I was really craving some seafood boil and wanted to try this place out since it got so many good reviews and had a variety of locations. The restaurant is located in a plaza with maybe 7 tables? Inside-a little on the smaller side. The cashier who greeted us was super sweet and patient. Explained the menu to us and offered suggestions. We ended up going with the catfish and fries, spicy garlic noodles and combo 2 with 1/2 lb of head on shrimp and 1/2 lb of clams We just chose a table and they do offer aprons and gloves which I did use! They brought out all the food we ordered and omg the sauce they used is so good. I think it's better than any seafood boil I've been to. Spicy garlic noodles were maybe a little too spicy for me but still good if you can handle the heat. Catfish was nice and crispy, loved every bite. Cajun fries were also really good too. After the meal, there is a sink in the back to was your hands :) overall, can't wait to come back. Seems like they offer some pretty good deals on weekdays too.

Wow. I was pleasantly blown away by their food...it's in the strip mall by Smiths and Handel's and I've passed by this spot many times and yet gad never really checked it out. I got their Cajun pasta plus their Cajun sweet wings. And OH MY GOSH. I was blown away!!!!! Any of these seafood boils really comes down to flavor of the sauce so I am really looking forward to trying out their shrimp and other seafoods in that same sauce. The Cajun pasta - 5/5 Cajun sweet wings - 5/5 Definitely will be coming back.

Ordered here for take out a few times and it's always been good! This time we ordered the Seafood & Wings Combo but sadly there was a missing item and I don't realize until we were home. The combo is $99 and should include 3lb of seafood, 18 wings, sides of corn, potato, egg, sausage, and a large white rice. Unfortunately the rice was left out. Hopefully this was just an unfortunate accident! Don't forget to double check your orders before leaving.

Ate 3 bites and I had to take off my gloves to picture this and do a review. This sauce is so tasty! I was shook but i think this is my favorite cajun sauce in town! It's not overly garlicky nor too buttery. And the sweetness is just right to compliment the spicy level. I'd even have the sauce with plain rice or noodles. Shrimp was not soggy at all, quite plumb and crawfish is decent size. Sausage is the only thing i didn't really enjoy but that's more of personal taste. I noted in my online order to switch up potato to another piece of corn. The staff reads notes, and service was fast. Restaurant is clean, at a convenient location. Hope they expand to north summerlin/centennial soon.

If you're looking to get some seafood boil in the South West part of Las Vegas then this is your place. I've seen this place driving by and realized this is the closest Seafood boil to my house so I decided to try it. And to my surprise, they had some really good seafood boil. We had 4 people, and went with the Combo 3, an additional 1 lb of crawfish and 4 rices. Personally, I felt like it was an adequate enough to leave fulfilled but I for sure think an additional 1 or 2 lbs would be just the right amount. Flavor wise we got medium and then got fire on the side. The medium is a good standard but the fire is what really brought all the flavors together. There was some type of sweetness in it, but for my tolerance, it wasn't completely spicy which is fine. The service is pretty simple since you order at the counter and sit wherever you like. They'll bring the food to you and can also assist you with any additional needs you may require. The decor is simple with a partial wharf feeling. We were the only people in the place so it was pretty quiet so I don't know how it would be when it's busy. Overall, I really like this place and as far as recommendations, I'd say come here based on their weekly special. They also have lunch specials and do to-go orders which I noticed a lot of people were doing while we were there. They don't serve beer, but they do serve macaroons which can be really great after a hearty meal.

We ordered take out and the lunch prices were unbelievable. I figured it would be small portions but they were generous with the portions. I did a shrimp meal and I was given a good amount of shrimp, a huge potato, corn and rice. The sauce was soooooo good. I can't wait to actually dine in so that I can try some other items. It is also worth noting that you can order online for delivery or pickup. If you are doing pickup for multiple people, they like for you to bring the physical card with you.

