    Chorizo bowl

Sunday morning after grocery shopping and felt the need to eat before heading home to put the groceries. I knew everywhere would be packed, so now it's about where haven't i been in a while...Rockledge Diner. Got there around 945am and only 2 other families were dinning. Took a seat, table had just been cleaned, and Cara(sp?) was my server. I love breakfast and it dont take me long to choose. I saw the chorizo bowl and it sounded really good. Ordered a side of grits and Cara suggested cheese(cheese makes everything good) her words not mine lol, and toast. Food came out quick and hot. Fresh salsa was topped on the bowl and i could tell it was fresh by the cilantro! Chef kiss. Grits nice and cheesy. This is not my first time here, family loves when I order take out breakfast as well. Plenty of seats, very clean, and friendly staff. Thank you Cara and Rockledge Diner

Best grits I've had in Florida! Thanks for a wonderful breakfast. The sausage patties were cooked just like I make them, the omelette my husband had was filling, with everything you'd love inside. Thanks for rocking out Rockledge!

Great folks and a great omelette stuffed full. Biscuit was good, great sausage gravy and the grits were perfect.

Every time I go there, they are closed...wish they would open more. Diners are usually 24/7...or at least open thru dinner.

The center of the restaurant was thick with dust between the tables. The chips were stale. I had bathroom issues afterward.

Why is Brevard County sleeping on this place? We popped in…read moretonight for an early dinner and were surprised to only find one other couple there. (Glad to report several more arrived in the time we were there.) The place is adorable, clean and well lit. We ordered several items the hush puppies, garden salad with grilled chicken, the Florida Heat Lobster Roll, and the Connecticut Lobster Roll. The rolls came with fries, baked beans and Coleslaw. We enjoyed everything! The baked beans were Boston style and flavorful. The coleslaw was vinegar based - the way I like it. The rolls were perfect. Misty was our server. She was just attentive enough. Sometimes when restaurants are slow servers will over do it and she was great. She helped us with our selections. The food came fast and hot. I highly recommend this place. We weren't drinking tonight but they also have happy hour M-F.

I ordered a Big Wave for my drink ($5.50). I sat at the bar and my server, Hannah, was polite and pleasant as well as extremely efficient. She had my drink within a minute of ordering and checked on me throughout my meal. The inside is decorated with interesting colors and artwork. It's an inviting place and would be a great place for groups. My Lobster Roll meal came out in a timely manner and looked very good. However unfortunately, there wasn't much taste to it. It was extremely dry. I did order a gluten free bun so maybe that was the problem? Anyway, I was not impressed. The beans, coleslaw, and fries were very good.

This is for the RESTAURANT. Honestly, it's a bit confusing that on Yelp it's hard to tell what is…read morethe difference between the reviews for the market and the restaurant. There seems to be separate listings. Also, when you go know that the Best parking is over by the market. But that means you walk through the market to get to the restaurant. When we went for dinner, the market closed while we were eating so we had to go out the front of the restaurant and walk around the building to get back to our car. As for the restaurant, first off, our server AnneKay was delightful. She was personable, fun, and attentive. Great server! My wife and I and our adult daughter died there and were overall pleased. I do have to make one negative comment about the Carpaccio, unfortunately- this was more of a salad on top of five small medallions of carpaccio. Definitely not enough meat. My wife and daughter split the braised short rib and it was delicious. I had the dry aged ribeye with the black truffle butter with the side of the wild mushrooms. It was good, but not great. I also had the Chardonnay mushroom soup. It reminded me of the soup from Sage restaurant that used to be over in Cape Canaveral. A little less creamy, but more mushroomy. If you miss that soup at Sage, this is a good substitute. All in all, we enjoyed our visit.
