To go order, Surf N' Turf Burger, Salads, Double Premium Protein Plate.

I'll start off with the food, it's fantastic. The owners of both locations are very meticulous about Volcano Grille's taste. Always cooked fresh to order with fresh ingredients and seasoned to perfection. The ingredients are also top notch and are of great value for what you get. Be careful though, price can be driven up quickly with all the options available, but know that the quality will match the price. Service was great, all folks involved were very attentive and assured our satisfaction. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dining in is fast casual, but very comfortable ambience with a bit of nerdiness if you look closely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On purpose, it's pretty fantastic. Dining in or out, you'll have great presentation of the food. Have feedback? The owners listen, but please be considerate and constructive. They are amazingly receptive. Before I forget, the sauces are also made daily and top notch. My personal favorites are the Japanese Salsa, Wasabi (one location might be spicier or greener than the other, owner is working on buttoning that up so they are both consistent), and Tonkatsu. They've won best of Las Vegas for a reason. So why 4 stars? Because I truly believe they still have room for improvement and that is not necessarily a bad thing. One thing is for sure, I do plan to stop by at least once when I travel to Vegas. Unless they open one in Atlanta...

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the location of this restaurant , it's small but intimate and still spacious enough for groups they have indoor and outdoor seating[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the host Pearl was so nice and friendly she welcomed me and my daughters right when we came in and made suggestions and provided good customer service , while we waited she offered us drinks really good energy . I love the food here, the portions are decent I will admit I feel like the prices are high but the food is still good

The Volcano Grille is an almost fast-casual order and pay at the counter Japanese-sort of Hibachi type of restaurant with two locations in Las Vegas (one closer to the airport and this one close to the Durango Hotel/Casino). You basically order a plate, bowl, or Hibachi burrito here. They recently won an award for BEST Japanese Restaurant (according to Channel 5) and also recently were featured on TWO different local channels. they looked and sounded so good on TV that we felt compelled to give them a try. The girl at the counter was helpful and made the ordering as pleasant as possible. We both ordered two protein plates. My side came out first like an appetizer. It was the strawberry miso salad. It was a very plain salad with old dried out carrot shreds and crispy fried noodles. My husband's side came out on his plate and he got soggy spring rolls. Out of our 4 proteins we got only one was good. (beef, Shrimp, Fried Chicken, & Salmon) To my surprise the best (but not perfect) protein was the beef because it was tender and tasty but cooked past the medium-rare request. The worst was the fried chicken. It was lukewarm warm and so dried up and so stringy it should have been trash. The next worst was the shrimp. It was cooked nicely but tasted like OLD Shrimp. The salmon was just over cooked. We both had the 1/2 noodles and the 1/2 grilled rice. I thought the noodles were OK but for some reason we both didn't care for the rice. Not all but most of the side sauces we tried were horrible. Only the Japanese Salsa was ok (tasted like salsa with a little soy sauce) and the Sriracha tasted like a Sriracha. For the most part if I am summing things up. It was like the food was from an old budget buffet.

We love Volcano Grille. You get so many options of sauces, sides, and proteins. The combinations are limitless. For a hot pool day, we ordered take out. We chose the standard pick 2 proteins. We chose chicken katsu, Japanese fried chicken with yakisoba noodles and vegetables. We also got the traditional pick with a choice of steak and chicken (we chose teriyaki chicken) along with yakisoba noodles, shrimp, and grilled vegetables. You get to choose the cook of your steak. Everything was delicious and extra satisfying on a hot poolside day. The food was a family hit. Kids and parents loved it. So easy to order, pick up, and have a well balanced meal with protein, veggies, and carbs.

This was my first time here and had the pleasure of being helped by Cam and Brooklyn. Both were amazing and explained everything. The food was amazing! See the video! Food was 10/10. We ordered a burrito with Japanese chicken and shrimp with noodle, rice and mac salad. We also ordered a plate with steak, chicken katsu and shrimp with grilled rice. It was delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location was very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing art on the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely coming back again! Don't sleep on this place!

10/10!! Started with incredibly friendly and helpful staff to help us narrow down options. The food was to die for, complete with yummy sauces and the protein was cooked top notch. Loved the vibe and music, would be back!

Filet & Shrimp with rice, noodle's & veggies.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I placed an order to pick up. The premium plate, two items, filet mignon & grilled shrimp with rice, noodles & veggies. I'd say it was just OK. Here's why I say this: I ordered filet mignon, I ordered it medium & it was well done & I've had filet many times theirs was So/So. The shrimp was good. I also felt it wasn't quite enough to fill me up. Look at the picture, Not much steak & shrimp & too much of the other stuff (see picture) $30.00 Also, I'd eat at the restaurant, in my opinion picking it up is not the way to go. I'd probably go back if they offered me like half off my next order. Don't think I'll go back.

2 premium protein plate with rice, noodles and grilled vegetables
    Michaela G.

Ive been wanting to try Volcano Grille for awhile. I ordered the 2 premium protein plate with steak and shrimp. My sides were grilled veggies, white rice and noodles. The shrimp and steak were cooked perfectly. I chose traditional cook. Their fuji yumma and ginger sauce were tasty with my proteins. I wouldn't choose the grilled vegetables again. There wasn't very much of it, and I tasted like it had some kind of sauce on it which I didn't want. It is a bit pricey. This plate was $30. I got 6 medium shrimps and what I would say was a single serving of steak. The pricing is probably in line with a sit down Teppanyaki place.

For $54 dollar+tips+tax=$70 for this meal. Wow this is gold!

Are they now open for dine in?

Yes! Now open for dine in!

Are you back to having dine-in service yet? Since lockdown, I've been wanting and waiting for you guys to reopen.

There is no place to dine-in. No tables or chairs. Walk-in place order & go.

How many ounces of white chicken are there in a plate with three servings?

I don't have the exact answer but I could tell you that I can never finish my food

Is this place still open for delivery because I can't find any delivery options?

We will be open again after quarantine!

    Are there gluten free options?

Hello! Unfortunately we currently have a very limited gluten free menu. Salmon, lobster, shrimp, and grilled tofu would be the only proteins that can be altered.

The food itself tasted ok, but the customer service and experience went downhill quickly. The chef decided to share our shrimp and steak with the neighboring table. It felt unfair and awkward to say the least. We did not think our food order is communal...since our bill sure wasn't. I can't help but wonder if assumptions were being made--whether about our preferences or something else--but regardless, it wasn't appropriate. To make matters worse, we were only asked and given only one ice cream instead of two since it was supposed to come with each combo order. Maybe they assumed adults don't care for dessert? I'm not sure, but it added to the feeling of being overlooked. The food was fine, but the unnecessary drama and poor service ruined the experience. I wouldn't recommend this place. I selected Pisces, I ended up destroying Mizumi ( @mizumi.wynnlv ).    I posted up at the Pisces bar, ordered a sparkling water, I'm too bougie for steel, and started strategizing what to devour. The couple next to me from Nashville started a discussion with the bartender about their plans for Nobu. I had to intervene, "...that place sucks! In fact all the versions of Nobu in Vegas are terrible." They laughed, then retorted "...how about the one in Manhattan?" I passed back "...I lived there, went to it a few times, that one's incredible." The bartender inquired about Mizumi. "It's on my list I exclaimed!" "Do you want to join us?" they shouted!
