When I'm craving really good BBQ, this place always hits the spot. This is the closest restaurant to us, but for years we always went to the Highland location. We decided to have lunch at the restaurant and we were pleased with the overall experience. The employees greeted us with a friendly attitude and they were very knowledgeable when it came to describing some of the menu items. We ordered our go-to which is the Pit Special and it includes 5 meats and 3 sides. For our sides we chose the kick n' bbq beans, collared greens, and the sweet cornbread. Our food came out really quickly and there were a variety of homemade sauces you can choose from to add with your meal. The brisket, 1/4 chicken, and hot links were cooked to perfection and were very juicy. The ribs and pulled pork were a tad bit on the drier side, but the flavor was still good. The Carolina Vinegar tastes absolutely delicious on all of the meats and we added some to our collared greens as well. The sides were our absolute favorite part of the meal and we devoured all of them. The baked beans and collared greens were so flavorful with smokey bits of meat throughout which added a bit of extra depth and richness. The cornbread was so soft and buttery with just the right amount of sweetness. We couldn't have asked for a better way to enjoy some tasty BBQ classics. read more

First off, the customer service was impeccable! The woman who helped me was amazing. Now on to the bad news and good news. Let me start off by saying I've eaten here many times but this has been the most disappointing visit ever. For over $100 for our family meal, I expected amazing food. The onion straws, corn bread and brisket were good. The ribs were tough and dry and the pork was dry as well. The ribs had to be the worst because it was literally the most dry, chewy and tough ribs I've ever had. Is this going to make me not go back? Not for awhile at least. $100 a meal is a lot and it's a splurge we only do once in awhile. My kids literally soundly eat the ribs at all. Staff was nice and friendly. The restaurant has plenty of seating and is clean. I loved the beef ribs and pork ribs. As well as the fries and Mac and cheese. However I did have a bad experience when we ordered another half pound of brisket. It took about 30 minutes until we asked for an update on them. Wanted to try this location to check for consistency as I had friends from out of town. The restaurant was smaller than the original location but when I walked in, the smells were familiar and wonderful. It's amazing when the workers acknowledge our Veterans. I ordered the spudtastic which is the loaded baked potato. The potato was loaded with pulled pork, beans, cheese, sour cream and chives. The potato was a little overcooked for my liking but overall it was edible. We also had the brisket sandwich with waffle fries and trio with hot links and ribs. Rolling Smoke is located in the Grand Canyon Parkway on Flamingo and Grand Canyon in the Southwest part of Las Vegas. There was plenty of parking. We went for lunch and the place was fairly busy. Nautia greeted us at the counter and was friendly and helpful in answering our questions. I ordered the bbq smoked salad with brisket and my friends ordered the baby back ribs. The portions were fairly large. A bit pricey though but still very tasty. Would be nice for a lunch portions menu. We love Rollin Smoke's other location so we decided to try this one for Father's Day. When we arrived the restaurant was very busy but luckily there was just one person ordering in front of us. We were ordering to go. The online system wasn't accepting orders and we decided since it was a big order we'd just order and wait. The young lady working the register wasn't very friendly and didn't smile...not one time. Maybe she was just having an off day, I hope that's not her everyday attitude. We ordered 5 meals with extra sides and some cornbread. My favorite thing is collard greens (if you read my other reviews you'll definitely see a theme!) so of course I order some. We got 2- 3 meat combos with chopped brisket, ribs and burnt ends & one with brisket, burnt ends and hot links (I think), a burger, a trio slider plate and meat by the pound and some ribs. Our sides were 2 collard greens, mac & cheese, 2 potato salad and mashed potatoes & fries with the burger. We got 4 drinks, 2 sweet teas and 2 sodas. The food came out pretty fast while I was getting some bbq sauces to go. I was so happy and commented to my hubby on the way out that they marked off every item we ordered to make sure they got everything, what a great way to make sure. We drove the 25 minutes home and guess what? The slider trio and one of the collard greens wasn't there. Luckily we had enough food from the other 4 meals that nobody went hungry and we still had leftovers. I called and left a message as well as contacted them through the contact us on the app. To my surprise, I got a call at 8:30 pm, apologizing for our disappointment and told me I would be credited. I've been so busy all week I haven't been able to call them back. I looked at my credit card and they did put the credit on there. Thank you Rollin' Smoke for the follow through! Now the food... all the meats were delicious, the only complaint about the meat, the burger was ordered medium well and we got