property itself is immaculate. I love taking walks around the complex just to get my steps in because everything is so well-manicured, peaceful, and incredibly clean. There's this subtle, elegant scent throughout the community--I have no idea what they use, but it adds to the luxury feel in such a beautiful way. My apartment is truly top-notch. The attention to detail in the finishes is unmatched. Everything feels intentional and elevated. You can tell real thought was put into the design. The location is unbeatable too--just a short walk to The Plaza where I often enjoy dinner and entertainment. There's even a nearby club that has delicious food and fun drag shows--it's a blast! Meeting Khadijah the property manager on the first walk of the property sold me instantly and from then on I never questioned my decision of moving in and calling Citron Apartments home. The convenience of the shopping complex directly across the street to the short commute to where I worked requiring me to never touch a freeway was superb! For those young adults who also want a night life gave you the ease of the night life being far enough to not conflict with one's living and close enough where Ubers and Lyfts cost nothing. I lived in this complex from 2024 to 2026 and it was genuinely one of the most stressful,…read morefrustrating, and time consuming experiences just trying to live in an apartment I have ever had. When we moved in they forgot to put a handle on the shower to turn it on and adjust the temp, then they came in and put the handle on backwards, I asked them to fix it and it somehow ended up backwards again (it only has two sides how did they get it wrong?)... So we just got used to hot being cold and cold being hot. Then our upstairs neighbors began to have daily fights, outbursts... Their stomping made my bookshelves shake it was so hard. One time my desk chair physically shook and I thought a quake was hitting. I complained about this for 2 years. Our neighbors complained. The cops were called. Security was called. Management said "sorry nothing is wrong" when we expressed concerns. Speaking of the management. Do you like printed notices on your door 3 times a week? Then you will love them. Every single unit (even the empty ones haha) get printed notices on them. Warnings, news that your water will be shut off the next day for hours (this happens regularly), etc. the property manager has her staff tape them to your door instead of just sending an email or something and honestly it was annoying but also kind of funny because it was just very dumb. If you have a car I hope you also do not mind it being hit several times by the people in the reserved spot next to you! The spaces were originally larger and you can see where management had them halved and so none of the cars fit. That is if you are lucky enough to not get towed mistakenly! Something else management also does. She literally had our moving guys towed when they were actively moving us INTO the apartment in 2024. But wait! There's more! If you live in the back building please know there is a permanent roach infestation that never goes away because the maintenance breakroom that's behind the laundry room on the second floor is so constantly full of leftover food & waste that they just LIVE there now. So I hope you don't mind having one crawl out of your vent at 3am in the Summer! I firmly believe there is a fine line between maliciousness and incompetence and that the property manager of South Palm has found a way to blur it so much that I cannot tell if she is trying to be Jigsaw or if she is just bad at her job. Genuinely just do not move into this apartment. It is like a Silent Hill of some incompetent property manager's making and I would only wish it on people whom I genuinely hate. it's horrible. go anywhere else, please.
