I got the caramel peanut apple , it was so good we came back for two more for the road ! Had to also try one of the candied apples and omg loved the fact that they had chamoy to top it off! Got a peanut caramel apple from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Solvang CA. 10 out of 10! Super cute town with so much charm! I didn't catch her name but the person working at 730p May 19th was so sweet! Excellent service! A must visit if you're in visiting!

Randomly stopped in to Rocky Mountain chocolate and the smells were amazing. Filled with options galore from chocolate dipped apples to Dubai chocolate which I learned was some viral chocolate that the kids just had to try. After caving in was hit with the sticker shock and an expensive chocolate over $20 for a since portion eek. Over all the chocolate tasted good and quality so it's easy to over look the cost but be warned it's a bit on the costly side.

Stopped by this chocolate store in Solvang because my friend recommended getting fudge while here. I was really disappointed by the overpriced goods in general here. But really what else to expect if in a tourist trap? The store had a wide selection of chocolates, covered fruits, and ice cream too. However, they only had one option for fudge which was this soft glub. Chocolate milk flavored with some nuts. Wasn't anything over average. One dimensional. I wouldn't get it again

    Good stuff right here!

Funny thing about this place is that the employees kept waving at us from outside their door to come in when I was across the street. I tried to ignore it because I didn't need to have chocolate but after they kept waving I laughed and gave in. Ended up getting about $60 worth of chocolates and fudge. They are very good chocolates but maybe I should have bought less ;)

Howsoever you f*** up a caramel apple? You put wax or parchment paper around it. Literally took off 90% of the caramel. Ruined it! Most places do something similar. The issue is their caramel wasn't thick or really stuck to the apple.

Heard someone in passing talking about the caramel apples and didn't know which store offered it! Then by chance, stumbled upon this place about a few seconds later and saw the same people ordering caramel apples! Such an amazing find during our first visit to Solvang! There are a lot of variety of caramel apples to choose from. You got your classics: caramel apples, chocolate covered, sprinkles, and then you got your creatives: s'mores, cheesecake, peanut butter. Not only did they have caramel apples right at the front of the store, they also had an assortment of chocolates and ice cream! We only ordered the cheesecake caramel apple. The workers were very friendly and offered to cut the apple for us for easier eating. The apple itself was very refreshing and crunchy! It wasn't overly ripe either! The caramel cheesecake part was just okay, but was perfectly meshed with the apple and was a tasty treat! I'd come back to try the different caramel apple flavors!

Can never go wrong getting caramel apples. Although obviously pricey, the sweets were good, not amazing, but I would buy from them again.

I suppose this is a great place to check out if you are looking for Danish style chocolates and licorice items, but not sure if it's much better than other chocolate shops for regular chocolates. Main difference with Danish chocolates is that they use marzipan (almond meal & sugar) as one of the ingredients. I'm not a big fan of marzipan so just ended up getting some peanut butter cups and assorted regular chocolates. They were quite good but pricey. Also got a gift box of nut cluster chocolates to share with my coworkers.

I was in here on a Friday a little after 6pm and no one was in here. I asked one of the young women working here what time they closed and she told me 6:30pm. I then went to check out their back area and oh my they had quite an assortment of Dutch licorice, I was in heaven! I like salty licorice, less sweet and more salty with a good licorice bite and also found one of the brands I really like. I also tried another I did know, just to see what it was like. The brand I am used to I am saving for later as I know what it tastes like. The new brand I got is a bit more sweet than I like but I still like it and it was good I tried it. This is a great shop if youre looking for Dutch style licorice. They also have plenty of award winning chocolates too and a lot of people showed up after I entered and all ordering their chocolates. Id come back here again when in town!

I asked her what it was but mispronounced the name. She smilled & politely corrected me then told me what it was. The guy behind us in line told us it was amazing so we ordered it. My hubby got yhr Arabic coffee (made in sand) I got a salted Carmel latte. It cost $44. The Kunafa was absolutely to die for! We shared 1 & in thankful because it's too much for me. The sweet sauce with the salty cheese & crunch of the philo are a perfect combination. Our coffee was strong, just how we like it. We had great service & food. Definitely coming back for icecream. Cafe Dolce offers breakfast and lunch items, acai bowls, drinks, and more. They also have a huge selection of Lebanese Baklawa, as well as ice cream. They serve a variety of McConnell's ice creams, as well as an additional case of flavors. I noticed they have a baklava gelato, so I decided to get this! It was pretty good, but I will say the prices are a bit steep for the amount of gelato I received. Fun to try this unique flavor regardless!

Unfortunately, the store was not what I expected, which is my fault for assuming I suppose. The Swedish Candy Factory specializes in Polkagris - which are big candy canes essentially. I was hoping to find more Swedish candy options and not just a Swedish candy store - if that makes sense. There were lots of candy options from gummies to chocolates though! The inside was cute and well organized throughout 2 different rooms. They even had a candy making station where you could watch employees, but no one was making anything when we arrived. They also had a big screen that displayed Polkagri fun facts. Overall, this was a very cute store, but nothing besides the Polkagris were any different from the other candy stores I visited during my trip. Staff was very friendly though!