medium rare. The greens were not as good as usual, they were mushy and not so tasty, but that's the first time that's happened. So I think maybe it was just as off day. The potato salad and mashes were delicious! This place don't know how to miss. I always recommend anybody who hasn't found good bbq in Vegas to come straight here. Portions are huge and quality exceeds my expectations every time. Meat is beyond tender and their bbq sauces are some of the best I've ever tasted. A lot of places ruin good food with the sauce alone. Their sides are fresh and delicious as well. I've enjoyed everything I've ever eaten here. My beef ribs for lunch today fell right off the bone and melted in my mouth with every bite. They are ginormous btw. I never leave this place hungry lol. 1 beef rib alone does more for me here than a half rack at other restaurants do. It's so clean and well kept every time I come in, another plus. A decent size restaurant, walk up counter to order from, self serve beverage station, BBQ sauce station and a good amount of tables and chairs for dine in. Service was great the two ladies taking the orders and who helped us were awesome, they even added a complimentary dessert for first time dining at this location. On the menu: The Pit Special - 5 meats, 3 sides Brisket, Pulled Pork, Hot Links x2 and 2 Spare Ribs. Corn Nuggets, Waffle Fries and Loaded Mash. Banana Pudding for the complimentary dessert. The grill master will offer you a sample of the meat because he knows he did a great job! Sauces are served in the side so you can add as much or little as you like. So far my favorite side dish has been the baked beans, and I know that's saying a lot when it's mac and cheese on the menu. My favorite meat has to be the brisket, then the ribs. Rollin Smoke BBQ has been on my to-try list for a while and finally made it there to check it out. The original location is near The Strip and since I was staying out in Summerlin, getting to this location was so convenient. Arriving at 5:20pm, there were no diners in the dining room, but some customers were picking up takeout orders. We stared at the large menu board behind the counter to determine what to order. With the help of the clerk, we ordered Trio Choice of 3 Meats, which we chose brisket, 2 spare ribs, upgraded the third item to burnt ends and selected corn bread for the side item. We also added the "world famous" beef ribs. Check in on Yelp and get a complementary "Mama's' Banana Pudding. On the condiments station, they have five different BBQ sauces that you can pour into containers to bring to your table or cap it to go. For the three meats, the burnt ends were tasty. The spare ribs were good, but nothing special. The brisket was very lean so it was a little dry and it helped with bbq sauce on it. If I do order it again, I would request less lean brisket if possible. But the BBQ beef ribs were so delicious. No wonder they're "world famous". The ribs were thick, meaty and so moist that it just about fell off the bone. These ribs are a must order. The banana pudding was topped with nilla wafers and whipped cream. It was tasty and was not overly sweet. Glad I finally made it here. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was pretty full by the time we left. I'll be back again for the BBQ beef ribs. I normally go to the downtown location. Downtown location never disappoints.. im so mad I even tried to come to this place cause it was terrible. So I came today and ordered food and it took them like 35- 40 minutes or so to make my food. Smh. So I got a brisket sandwich , and a loaded potato , 2 large Mac and cheese , 4 pieces of cornbread and the total was about 60-70$ and when I say the whole meal was not good at all. Total waste of money I'd rather eat Mac and cheese Kraft before I eat what they just provided me today & Mind you the Mac and cheese alone was $20.00 for two larges the Mac and cheese noodles was hard and had no flavoring it taste like no it had no cheese in it all more like milky can't even taste the cheese in it or nothing just terrible. The potato on the loaded potato was hard and overall not eatable. The meat on my Brisket sandwich was just nasty over all I'll never be going to this location ever again. Came here for the AYCE bbq. I had seen this on youtube and wanted to give it a shot when I was in Vegas. It was decent, but I would not do it again for a few reasons: -the bbq quality is okay. It's not that smoky, and a little under seasoned. Really needs the sauce. I'd put it at the level of an above average bbq joint at a non BBQ state (such as NJ) -this location at least only gives you 45min to order. Based on my pace, that's basically 2 plates. For AYCE I'd like an hour at least -the sides they serve with the meat are way too large. For instance, the portion of fries was huge. So this means you will either be loading up on sides or wasting That being said, even though I only ate 2 plates, I think the $50 price was not unreasonable as bbq can get pricey. The Ribs were good. Baby back was my favorite. Beef rib was good too... really tender, although it was a little under seasoned. The burnt ends were not good at all. They taste flavorless which is probably why they covered them in sauce. I couldn't finish my portion. You need to go to the counter each time to order.
