Now serving VEGAN cheese was flashing on the marquee, so I was very excited to try, and talked our large group into Rock the Guac, instead of pizza! We ordered togo over the phone, there was actually no vegan cheese, but they talked me into the jackfruit burrito. We went and picked up the food, at 9:45 and grabbed a couple beers, the girl at the register repeated back the order, we paid, had to ask multiple times for hot sauce containers. We ordered $80, and when we walked back to our hotel we realized we were missing items. We called the store at 10:03, and the girl on the phone said they were closed and couldn't make it. Of course the jackfruit burrito was missing that they recommended, as well as quesadillas and my sons tacos. So now we are out $88, they are closed and my kids hungry. The girl says best she can do is give me 10% off if I come in tomorrow. We called the next day and spoke with Mike, the manager over the phone. He apologized about the mishap, said he knew about it already and offered to refund the check. We agreed, since we mostly wanted to remove the tip for the terrible togo experience, and the $35 in missing food. Waited for the pending charge to go away, and instead it has posted. Called again and they 'refunded' $25 of the $88. Guac was good. There is no vegan cheese. Take your business to Epic burrito across the street. read more

Nice little spot near the the touristy area of Cocoa. I ordered the chicken tacos and got two hard shell and one flour--they were decent. The meat was fresh and well seasoned. It's good-enough. In reality Rock the Guac is a kitschier version of chipotle. Considering it's an area meant for tourists, I'd say it's reasonably priced; but, if it were primarily catering to locals, I would say that it's over priced. If your in the area and want something inexpensive that will fill you up, it's a good option. If you are looking for "Mexican food", this may not be ideal for what you're craving. read more

We were just passing through on our way home after a short ride over to Cocoa Beach when I got the rumble of an empty stomach. I looked up and saw a cool sign for "Rock the Guac" Tacos & Burritos. What a cool place. There is quick parking right out front just off the A1A. We were greeted by Toni, behind tge counter. I decided to let Toni construct my tacos; Chef's choice style. I am not normally a fan of hard taco shells; so many times they are stale. But, Toni, recommended the hard shell. So I went with it. Let me get to the point - the fresh and crispy shells were the perfect vehicle for the well seasoned, tasty beef filling. Toni added cheese, lettuce, tomato, fresh green peppers, salsa and banana peppers. With a side of guacamole my taco trio was ready. Simply put these tacos were delicious. My wife had the chicken quesadilla. I sampled a bite and it was really good. They have a great thematic decor and a friendly staff. Ken and Toni were very friendly and welcoming. I have two separate experiences to share.. First, my husband called to place an order for "curbside pick up" as indicated on the website is a service offered and the employee that picked up the phone indicated they don't offer curbside service and that they were short staffed as well. My husband also informed the employee he is in a wheelchair but it did not matter to that employee. The second experience happened about a couple weeks after the first experience.. this time- me, husband, & son decided we wanted to do "dine in". As we approach the front entrance, we noticed steps and no ramp. I go inside to ask the employee if there was another entrance that has a wheelchair ramp and she said the front was the only entrance.. So, we ended up doing take-out. Going back to the first experience, knowing they don't have a ramp for someone in a wheelchair and refusing to do curbside service is poor customer service. Usually when we get a hankering for a burrito, we would load up in the car and drive down to Da Kine's Insane Burrito. It was a hassle, but worth the drive. Ignore the 'torpedo' reviews, they are based on something other than reality. When we heard Rock the Guac was opening up at the intersection of A1A and 520 (next to Ron Jon) we were hoping we'd have a good burrito joint nearby. We usually wait a couple months before we try out a new joint so they get into their groove, but some friends ate at Rock the Guac and told us it was great. So today at lunchtime we decided to give it a shot. Absolute home run all the way around. The service was fast and friendly, the food was great, the atmosphere was fun, the iced tea was perfect and the bathrooms clean. I never thought it would be possible, but my burrito was actually better than the ones I get a Da Kine...and I have nothing but good things to say about insane burritos. Quick note, these are 'wrap style' California burritos, not the melted cheese ones you get at a traditional Mexican restaurant. The serve style is like Chipotle, you pick your vehicle, meats, cheeses, sauces...etc. But I think the choices are better and the flavor is MUCH fresher. My wife had the burrito bowl and loved it. It's great to have a fast food option that doesn't involve a greasy burger or a flavorless pizza. Nothing is more satisfying than a burrito filled with healthy food and fantastic fresh home-made salsas. This is certainly on our list of favorite local spots, and its only a few minutes away from us. You can park in the rear, or over by Ron Jons. -------------------- Update: I flagged the obvious fake reviews (One of the reviews, with 1 review, giving one star as an example) , but even as a YELP Elite Reviewer this 'yelper' counts as much as my review. Conveniently located on the main strip along the beach right next to Ron Jon's, near Hwy 520. I stopped in for a taco fix after a few hours on the beach. I saw that they had a deal for 2 tacos, chips and a drink for under 7 bucks! YES, please! They usually use flour tortillas and crunchy was the only option for a corn tortilla. That's fine. The pork was tender and juicy. You can add your own toppings as they built your food. I tried the original quac; it was tasty and fresh. The dude behind the counter was nice. Good enough. This place only recently opened, but it gets better every time I visit! I've only had the burrito bowl so far (in about 5 visits!), so that's all I can speak to - but you get a HUGE portion for your price. This place actually has more ingredients than a lot of other places (such as Chipotle) and they always test fresh and delicious. Lots of salsas to choose from and several different cheeses even. I would recommend going for their specialty guacamole, even if it's at a slight up charge. Their spicy cheese guac is always fresh and flavorful. I love that they have freshly chopped up jalapeños here too. That's a nice touch as too many places offer the pickled or just not as spicy versions of jalapeños. I've tried their steak, chicken, and pork for the burrito bowls. My opinion is the chicken is the best. As for the atmosphere, it's freshly painted and nice and clean all around. Employees are always friendly and talkative here, which makes you feel nice and welcome. They usually have some 90's rock playing ("rock" the guac!), which is usually just loud enough to create some good background noise. My only compliant about this place would be parking! I know they can't do much about that situation, but it's somewhat of a hard location to get to. Luckily, I live close enough I can just walk most of the time. I would love to see this place adopt some late night hours on the weekends. I think they could do some killer business if they stayed open until 3am on Saturday nights around here (bars close at 2am and no good food options). I've wanted a good, quality, burrito place in the Cocoa Beach area for awhile and I'm happy to see that I think I found it! read more

