Shucks I wish they didn't leave Waikele Outlets years ago. I really wanted to eat ice cream cuz as we were walking through Solvang the luscious aroma of waffle cones infused the air. Smart tactic since the line was growing by the second. Lucky for us we spotted this shop. My eyes caught the reflection of all kinds of candied apples. As always Doc treated hubs and I a delicious afternoon treat. Mine was called chocolate crunch ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. Mmm!!! So good. 10/12/25 Finally checked out this cute chocolatier in Solvang. The truffles looked pretty good so I picked 4. I don't really remember except one is lemon flavored, one is espresso, the other two? Not sure, will find out when I try each. So far I tasted the lemon center flavored truffle. I expected the chocolate to be soft & luscious but it's hard shelled, I suppose it's to withstand melting in the heat. The person who assisted with my purchase was efficient, not really forthcoming with details but sufficient. The shop is clean & all the goods are neatly arranged & organized. It smelled to chocolate which was a delight. The candied apples looked very tempting. Not really impressed with the taste & for $19 for 4 pieces, definitely not impressed as I was with Läderach. Overall, it was a neat experience, but not worth repeating. read more

It was fun being a kid again and choosing everything I wanted to eat in their huge selections of sweets. I got strawberry dipped chocolates, caramel apple with peanuts, and a fudge bar to go for $27.50. Both the strawberry and apples were fresh and delicious. I like that they cut my caramel apple in pieces so my hubby and I could easily enjoy it as we walked around and talked about our plans. We took the fudge home as a souvenir. read more

Loved this little chocolate candy store ! 10/10 recommend there is something there for everyone ! Service was great and it was so nice inside the store! Randomly stopped in to Rocky Mountain chocolate and the smells were amazing. Filled with options galore from chocolate dipped apples to Dubai chocolate which I learned was some viral chocolate that the kids just had to try. After caving in was hit with the sticker shock and an expensive chocolate over $20 for a since portion eek. Over all the chocolate tasted good and quality so it's easy to over look the cost but be warned it's a bit on the costly side. read more

Stopped by this chocolate store in Solvang because my friend recommended getting fudge while here. I was really disappointed by the overpriced goods in general here. But really what else to expect if in a tourist trap? The store had a wide selection of chocolates, covered fruits, and ice cream too. Will definitely be coming back to this place! The young lady making the caramel apples was so friendly and helpful--she even gave us great suggestions on where to eat and what to do around town. Truly 10/10 service from Sandy! The tiger butter apple was absolutely delicious, and we also tried the Dubai bar, which was super crunchy and tasty. The shop was very clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend! read more

Dont get ice cream in a cone. Get it in a cup with cone on the side. When I got 2 ice creams in the cup the lady barely covered the cone...maybe with half scoop of ice cream and the. Charged around $10 per ice cream. Complete rip off read more

Walked in and asked the staff member behind the counter whether the sorbet was the only lactose-free ice cream option. Her response was, "Oh, I'm not sure." Staff should be educated on which lactose-free products they carry. My daughter and I walked out immediately--it's frustrating when employees don't know what products the place they work at does or does not offer. read more

Funny thing about this place is that the employees kept waving at us from outside their door to come in when I was across the street. I tried to ignore it because I didn't need to have chocolate but after they kept waving I laughed and gave in. Ended up getting about $60 worth of chocolates and fudge. They are very good chocolates but maybe I should have bought less ;) read more

Howsoever you f*** up a caramel apple? You put wax or parchment paper around it. Literally took off 90% of the caramel. Ruined it! Most places do something similar. The issue is their caramel wasn't thick or really stuck to the apple. read more

Heard someone in passing talking about the caramel apples and didn't know which store offered it! Then by chance, stumbled upon this place about a few seconds later and saw the same people ordering caramel apples! Such an amazing find during our first visit to Solvang! There are a lot of variety of caramel apples to choose from. You got your classics: caramel apples, chocolate covered, sprinkles, and then you got your creatives: s'mores, cheesecake, peanut butter. Not only did they have caramel apples right at the front of the store, they also had an assortment of chocolates and ice cream! We only ordered the cheesecake caramel apple. The workers were very friendly and offered to cut the apple for us for easier eating. The apple itself was very refreshing and crunchy! It wasn't overly ripe either! The caramel cheesecake part was just okay, but was perfectly meshed with the apple and was a tasty treat! I'd come back to try the different caramel apple flavors! read more

I just discovered this gem yesterday and already dreaming about my next visit. I am a huge dark chocolate fan and are so many delicious options! From truffles, to caramels and peanut butter cups you are sure to find the right treat for you. The friendly staff are full of wonderful tips, and create a warm atmosphere! So amazingly delicious! Were local adjacent (Santa Barbara ) we make a point to come here and swoop up some caramel apples every time we're here. It's our end of visit goal and they are so delicious. We were adventurous and got a peanut butter type on and a classic caramel with peanuts. They're both excellent so I recommend going adventurous and of course my favorite classic. The lady that helped us was so fun and friendly, great service. They have beautiful displays and you truly want to leave with one of each. read more

I cannot help myself. I stop here every single time. We started coming to Solvang over 35 years ago and have loved this little place ever since. I have a few favorites and their fudge is a typical go-to item. But everything is tasty. Their Covid-19 protocols are in place, one family at a time in the store. Thank you for that!! Omg stop by here when you get a chance!!! Totally worth your time. I'm a HUGE caramel apple lover so this place touched my sweet spot - no pun intended !!! This place has so many different types of apples - from s'mores, Reese's, to cheesecake!! Wow!!!! I was in heaven. Your typical Rocky Mountain chocolate store - they've got the mouth watering displays of chocolate dipped apples and some crazy ones with different kinds of marshmallows and nuts grafted onto them. This location sells pretty much the same things as any other Rocky Mountain, prices seemed a little high because of the touristy location. read more

Sometimes greeting customers with happy smile goes a long way even if the ice cream ain't all that great. If they are not happy working there well please don't ruin it for the customer. Makes our day go sour and I really hate that. I wouldn't go back for that reason. Maybe next time I'm visiting I'll make a stop and see if my voice was heard. Stopped by today, like others mentioned there's a sense of disorganization here. There's no line to get helped, everyone just stands and you get helped if your lucky regardless of who was next. I walked in and a group of 5 walked in after me, I was still waiting to get helped when someone helped them first. The apples are amazing I got the peanut butter apple and it was great. read more

I went in today and was wholeheartedly greeted by two teenage boys! I was delighted to see that they were both having fun and taking pride in their work, which was refreshing to watch. They were very funny and the caramel apples were delicious! I wish there was a tip option for credit card payments so that I could've given them something. When I was in the Rocky. The lady who claimed she was the store manager. Gave me the the rudest customer service I have ever had at a Rocky. Looked at the apples very messy you could see the green through the apples all over them. Caramel tasted like it was Burnt, Bought them to just to throw them out.
