The portions are absolutely enormous, so if large portions are your measure of a good restaurant, you won't be disappointed. This place was a great find. It's located right next to Ron Jon's and is festively decorated. This hole in the wall had homemade guac and really delicious mild queso. We ordered the taco salad and a burrito. We loved that you get to build your own meal. My husband got pork in the burrito and I got chicken on my salad. While both were good, the pork was on a different level. Highly recommend for a casual meal near the beach. read more

My family and I stopped into Rock the Guac on a recent trip to Cocoa Beach for a quick lunch. After years of going to Cocoa Beach, we were pleasantly surprised with this spot! It is located just steps away from Ron Jons and they have their own parking lot (although small). We arrived just as they opened (noon on Sunday - typical of the area) and found the place to be clean and the staff to be friendly. We enjoyed a variety of tacos as well as chips & guac (of course!), salsa & queso. All of it was quite tasty! We were also happy to find that they had draft beer available and a pretty extensive sauce bar (sauce not salsa). The restaurant is set up where you order your meat and dish style (taco, burrito, quesadilla, etc.) at the front of the line and then customize your toppings from there. Everything was served hot, was flavorful and hit the spot as we are all avid Mexican food fans. Side Note: Upon arriving back in Orlando we realized that we left our recently purchased Ron Jon gear at Rock the Guac. After a phone call, the owner was quick to mail the items back to me and he even paid for the shipping! Awesome guy to support with your business! We will return! :) read more

The ordering style is like what you would find at Moe's, Salsaritas, or Chipotle. Everything (non-meat) is vegan except for the refried beans, cheese, and sour cream. Has jackfruit too. I've had hard and soft tacos, burritos, both vegan and with meat, from this restaurant and still do not have one complaint. They have several different sauces to try with your meal and the prices are not to complain about, especially when they have random specials. Jackfruit can be a hit or miss sometimes and they have managed to do it right at this place. I've tried similar restaurants in the area, and always come back to this one. read more

My husband and I frequented the yogurt shop next door, so when we heard the owner was opening up a Mexican food restaurant we were really excited. Usually we don't try places right after they open, but since we were craving yogurt anyways, we decided to stop there first for dinner as well. They nailed it! The manager and employees were very kind and answered all of our questions and filled all of my picky burrito requests. My husband and I both got pulled pork burritos and smothered them in the special sauce they have at the sauce counter, and we are determined to own a bottle of that sauce because it was so amazing. My burrito was so big and stuffed that I could only eat half for dinner and reheated the other half for lunch the next day. I am very impressed with how well they had their act together for being so new, and it is nice to know we have something as good, if not better, than a chipotle so close to where we live. Whoever gave a one star review saying this place didn't give enough food for the price...you're crazy. Since you pick everything you want in your meal like a chipotle style lay-out, not getting enough food is all on you. read more

Rock The Guac was OUTSTANDING! I stared down the hurt line and kept on going cause it was that good. I had a pulled pork burrito and my wife had the ground beef nacho bowl. The burrito barely held the moist and tender pulled pork and my 5 toppings. I really liked the choice between fresh or pickled jalapeños. Everything was nice and fresh like the corn salsa my wife had on her salad. I'm still smacking my lips. The DAY of the Dead decor added a whimsical touch. I wish I could take this restaurant back to Massachusetts. I love it when my fellow yelpers call attention to establishments that answer the call for delicious food at a reasonable price. I visited Rock the Guac about a year ago and really liked it. This visit was not enjoyable. I was greeted quickly and friendly. I was disappointed that they no longer offer shrimp as a protein choice. The choices of burrito fillings are great. Everything tasted good except the brown rice which appeared to be undercooked. Rice should not be crunchy. They offer only one size fountain drink cup which frankly is a children's size. The diet coke dispenser leaked water all over my hand. Ugh! When I reviewed my receipt I saw they charge me $2.25 for a tiny drink cup. This is unacceptable. I think their pricing is based on being located in the heart of the Cocoa Beach tourist district. I won't be returning anytime soon. read more