Wow! This place does rock! I stumbled upon it after being chased off the nearby beach by lifeguards because of a tornado warning! So I was walking along and was captivated by the colorful store with the neon window signs. I got to thinking a burrito would be just the thing to see me through the Arctic Chill coming. My mistake and the reason for a 1 YELP STAR deduction: Rock the Guac is pricey but well worth it. It does seem like a Chipolte where you pick your own ingredients to make your burrito but by the time I was done loading, I was up to over $8! For a burrito! Yikes! Still, it was delicious. I came back the next day to pay the dude behind the counter a tip I could not afford the other night & then ordered a simple basket of fresh tortilla chips and guacamole! OMG, so delicious! The guac was supreme--chunky but flavorful. It was awesome. Rock the Guac does do delivery in the area, BTW. Maybe some people might think Rock the Guac is touristy and when I was there it did seem, along with myself, that a lot of the customers were Florida visitors. But so what. I was out and about with my wife today in the Cocoa Beach area and we decided on some Mexican cuisine today. So I yelped some places and this place, Rock the Guac comes up. Well now I'm thinking it's probably a great sit down and order type of place. Nope! Well surprise surprise, I was totally wrong. However, no disappointment at all. The food was fantastic! Very simple menu here but it's definately tasty and plentiful. The burrito I ordered was like a football, (the tortilla was quite large) and I chose to load it up with all kinds of fresh stuff like steak, Spanish rice, black beans, cilantro, jalapenos, onions and ofcourse guacamole. My wife ordered a chicken quesadilla and loved it but couldn't eat it all! Oh, and the chips and salsa is very good too I must add. My boyfriends family and I went in for dinner and everything was amazing. The workers are very respectful and nice and seem to enjoy their job. The food is perfect. I got. burrito bowl and the rest got nacho bowls. Their pork is out of this world and definitely recommended. I got spanish rice with my burrito bowl and it was phenomenal. One of my favorite things in total is the owner. The owner is very nice he reallly cares about the restaurant and cares about his customers and their opinions. He always makes sure the customers food is good and ALWAYS asks about his customers day. He talks to every customer and greets them. This restaurant is a 11/10 and i recommend this to everyone who likes mexican. We loved this place. And thank you to the owner because we loved having a conversation with you. Dang I really wanted to give this place a good review because the killer name but unfortunately, something happened that I never thought was possible. I tossed my burrito in the garbajj. So to start things off, the place was a ghost town when we first walked in. Tell tale sign to flip a b and get out of dodge. Again, the name of the joint was the only fuel to keep me going. Finally someone decides to pull up to get shaping. So it was a chip style burrito place where they craft the masterpiece in front of you. I'm fine with that. What I'm not fine with is the 7 pieces of rice she put on the burrito to start it off. I knew it was going down hill but I kept entertaining it. Black beans, obviously. Decent amount. Not complaining. Enter the meats, "We're out of steak". Oof! I'm pissed now. Shell shocked, my jiminy cricket says "turn around" but I was already in too deep, I had to keep going. Apprehensively, I say chicken (which I never go with) but decided to change it up. The other ingredients were refreshing with a choice of fresh jalapeños, corn and bean salsa, chipotle ranch sauce, so I thought it might have a chance to be decent. I was wrong. I went here to eat today with a friend of mine. I have been here in the past bit she had not. I ordered the 3 tacos and she had the nacho bowl. Portions were very big as I could not finish my 3 rd taco. She took home half of her bowl as well. The food was ok. Definitely not the greatest Mexican around but ok for a quick bite. My only complaint is I don't understand the logic behind charging extra for guacamole when the name of your restaurant is "rock the guac". In my eyes having that name implies guacamole would come with every meal without an additional cost. Maybe it's just me, but I'd raise the prices by a dollar (which is what the charge if you want guac on your tacos) and allow people that like guac to get some without an extra cost. read more

When I asked for boxes (after waiting for quite a bit) they did not give me a plastic bag and after waiting for over five minutes while only one person was available to handle the guests coming in, and not even being acknowledged, we eventually just left.