So we were here visiting from the Midwest and I had to write a review for this establishment. I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! The manager was incredibly accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Our food arrived so quickly that we almost felt like they had read our minds. The manager was extremely attentive to our needs and went out of his way to ensure we had a pleasant experience, which was much appreciated. I would have given it 5 stars, but the corn was overcooked, and there wasn't a crab bucket for our crab legs and our peeled shrimp. However, when we asked for a crab bucket, the manager promptly got us one and even lined it with a plastic bag, which worked out perfectly. I suggested they offer these with the seafood boils to make things neater and easier for guests, and the manager seemed receptive to the idea. Thank you for Rockin Crab. Almost forgot those cajun wings are very delicious, you have to try them. The dry rub wings were good too but I love spicey wings so cajun wings for he win!

We ordered and shared Rockin combo with 1/2 pound snow crab and 1/2 pound shrimp. Staff were very friendly; they patiently walked us through the menu. Food was well cooked and seasoned. I wish there was more sauce for dipping the items. Aside from that, it was just the right amount of food for the two of us. We got medium spicy, which was good enough for me. My husband wished it would have been spicier. As a note, the cashier mentioned that we could get it spicier if needed but found out after the fact that it would be $3 more because they would give you a side of sauce. That would have been nice to know upfront, but other than that, the service was great. The snow crab was a bit of work, so not sure I could get that again. The shrimp was not too difficult to manage (even with head on). I also appreciated that they gave us gloves and bibs. Great for keeping our hands clean. This is a great casual spot! I would come here again.

So happy there's now a seafood boil place in my side town! I typically get crawfish, but they don't have that here, so I got the shrimp in a bag lunch special. I also tried the Rockin shrimp plate and wings during lunch, and those were good and perfectly portioned. Their wings had perfect crunch and flavor. Food was delicious, service was great, place was clean. Always a bonus when there's a place to wash your hands outside of the restroom. Prices are also reasonable.

Ordered two pounds of shrimp for me and my hubby. Head on for me, easy peel for him.. he's a baby lol.. Very very very flavorful! The sausages were perfectly cooked and not soggy. Only advice i have is to go up a spice level. Medium which is what i ordered is like mild. Rockin Crab's staff is A M A Z I N G! Smiling and being patient goes a long way with me. My wife and I had the shrimp and veggies. The Cajun sauce was so flavorful. A perfect blend of garlic and spicy goodness. The space is nicely decorated without being over the top. Jason and Tiffany are welcoming and customer focused. They make their customers feel special. The location is nicely situated in West Las Vegas in the Smith's shopping center at Hualapai and Tropicana. We are definitely going back again and we cant wait. read more

Don't write many reviews but food and service were amazing. I got the Thai hot pot and my wife got the ez peel shrimp and we shared the Cajun pasta. We loved all of it but I heard the hot pot will be gone soon since it's a seasonal thing . Can't go wrong with Cajun shrimp though! A MUST! The Original Cajun flavor boil and Cajun wings are FIIIIIIIRE Their wings are super crunchy, had the perfect crisp yet tender in the middle. The best wings we've ever had!! I'm not a mussel fan, usually because of their grainy texture, but these were super clean and delicious. Shrimp was perfectly cooked, soft and chewy, not hard and over cooked. If there was a 10 option I would do it. This place was so flavorful. I can still taste of flavors in my mouth. We got 2 pounds of crab muscle shrimp head on shrimp head off garlic noodles potatoes eggs OMG everything was so delicious. We ordered it hot with the inside of inferno sauce. The inferno wasn't hot, but it was so flavorful. Jason took her order great amazing customer service so amazing. This is a hard no for me. First off there isn't like a server or anything. Then we received our crab legs--half of the appendages were missing! And maybe a few legs themselves. We frequent many crab boils and this one has to be by far the worst. Most places a pound would be 2 clusters with 2 claws. Well most of us got 1 claw and one of us got zero claws. We ordered one spicy and the guy didn't know which one it was and was confused, we had to taste to see--and none of them were spicy. Someone ordered potatoes with their shrimp-it ended up in someone else's crab bag. The sides were messed up and some of the sides didn't show, couldn't really track anyone down because there's no servers here. It's like counter service. Ripped off on the snow crabs and the king crab what happened to their decapitated legs? read more

