We came here on a Wednesday evening for the Broadway Bar Sing-along and my goodness it was more fun than I anticipated. A friend of mine got tickets for us because we love musicals and karaoke and thought, what a great way to blend the two! Our MC was a lovely person by the name of Hummingbird Meadows and she really knew how to work the crowd. There was a mix of trivia, "auditions" for roles of Grease, and various sing-alongs, as well as karaoke of musicals. There was also themed drinks that you can get with your tickets. They aren't going to be around for much longer (August, i think?) so if you're looking for a fun thing to do and you like musicals, you should definitely check this out. read more

I visited twice for Holly Jolly bar popup (since tickets were nonrefundable). The first time, they were super unprepared with only one bartender stressfully working the entire bar and not enough materials, so the drinks were messy and inconsistent. The decor and vibe were also just typical, so it wasn't really worth the ticket cost over going to any other bar. The second time was much smoother, with more Christmas decor (like lights) and more consistent drinks. There are booths and standing tables which are first come first serve (not included with ticket). It's EXTREMELY loud in here and noise pierces heavily, so it's more fun for large groups. read more

I had high hopes but sadly the Holly Jolly Pop Up here was very poorly executed. It was $35 a ticket per person on a Friday night and this isn't even the highest admission rate that they have. The welcome drink was the Milk and Cookies drink which is an actual cocktail on the holiday menu. I would rather drink a latte buzzball over their milk and cookies cocktail. Some drinks had the toasted marshmallow included while most did not. They also came in all sorts of different glasses. All of the other holiday drinks we ordered in addition were all missing ingredients or tasted like water. Most of our drinks did not come in holiday cups as they ran out and were very disorganized. Other customers received a half empty cocktail in a cup because "it's supposed to come in another cup". The bar only had 3 bartenders and they were very overwhelmed. There was no point in buying a ticket ahead of time when you could walk in at a later time when the bar was way less crowded. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this holiday pop up nor this bar. read more

My cousins and I were looking for a place with a dance floor and good music and we found Rockwell! Although there was a cover charge it wasn't too bad. The music was great and the ambiance was solid. I didn't get any drinks but I tried my sister-in-law's AMF and it was delicious. The dance floor although was crowded, there was till plenty of space for a group of 10 people. The music playing was on hit and every song was a banger. People were nice and they were able to accept either cash or venmo for the cover. The only thing that stood out to me the most was there was an odd amount of body odor, but other than that, solid spot! read more

Went here for a pop up "holly jolly", the place was very well decorated all in christmas themed. Purchased tickets online for the event, is nice that they offered a welcome drink along with the ticket, but downside, they pick your drink for you. Which was disappointing because you pay $30 something for the ticket for a drink you don't even like! The welcome drink was cookies and milk, i'm sorry but it was gross! It was my first time going here with my group. The bouncer was cool, and there was no cover! The bar looked nice inside, with only 1 bar area to order drinks from. There was plenty of free table seating. There were a couple bartenders and they were pretty good about getting to everyone in a quick and timely manner. The DJ was playing a lot of 2010s throwbacks, it was cool! Reason I'm giving 3 stars are shots are overpriced for sure. I got a Tito's shot with OJ back, and that was around $17! Rockwell is located in the Marina District. I came here a couple of weekends ago with my friend to attend this dating app launch party. The place was alright, since we were there for an event I'm sure the crowd was different so I don't know what type of people typically go here. My friend and I just got a simple well drink pineapple vodka, their pineapple juice came from the soda gun which we were surprised. I saw this pop up bar for the holidays being hosted here at Rockwell (Holly Jolly ) it seemed fun so I decided to take my sister here I am very disappointed it looks nothing like the advertisement on Instagram the host in front was super friendly and makes up for all the horrible service inside , you get a welcome drink with the purchase of reserving the tickets the bartender was extremely overwhelmed and the drink was trash it was poorly made and it took around 25 min to receive it , the other 2 bartender's also did not seem jolly and it was overwhelming. The line to get the drinks was not organized and overall the decorations are very sad you can have more fun walking around at your local Walmart I think they should limit the amount of people they allow per hour so the bartenders can have the proper time to make the cocktails Would not recommend at all . read more

I went to this club by myself the security was good the bartender was good but there was no rope to section off my area random people came in my area and bumped my table causing my drinks to spill a random guy threw up on my feet. someone stole my bottle and security found it in another section I spent 500 and I tip everyone. there was a drunk guy that fell on my table I told staff and they let him back in ‍. the bartender was so nice that it was hard to be mad. but for the money plus my bottle being stolen and being thrown up on I need a refund or a better night out read more

This is for the Frankenstein Madlab, I went with a couple girlfriends, we had purchased the tickets online. It's states that there is 90 minute experience that is just completely untrue. It's just like a normal dive bar that has some Halloween decorations. There was no tables available at all and the cocktail that was included in the ticket wasn't as described either there was nothing Halloween about it and there was no Halloween experience. New 5-star place to party in Cow Hollow/Marina! The music slaps, the drinks are fire, and the space is swanky. On a regular night, expect throwbacks and top hits. Cover - $5 for girls, $10 for guys, cash only. Cocktails are about $12 each. The bathrooms are gender neutral stalls guarded by a bouncer who directs you to the next open stall. Restrooms are clean and well stocked (this place is new, after all). There's a huge fan in the corner, like the kind you'd find in a gym. They take airflow and ventilation seriously. A super fun lounge-slash-club in the Marina -- we stopped by on a Friday night and the place was poppin! They have a dance floor in the middle and were playing great music ALL. NIGHT. LONG. Bonus points for the fun music videos on the LED screen -- it was such a vibe. The cocktails are solid and not too pricey. I attended last night with a large group and we got a table. I ordered 2 shots that was about $30 but was charged a separate charge for $500. I have no idea where this $500 charge came from but just wanted to let people know to stay clear of this bar until management can figure out which bartender is overcharging and scamming customers. I'm writing this review in hopes that management will see to fixing what happened to a very bad situation we had with the bouncer and hopefully they will treat other people of color much better. A group of my friends just flew in from London and we were looking for a bar to hit up. We get to Rockwell and mind you there didn't seem to be any rules about a dress code. Two of my friends, one Asian and one white were able to get in wearing just a t shirt. However my black friend London was wearing some designer sweater but was stopped by their bouncers for "Not having a collared shirt." That was literally their words. I pointed to my other friend who got in and they said "Oh it's because he's wearing a jacket." That's pure bullshit. My black friend started asking a lot of questions to the bouncer and at this point he flat out refused to let my friend enter, even when I had my friend who bartends there vouch for us. Fuck that noise, I took my crew of at least 10 potential paying customers + bottle service out of that place. This is very irritating because this is my friend's first time in America and the very first bar we go to he encounters straight up racism at the door. I believe that I was given the date-rape drug (gamma-hydroxybutyrate) at this bar. Based on other reviews and women I have connected with, it appears that this has happened here before. Avoid this bar at all costs - clearly their management knows that this has been an issue. We also never left our drinks, so it is possible that it was a bartender. It is possible that the bartender was culpable due to the fact that there weren't many people in the bar when we were there at 10pm and no one came near us the entire time we were there. The management at this establishment should do a thorough check of their bartenders and the overall safety of the bar.
