The restaurant is nice in the inside, the bar wasn't set up just yet... We waited for an hour for our food, the fried foods came out first... Unfortunately I didn't order fried food... When my bag finally came, I ordered snow crab and black mussels... There was absolutely no flavor in the sauce at all. The first time we went was okay. The food was good but not great. The atmosphere was really nice and chill. They could definitely improve on customer service. We went again yesterday and was truly disappointed!!! It took forever to seat us and the music was sooo loud it was hard to hear the person sitting next to us. The food was still really bland and oily. Some of the seafood was either over cooked or not cooked enough. As a party of 4 I expected it to be a pricey bill but OMG! they charged us a $30 gratuity for subpar service. When I asked why I was being charged an additional fee for only 4 people when a sign said a party of 6 would be charged gratuity, the waitress told me that any bill over $100 gets charged gratuity. That's a complete SCAM!! It's a seafood restaurant. The average bill is going to be over $100. And for that fee I expect upscale service which I absolutely did not get. We had someone take our order and drop off our bagged food. That is not worth a $30 tip. Truly disappointed in this establishment. Please do not waste your time or money! The Rockin Crab is slightly better than it's counterparts. The prices for quantity was great and the customer service was A-1. I got S5 Crab and Shrimp w butter on the side. I believe her name was Sherry. We expressed an experience we had Saturday at 7pm regarding the live DJ and the music being extremely loud. We went to Rockin Crab Stonecrest/Lithonia for dinner. The waitress was already hostile but we dealt with it and didn't take it personally. The restaurant played the Stevie Wonder birthday song and the waitress stated "she wasn't singing no damn happy birthday song when it's 13 people at the table and are y'all all on the same check or what" My daughter ordered a sweet tea and my cousin ordered an Arnold Palmer. The tea was the color of light brown water and tasted as such. We asked the waitress if it could be remade, she came back dropped the drinks on the table with an attitude and walked off. The tea looked the exact same. I then called her over to the table and told her I think the tea may be either old or there wasn't a bag was inside and it tasted like water. She said "well that's the way it taste when I make it I use two but if I don't then I don't know so y'all want something else or what?" So my daughter ordered a lemonade and my cousin ordered a sprite..... it was also watered down. So we let her know then asked to speak to the manager.. the manager was a bartender as well so we had to wait for her to come over. When she came over I told her the issues with the drink which by the way NEVER LEFT THE TABLE, so here we are with two watered down Arnold palmers, a lemonade, and a sprite. I say I think the soda machine may be broken and she replies "it probably is" while leaning to one side like "ok and". I tell her I don't dine in often but the one time I have and every time I do a call In order I have NEVER had any problems, it's my daughters birthday and we just want to have a good experience to which she replies SO YALL WANT SOME MORE TEA. She grabs the cups off the table with her fingers inside the tea and takes them to the back. She comes back with the exact same looking tea and we let her know it's still not to the standard we have had before. She replies "well I don't know then cause that's how the tea is so y'all want some water or something?" At that moment I'm done with the drinks and everybody just getting water. The food comes out and we start to open the bags, we then wait on the waitress to bring items we initially asked for upon ordering fbe food. We take a couple bites then realize yes this isn't right. The potatoes were hard, the food tasted as if it had been sitting so we asked for the manager again. I asked her if there was an owner Available. She asked why? I told her because the waitress's attitude then hers wasn't working for me and things were not up to par. She replies I AINT HAVE NO ATTITUDE WHEN I CAME OVER HERE, to which I replied "that's fine can I speak to the owner. The owner goes and stands by the front so I wave for him to come over. He nods to her as if she's the help and I said no I need to speak to you. She's loudly telling him her side of the story to which I reply if he has a question he can come and speak to me. She replies by shooing me and saying something to the effect of AINT nobody tryna hear you. So I get up to speak with him HE WALKS OFF! So then her energy turns into Billy bad ass. I politely let her know I don't care how big she is whatever she is trying to do won't go how she thinks. So in the middle of the restaurant YES I'm arguing with an idiot for about a minute. I tell everyone LETS GO, we leave WHY DOES THIS MF COME OUTSIDE RIGHT BEHIND US WITH HER PURSE ABOUT HOW SHE GONE SHOOT US? COOL, we go back in forth outside. I proceed to my car which is parked on the other end of the plaza, the owner comes out. I didn't start recording until I noticed he was but the gist of the conversation was you don't speak to an owner when you go anywhere and that's why you have a manager and if she can't fix it then oh well. He never brought a check or brought up a check as he stated on the inside that he had taken care of it and apologized. WHY DID HE TELL THE POLICE WE TRIED TO SKIP OUT ON A BILL FOR FOOD WE DIDNT EAT?