Surprisingly super yummy!!! I love seafood boils but sometimes dont want to drive too far to eat at one. Saw this place open up and was curious to try it. I have tried a couple different Seafood Boil restaurants around town and I have to say that this one had the best flavor of all. It's what they called "Vietnamese Cajun". Well let me tell you it was so delicious!! I will be back. They have other things to choose from which I'm gonna be trying also and I'm sure it will be just as delicious. They serve some hot pot soups also that were very different. I'm definitely looking forward to trying other meals and definitely will have the Seafood Boil again. read more

We must have come on an off day because after hearing such phenomenal reviews noting that this was…read morecomparable to the Oyster Bar, this was the only place I insisted that we visit during our trip. I had reservations for a party of 2 on Saturday at 7:30pm. I don't think they even looked at the reservation system because when we walked in I told the lady at the front that I had reservations, and she never asked me for what time, or for my name. She just said okay our table isn't ready yet and it would be a ten minute wait. The two parties (presumably walk ins) in front of us were seated before us. I don't understand the purpose of having a reservation if we aren't going to be seated at our reservation time. However, we were seated by the anticipated wait time of ten minutes, so at least they provided an accurate wait time estimate. The menu showed Blue Point Oysters, Kumiai Oysters, Scallop on a Half Shell, and two Oysters of the day: Sol Azul and Jumbo. Turns out Sol Azul was sold out so we ordered Jumbo and Kumiai at $4/piece. For entrees, we ordered the lobster mac n cheese for a market price of $45, a pan roast, and grilled octopus. To drink we ordered two Sapporos. Turns out they only have bottles and do not have anything on draft. Oysters: I found these to be pretty good. I also like that they labeled which oysters were which. In comparison to the Oyster Bar, I did like these significantly better. However, they do come with a hefty price tag. Lobster mac n cheese: The menu states that the lobster mac n cheese is a WHOLE lobster with cheddar lobster mac n cheese, but it was indeed NOT a whole lobster, and just a lobster tail. This was disappointing for the price point. I had seen prior photos on Yelp and the lobster mac n cheese used to come with more lobster, and I was expecting something similar for that price point. However, the mac n cheese alone was fantastic and I would order just the mac n cheese (no lobster) again in a heartbeat. The description is just very misleading. Pan Roast: I had high hopes for this one, but it just didn't do it for me. My partner thinks they used frozen shrimps, and I found the sauce to be pretty thin with muted flavors. Unfortunately, it does not compare at all to the Oyster Bar for me. Grilled octopus: I wasn't the biggest fan, but my partner who doesn't like octopus liked this a lot. He thinks the reason I didn't like mine as much was because mine wasn't charred enough like his was. I found my octopus to be a little rubbery, and would consider it more of an appetizer than an entree considering the size of the dish. However, that garlic rice that comes on the side was delicious! Lastly, we ordered the tiramisu. I remember this one being very good. It was very large, had a great coffee flavor, and a bit of crunchy textures inside of it which was very fun. One thing that I thought was weird was we were given the bill before the dessert even came out. There was nobody waiting for our table, so I'm not sure what the rush was. I reminded her that we were still waiting on the dessert and she said that she knew. The fact that it wasn't an oversight and she wanted to give us the bill before we had received our full order was just odd to me for a sit down dining experience. The bill was also very pricey. There are two different prices, a cash price and a credit card price. I personally felt the oysters, octopus, mac n cheese, and Sapporos were overpriced. Overall - I don't think we will be back. I did really enjoy the mac n cheese (without the lobster), as well as the garlic fried rice, but I don't think I will return for those two items. Getting the bill before our entire meal was delivered to us, not following a reservation system, and a misleading menu rubbed me the wrong way.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and our server was incredibly attentive throughout the meal. The sushi was outstanding. The nigiri bites are absolutely decadent. I highly recommend the Salmon Truffle Aburi. It was so delicious that I honestly wish I had ordered ten of them! The crispy rice with spicy tuna was another standout. The tuna was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and every bite left me wanting more. To round out the meal, I ordered the Fujisan Maki Roll. Since it's deep-fried, it was the perfect warm addition to complement the rest of my meal, and it definitely did not disappoint. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Between the exceptional food, beautiful ambiance, and outstanding service, NeNe has already become one of my favorite spots. I'll definitely be back and can't wait to try more of the menu!
